We are incredibly grateful that VivaPets ships to Slovakia. For us, this is genuinely important, because in our region (Eastern Europe), the same veterinary diet food is often replaced by products manufactured in Poland, and unfortunately we have repeatedly noticed a very clear difference in quality.
Our dog is extremely sensitive and after comparing the French-made version with the Polish-made version of the same food (Hypoallergenic royal canin), the difference is obvious even physically:
- the French kibble is denser and more compact
- it has a natural oily/fatty coating on the surface
- it feels richer and more substantial
- it keeps our dog full and satisfied for much longer
The Polish version, on the other hand, felt much drier, much more porous and “puffed”, almost like empty sponge/polystyrene inside. Our dog became hungry again very quickly after eating it, her digestion was clearly worse, and it simply did not seem to nourish her in the same way.
For owners of sensitive dogs, these differences matter a lot. This is not just about preference, it can have a real impact on digestion, satiety and overall well-being.
Thank you, VivaPets, for making it possible to access the French version and for shipping to Slovakia. For pet owners like us, this truly makes a huge difference.
