The cost and lack of human interaction
Customer would rather interact with a human being from UK and not AI or automated form filling. Even if there was option to complete a renewal online or with a customer services agent.

The online form is a nightmare ,its so complicated to someone who's never owned a boat before ,some of the questions are really hard to answer if you don't know what they are asking about ,plus there is no phone number to contact anyone for help

Visicover offered a very competitive quote for the cover that I wanted.
Although contact is all done via email they were always quick to respond.
When storm Ingrid came along and the unfortunate happened making a claim was simple and straightforward, I was looked after very efficiently by one person as my point of contact who followed the process through to the end.
