Very disappointing service. The policy sounds comprehensive, but when you actually make a claim, the small print is used to decline it. They refused to pay anything towards my cancelled airport hotel prior to my cancelled flight. I would not recommend them.

I submitted a claim seven weeks ago and have received zero communication from the claims team, no acknowledgement, no request for further information, nothing. The policy documents look reasonable, but be aware that actually getting a claim handled is a very different experience.

This is definitely the worst insurance company. They have great policy documents which would make you believe you are covered, but once you make a claim they use every fine print to not pay out even a penny for a cancelled flight. Avoid at all costs!!

A change in medical circumstances resulted in them cancelling my policy but no refund.
A scam of a company.

Stay well clear of Wanda travel insurance. I submitted a claim almost 3 weeks ago and it still shows I have no submitted claims on the website. Tried calling the contact number on the website also for an update and the number is not recognised. This is a genuine review. I have no idea how they are recommended by comparison sites when buying insurance. We paid £77 for a joint insurance with them which is a complete waste of money and the money we've lost due to flight cancellations when we were away seems to be lost also with not using a good insurance company.

I love my yearly travel insurance with Wanda by avios, well priced with lots of perks! 10GB yearly eSIM, 3000 avios welcome bonus, Gym class passes, flightdelay compensation, etc and I hope to never need to use the emergency medical assistance, but as I could not find who was providing the assistance for this policy anywhere I called the assistance number and simply asked. They picked up the phone really quick, which is a good sign. The medical assistance is provided by CEGA, which they are a good and legitimate assistance company with good reputation. Could not be happier. Don't be scared by bad reviews as people only post online their bad experiences or only go online to complain. I know this first hand as I work for another assistance company myself.

This company is a total scam.

They got a website selling insurance policies.

But it seems, there's nobody behind it? They claim to be associated with avios? And the underwriter is ? CEGA is part of the Charles Taylor Group?

They have no customer service, you can't contact them, they offer zero support.

People BEWARE. If you buy a policy with them you're buying air.

So, I got insurance with Wanda by Avios.

Stay away from this!

They literally, don't answer anything. There's no way to contact them, and their claims never get solved.

Stay away from this insurance company.

I've had a claim with them for 3 months.
I've got zero updates, zero communication, just nothing at all. I'm going to submit a formal complaint against them.
