Hello! Let us tell you how the process is set out.
Every time you launch a search, we collect information from our partners, and in turn they request information from the global booking system.
Airlines and agencies send requests for identical parameters once every 30-60 minutes.
For example, if someone recently searched for the exact same ticket just before you, agencies will have requested this information, saved it in their cache, sent it to us, and we’ll then show it to you in turn.
When you head over to the seller’s website to buy your ticket, the seller must make another request to the global booking system. By this point all tickets at the given fare may have been bought up, which is why you might see a different price.
The global booking system is too large and contains too much data for it to be possible to update its information in real time. Within around an hour the ticket information should update itself.
Either a new price will be shown in the search results, or the ticket will disappear from sale.
We usually recommend trying to buy the ticket from a different seller. You can choose a different agency under the price in the search results. If the problem persists with other sellers too, choose a different ticket.
Another reason could be that the seller added additional services (insurance, etc.) to your order by default. Simply remove what you don’t need.
By the way, agencies aren’t allowed to add anything by default when you’re redirected to their websites from our search engine. If this happens, please let us know.
The final possible reason could be that the price was updated while you were filling in your passport or payment details.

Just booked my hotel in Chicago for one week for US$1,065 and got back $106, so in the end I made back the entire amount I spent on Plus. Very excited to use WayAway for future travels!

A convenient app for finding flights
A convenient app for finding flights. It offered me lower prices than I found elsewhere.
I haven't had the chance to try their subscription yet but it seems like it could well pay off given all the cashback on flights, hotels, etc. Will give it a go on my next trip.
