Water Babies Reviews 

I have been taking my child swimming from 7 months old (2 yrs now) and the lessons have helped in so many ways. Worth it for the pool safety alone. It can seem expensive before you start but after the first lesson I knew it was worth it. My child hated water and now she loves it and this is due to Water Babies. Claire our teacher is amazing and a credit to the company. Recommend to all babies, you wont regret it!

We have been doing these lessons since our little one was 3 months and we love the classes. They are so engaging and fun, you learn loads through play and song and its amazing to see how confident my son is in the water now. The skills he's learned are brilliant and you build on these each week... me and my husband love the classes. We fight over who gets to do them with him! Denise is brilliant!

We absolutely love the content of the lessons and the teachers are warm and enthusiastic! The skills our child has learnt so far have been invaluable and we are very grateful the investment in these skills.

I would just like to say that this is such a great place to start your child’s swimming journey.

My daughter is five years old, and thanks to her teachers, but especially her most recent teacher, Craig, she has made enormous steps forward — leaps, I should say. She is now swimming lengths of the pool on both her front and back, which is something we are incredibly proud of.

I would like to express my gratitude to the whole team and to Craig himself. The progress she has made has been truly amazing. In fact, after today’s lesson, my daughter went up to Craig and told him that he is the best teacher. Nobody prompted her to say that — she simply recognises what a fantastic teacher he is and how much he has helped her.

It is a real pleasure to be part of Water Babies in Charlton, and we feel very fortunate that our daughter has been able to learn with Craig. Thank you for all the hard work, encouragement, and enthusiasm you bring to every lesson. It really does make a difference.

Great sessions. Really well thought. Kate, the teacher is amazing! You can tell that she loves her job and she definitely loves babies.
Truly recommend water babies classes.

We’ve been doing water babies with our daughter now for over 2.5yrs and watching her confidence in the water grow has been amazing!
Not only that, she has learnt water safety skills which are so important. The teachers are lovely and the lessons have a slight structure to them, so the children know what to expect. They’re half hour long, so they don’t lose focus during the lesson or get cold. I now have a 3 month old who I will also be signing up soon.

We have our lessons at Chapel Row with Suzan. She is lovely with the little babies, super gentle and always checking they’re alright. Her classes are so much fun, and our swimming lessons are the highlight of our week!

Our instructor, Jackie, is awesome! She is the highlight. The pool is also lovely (and warm).
Otherwise, lessons are frequently cancelled, the changing room is grubby and often not well equipped for babies. Catch up lessons are nigh impossible to arrange and there is little empathy from office staff.

My little one has been swimming with Water Babies since he was 6 weeks old. It has made him so confident, his coordination is really good for his age and he recognises some sign language (as these are apart of his lessons). I wouldn’t take him anywhere else! Also it is really convenient if i have holiday as the parent portal is really easy to use and to book a catch up for a day that’s convenient for me. Everyone on the team is so friendly and helpful they can’t do enough, thank you so much !

We love water babies and have been using them since my son was 3 months old and he is 3 years now. Katherine is great with my son and he loves his lessons with her. The only downfall is that they are the most expensive lessons in the area. We just find it hard to leave because of Katherine and her rapport with my son. Office staff are always quick to respond to queries and helpful and polite. Again, it would be great if we didn’t have to ask for the swim badges at each stage and they were handed to us at the lessons or posted out without having to ask.

Claire, our instructor, is amazing. She is wonderful with my twins and takes the time to ensure every child and parent have understood the task etc

Emily is great ! The children adore her ! Waterbabies is very exspensive compared to another local swim lesson provider, however I feel that Emily does provide that level of teaching that I don’t feel we would get from another class. If however, we were to loose Emily I feel the other aspects of waterbabies such as pricing, poor facilities at the brainwave centre (having to park in a near by muddy layby and cross a very busy road whilst trying to carry a baby/ small child ( sometimes in the rain) , hairdryers, shower facilities, changing facilities may lead to us looking for another provider. I don’t feel the price per lesson reflects the standard of facilities at brainwave but does currently reflect the level of Emily’s instruction.

Is very good training team, we are very happy for attitude for our child. Thank you!

Staff is very pacient and well trained

I normally dont leave reviews my child enjoys waterbabies hes been attending since he was 9 months old jenny has been great. They thing i am disappointed is sometimes my payment is late which can happen for a number of reasons but the emails i get arent overall nice the last one i got wasnt very nice they said they would remove my child from the class!! even no i emailed them and explained!!

We started swimming when my daughter was 4 months old, and she loves it. She’s so confident in the water, loves the songs and loves our instructor. Life skill

My baby started at 8 weeks and initially struggled a lot in the water. My instructor, Lucy, was patient and understanding and really made me feel comfortable as a very new mum that a baby crying and taking a while to get used to the lessons is totally normal. Water babies is the most well thought out, brilliant programme and I absolutely love it. My little girl doesn’t cry at all now and is brilliant in the water, getting better week on week. Lucy takes the time to check in and make sure everybody is comfortable. She explains everything so well. I would recommend water babies to absolutely anybody. It’s the best thing I have ever done, the best money I have ever spent and the most worthwhile thing to do.

Honestly, we love our weekly swim lessons. Our daughter is 6 months old now and we’ve been going since 8 weeks. She’s improving leaps and bounds and I’m not sure who enjoys it more me or her! Lorna is a fabulous tutor!
