Do not use them for renovations
We engaged Vondel Projects BV to renovate a large house in Amsterdam, and the experience has been a significant financial and professional disappointment. Years later, we are still dealing with the consequences of their poor workmanship and lack of accountability.
Key issues during and after the project:
Heating System (CV): The system had to be installed three separate times because the crews were unable to complete it correctly. Despite my repeated attempts to have management rectify the situation, each attempt resulted in further errors.
Poor Material Quality: A few years into living in the property, fixtures and fittings are failing throughout the house. It appears that high costs did not translate to high-quality materials.
Property Damage: We recently had a floor specialist inspect our wooden floors. They commented specifically on the extensive damage caused by the team at Vondel Projects when they originally treated the wood.
It is rare to see this level of persistent technical failure on a high-value project. If you are looking for a firm that stands by its work and values professional standards, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere. We are still suffering the fallout of choosing this company.
