Sadly I couldn't get this to work. It was billed as resource for being able to take a recorded script and turn it into a video.
I followed the instructions, uploaded the MP3 and tried 3 times at different times of the work day. Each time, after spooling through 10% done / 30% / 60% / 90%, etc, I then got a message: "AI Failed - Currently AI server is busy. Please try again later."
Disappointing.

Support was fantastic and product works really well, when I had an issue 3 engineers jumped on a call, in the end it was user (my) error.
I wanted to try Vmaker to make creating Instagram Reels and TikToks easier. My plan was to upload longer videos and let the AI decide which parts were good, then clip them together into a shorter video of all the best parts. This is exactly what the Highlight function claims to do, but since Highlights aren’t included in the free plan, I decided to subscribe for a month and test it out.
Sadly, I was very disappointed. Most of the time it wouldn’t even let me upload the video, and when it finally accepted the upload, the Highlight function didn’t work as intended. I asked it to make short videos of around 20–40 seconds, but every time I tried, it produced much longer videos—1 or even 2 minutes.
I requested a refund from Vmaker as soon as i realised that the Highlight function didn't work and explained the problem. They told me they couldn’t issue a refund because of their no-refund policy. That’s fair enough, but when I pointed out that the Highlight function didn’t work, they told me I could just adjust the clips manually… HELLO!!! That defeats the whole purpose of using AI! If I ask the AI to cut the video into a 20–30 second clip, it should not return a 2-minute video and then expect me to finish the job manually.
The program might be fine for auto captions, but not much else. Unfortunately, the customer service was very disappointing.
Vmaker is very easy to use and convenient for screen and tab recording! If you encounter any issues, the support team provides excellent assistance, and can help resolve technical issues as well. 5 out of 5, would recommend!
My experience with Vmaker has been excellent. It’s a very intuitive SaaS platform that allows you to record your screen, generate videos using artificial intelligence, and edit them easily—all from your browser. The interface is clear, and there’s no need to install anything complicated. I’ve used Vmaker for both creating tutorials and work presentations, and I’m always impressed by how quickly I can record, trim, and share videos.
The feature to record both the screen and webcam at the same time has been very useful, adding a professional touch to my content. Additionally, the AI-powered automatic subtitles save a lot of time during editing. I also appreciate the variety of options to share videos: direct link, download, or integration with other platforms.
In summary, Vmaker covers practically all my needs for recording and editing videos efficiently and professionally, without requiring advanced technical knowledge. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a complete and easy-to-use solution.
