Overall, my time in the Virtual Internships Program was both insightful and rewarding. I had the opportunity to contribute to projects related to the M&A knowledge base, where I developed a stronger understanding of how structured information can support strategic decision-making. Although my exposure to some areas, such as Customer Data Analytics and ERPNext software development, was limited, the experience motivated me to further explore these fields. My experience with Virtual Internships was valuable and well-structured, offering real-world exposure beyond theory. For the cost you do get support from the internship but the placement I had was pretty poor. The tasks given were not what I had studied for and I averaged just over 1 hours worth of work a week instead of the 10 hours.

Feel short changed and haven't really learned much for what I paid and experienced.

I am a student at Botho University studying Health Information Management and I took Virtual internship program as part of my academic required.
The most exciting thing was being able to achieve the assigned duties through research, guidance and clarification from my supervisor. Also, getting support from VI zoom sessions, internship success advisors emails, coaching calls and my institution instructor.

The host company supervisor was very helpful and always available when needed even for urgent matters and always showed appreciation when work is progressing and inform immediately where there is mistake and a suggestion to correct.

In conclusion, I had a very great experience with Virtual internship program and I highly recommend that students take the program. It is such an amazing global exposure of which I'm extremely inspired and wish to have a permanent remote job.

You have to pay to work! and they don't tell you until the end

Internships for many students are the very start of our careers, which makes them incredibly important and valuable. Unfortunately, for most of us, the financial means to pay more than 1,000 euros for a platform that promises to help us find one is simply unrealistic. I cannot recommend this website at all because the logic behind it does not make sense. We invest our time and energy filling out every part of the application, completing all the steps, expecting that this service will actually help us, and then at the very end, we are asked to pay an exorbitant fee. You are dealing with students, many of whom are just starting out, and this approach feels far beyond reasonable, it feels like a scam. It is clear that the priority here is not helping students launch their careers but simply making money, otherwise, how can the payment process and the 1,000 euro fee be justified. Whoever decided on the pricing for this website should reconsider their perspective. Perhaps spending some time with actual students and understanding the realities of their financial situations and struggles would help put things into context. I personally had six or seven friends who were genuinely interested in using this service. I was the first to complete the application process, only to realize at the end that it was completely unreasonable to expect anyone to pay such a high amount. Everyone else immediately backed out for the same reason. I sincerely hope the team behind this platform can take a step back and consider being a little more human, understanding, and supportive of students who are eager to kickstart their careers but do not have the means to pay these kinds of fees. Making education and career opportunities accessible should be the priority, not creating unnecessary financial barriers that prevent motivated young people from pursuing their goals.

Hello, I have joined VI through my learning platform(E-careers), which has promised me that I will get complete knowledge of my course, practical, and technical skills. After qualifying in my course as an AWS Solution Architect Associate, I was referred to as an AWS DevOps intern by the VI team. It was completely disappointing. I have lost my money, my time, and my extreme hope for having a good job. There is no company, only a single person experimenting with some domain hosting and websites. No team, no senior, or any mentor for guidance or sharing knowledge. When I contacted the VI team regarding this, they replied as "You have to study yourself if you want to have experience in a particular field". If I have to study myself, why would I have chosen you?

Clearly, they are scammers, fraudsters, showing some kindness and honesty before, but later they will deceive you.

My best suggestion is to move on with some subscription videos online, study by yourself, or buy some books. In regards with internship experience, look for some companies that are real and can offer an internship at no cost. Please don't invest money in such cheap people who are fooling you.

This has not only happened with me, but all my colleagues studied with @E-careers and my friends selected @Virtual internship to gain experince.

I went through the whole application process, recorded videos, etc, only to then find out for the first time that there is a price of $1,475 to get an internship. It would have been nice if that was disclosed before I went through all the trouble.
And typically if you want internships you are still at school and don't really have that kind of money.
