If you're lucky you can tuck these away in a cupboard where they can operate unseen to do what they do with very little input from the user. In truth the unit is quite a big lump but we were lucky in that our installer was able to fit it under the stairs where we wanted it so, out of sight out of mind.
Having said all that the unit just gets on with it producing lovely soft water, so pleased we had it fitted.

The plumber replaced an existing water softener but had a few problems with connecting to the existing pipe work which I found surprising.

Great devices, and very good customer service especially from Kayleigh who has been very helpful as we've started our water softner and reverse osmosis system journey with Wash Water!

Helpful and informative

The equipment was neat and worked to give us soft water and drinking water. Wash Water helped us choose a plumber to install our water softener who was excellent. We were led to believe that installing a water softener in our home would be difficult given where the mains water came into the house. However, our plumber George, was able to give us options to make this possible with minimum disruption. The cost of this whole process was fair and lower than we had previously been quoted by another company. We are very happy customers.

So far, so good for the moment. Easy to install and working perfectly. We tested the water for a few days in a row to see if it reached the right hardness. There is a big difference when I use the shower now. My hair used to be dull and difficult to detangle, but now it is much softer and hydrated. The same happens with the skin. Also, the price and technology are outstanding compared to the well-known, expensive ones that rely heavily on marketing but are not necessarily better.

I want to test it for longer to make sure this first impression remains consistent.

We purchased a Wash softener after originally buying another brands who advertise a 7 year warranty (turns out that company you have to get it serviced every year to get that warranty).

The Wash softener so far has been great. We’ve notice a great improvement to our water. Very efficient on salt usage and the large salt storage is great as well only need to check it once a month.

We purchased the nice retro looking tap on recommendation. The reason for purchasing was really to avoid the use of a kettle due to the power usage. However, I do find this particular model not great for making cups of tea. It doesn't appear to get hot enough of the tea bag to react enough with the temperature of the water.

The Wash Washer we had fitted was to replace a Monarch which we had for 9 years. The Wash Water suffered after it was installed with water leaks which took our plumber/installer 2 attempt to rectify. The reason was that the incorrect fitting was supplied initially with unit. The water badly damaged our kitchen cabinet, which will need to be replaced at some stage. The other issue you are having is the salt tablets (3/4"dia) we are using do not settle to the bottom of the unit as it functions.

A nice water softener ,easy to install and very efficient salt usage. We've run it for 6 months now and can't believe how little salt it has used!

Very pleased with the water softener, which replaced a previous one, about 15 years old, made by the same people. Worth noting that their guarantee does not require the equipment to be serviced annually unlike another well known brand. With pipework already in place it was easy to install it myself.

Pleased with our choice of water softener which does a good job of removing the high concentrations of lime scale in our particular area. Their recommended installer did a good job. So all in all very happy with our purchase & service provided.

A trouble free installation. Very happy with results, water very soft and no need to use as much soap and detergent, so a win all round.

since installation the limescale deposits in my kettle have virtually disappeared. Very pleased .

I’ve only had this water softener a month and so far it’s been excellent. The difference with my bath water and washing machine is noticeable with silky soft water, I’ve had to get used to using less shampoo, washing detergent etc… but now I have it’s proving to be good economically all round. Cleaning is easier too, not having to use harsh limescale removing products

Great brand, so good with cleaning and bathing. You can see difference in water with and without water softener.

We needed a replacement water softener which would fit inside the cupboard under the kitchen sink. There are very few available this size. Our plumber did the research and identified this WashWater unit. It is performing very satisfactorily. Happy with the result.
