Oh no they're not. What a pile of shite. Been having trouble with Vodafone throttling my broadband speed for months won't admit it though. Now today 13.10.2025, the whole f ing lots gone down. Working from home, so had to go into the office, lost 2 hours pay. Can't wait to leave these losers.

Shutting down your home internet requires going through the seven circles of hell. Why can't this be done at a service center? You bring in the equipment after using it for more than 12 months, accept it, and close the account. But then the fun begins—they're supposed to call you. They call you, but they give you no useful information about closing the account. Then it turns out your account hasn't been closed, and for some reason you still have to pay automatically for 77 days. Customer support sends me to the store where I disconnected my internet connection, and so on, repeating the process. You drive around, call, and no one can explain anything. You're already without equipment and still paying for internet. The result is to wait again for a call to close the Internet.

Since there’s no option for zero stars, I gave one star. One of the worst in terms of service, with poor app development and misleading customers through false advertising. I’ve been a Vodafone customer since 2015, but I will not recommend them anymore, it’s time to move on.

We used this company for home internet. The internet was satisfactory. The customer service was not. When I called in a few months ago about a speed issue the agent was telling me the account was not under my name and they could not help me. Went in store and they confirmed it was and they helped. Customer service center was useless.
Then I wanted to disconnect service on a certain date. They disconnected 5 days earlier. When I called I had different answers to my questions from each person I spoke to. They also told me they would have someone call me multiple times and I never received a call. They just lied and lied. No one knows what the policies are and they just read from scripts over and over. They could all be replaced by AI and it would be an improvement
Vodafone recharge dispute
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding an unjustified deduction from my balance following a recharge made on 28/07/2025.
I recharged 10 Qatari Riyals, and within 10 minutes, 7 QAR was deducted from my balance without any valid reason or notification. I immediately contacted your customer service, and the agent initially provided vague IT-related technical justifications that did not make sense.
After a long discussion, the agent finally acknowledged the issue and assured me that the 7 QAR would be reversed within 48 hours. However, this situation is highly frustrating and raises concerns about transparency and reliability in your billing system.

Vodafone is the most useless, careless, and incompetent company I’ve ever dealt with. They should not even be allowed to operate. Here’s why:
• Zero coverage in places where every other provider works fine.
• Internet? More like “inter-NOT.”
• Customer service = non-existent. No one cares, no one helps.
• They steal your money. Extra charges for nothing. You complain — they do NOTHING.
• Their app is a glitchy disaster. Website? Useless. Billing? A joke.
• Not enough options and offers on packages, they took too much charges on mobile services.
If you want to waste your money, time, and sanity, Vodafone is perfect for you.
I will warn EVERYONE I know to stay far away from this disaster of a company.

Agent told me that there is a one month trial period, and when I asked for disconnection customer service told me that there is no trial period. I feel like they are looting money giving misinformations. Never trust Vodafone. they say anything for giving connection after that they changes.
Vodafone Qatar: Denied Cancellation, Unfair Charges
I cancelled my Vodafone Qatar postpaid account in-store on 12 June 2025, with a confirmed cancellation date of 30 June 2025. I followed up again by phone and email on 25 June 2025.
As per Qatar regulations, a postpaid account cannot remain active without a valid Qatar ID (QID). My QID was canceled on 24 June 2025, and Vodafone should have closed my account accordingly.
Despite this, Vodafone refused to cancel my account and is attempting to charge me for a renewed plan I neither used nor agreed to.
Their correspondence has involved deliberate delay tactics that are dishonest and unethical. I have escalated this matter to senior management and Qatar’s Communications Regulatory Authority.

I have been experiencing an ongoing internet issue at my home despite paying 400 QAR monthly for fiber service. I’ve called support several times, and even visited a Vodafone branch to complain, but no technician has been sent, and the issue persists.
This level of service is unacceptable and not worth the price I’m paying. My internet has been off in my room for days, and I am seriously considering switching providers once my contract ends.

Having customer care that doesn’t genuinely value customers only leads to frustration. If you’re willing to endure it, the network may trap you first and leave you disappointed. It’s best not to rely on promises about timeframes for resolving issues, even when they acknowledge and understand your complaint.
Pathetic Customer Service
If I could give them a 0 score I would have. Their customer service is pathetic. If they ambush you with a 1 month free broadband trial send them away. I have now been trying unsuccessfully for 3 days to cancel the “free” trial. There is always a new reason and excuse why they cannot cancel the service. The so called customer service at the branch told me to call a phone number. I visited the branch in Villagio Mall 4 times already. When I called the number, they referred me back to the branch. May I never have to deal with this pathetic outfit again. Stay away from them.

Absolutely terrible! stick with ooredoo no matter how tempting their offers maybe. They are cheaper as they lack quality, customer service and basics! I am still waiting to hear back about my complaint 2+ months later, I get calls from different people asking me what the issue is, I now refuse to go over this again as it is mentally draining. I have now reported them to ministry of telecommunications as I refuse to pay for a service i did not receive. They are ignoring my emails also. Beware with purchasing any electronic products from Vodafone Qatar. Their policy does not allow any exchange or refund once you opened the packaging even when not using the device and having all the receipts intact.

Vodafone has disconnected my service without any prior notice knowing that all bills are cleared and I have been a customer for over 9 years. Vodafone customer care team is just a waste of time as they not at all qualified to handle issues instead transfer calls, put you on hold for a long time or just say wait for 24 to 72 hrs where nothing changes. concern was so critical that i am on uae for a business visit and my no. gets suspended with no reason. Took a flex plan with Vodafone back in 2018. Then they were the best. Covid came and things went down hill. The staff would frequently call and claim the flex plan I was on doesn't exist I need to upgrade. Since I didn't want to move to oreddoo I would agree to it. Fast forward 2024 same call only this time they changed me to post paid extra but to my knowledge I'm still on flex plan since this time I didn't agree. In a month I get billed 2. I have raised the complaint but the customer service don't seem to have training at all to handle anything let alone explain.
