I’ve just arrived home from 3 months training at Sauze d’Oulx and received my IASI level 1and 2. I made memories to last a lifetime and had an unforgettable experience, the level of training provided by Emily was top class and made every session enjoyable. The village was one of the best resorts I have ever visited and I am currently planning a trip back there for next year. I was slightly nervous when I first arrived but with the help of my program manager Aisha I quickly came out of my shell and thrived in the experience. If you are thinking about it, do it! It’s the best thing I have ever done.

I had a great experience with WEARESNO. Oscar and Taz were incredibly professional, welcoming, and always ready to help, making the transition smooth and enjoyable. Their hospitality really stood out, and they created a great atmosphere both on and off the slopes.

The accommodation, however, was not ideal—sharing a room with eight people was quite cramped. That said, being right on the mountain was a huge plus, making it easy to socialise in the evening and get first tracks in the morning.

If you’re looking for a well-organised program with great support from the reps and don’t mind a bit of a squeeze in the living space, WEARESNO at SilverStar is a solid choice!

It’s amazing how seeing one WeAreSno advertisement can completely change your journey and further enhance your experience, achievements and outlook on travelling!
I still remember the day when my father showed me one of the WeAreSno adverts that popped up on his instagram and in a light hearted tone suggested that this might be the sort of adventure I was looking for… fast forward a few days when I still couldn’t shift the thought I took a proper look into WeAreSno and the potential opportunity that lay ahead.
From the initial request to speak with someone on the WeAreSno team to find out more, right through to meeting the team in Kelowna Airport (Canada) and boarding a coach to Silverstar Mountain the support throughout has been exceptional!!
The WeAreSno course conductors (Oscar and Taz) have organised many social events for the group (such as going to ice hockey games, movie nights, dinners etc.) and from the very start had a great influence over the group camaraderie. They also organised transport for those who needed it in times of desperation or distress and helped develop our ski skills in situations where people were not well enough to attend training and felt underprepared for upcoming exams.
In regards to the skiing, teaching and training I have thoroughly enjoyed the whole process and made some amazing memories along the way🔥. Now that exams are over I’m a little disappointed that training is also over as I truly loved it!
There are so many positive things I could say about this experience… however if your in the boat I was and reading these reviews while contemplating whether or not you should take that leap of faith and decide your going to go for it, ask yourself this… are you more likely to regret taking a rogue opportunity that could open doors and shine light on ideas you’re currently not aware of, or “playing it safe” and never knowing what might have come of it or what you might have gained?
For me that feeling of never knowing would have been too hard to shake and looking back I’m so proud I made that leap of faith, it came with sacrifices but the rewards I’ve gained are much greater!

The WEARESNO team are amazing. Super welcoming and extremely helpful making the whole process from sorting out visas to arriving in Canada appear seamless.

The vibe at Le Massif is incredible, our program managers, Eli and Oli (despite being snowboarders - booo ;) ) made an effort to get to know us. They showed us round the resort and the surrounding area taking us bowling etc. They went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly for training and starting work. I couldn’t recommend WEARESNO enough, I don’t know where you could get a similar level of service.

I would highly recommend We Are Sno for anyone looking to take the hassle out of becoming qualified and working in the ski industry. From arriving in Japan to starting our jobs, everything had been organised behind the scenes. Plus, anything needing to be arranged ourselves beforehand was thoroughly explained to us, with the team on-hand to help us out.
The We Are Sno team were fantastic. The programme managers genuinely made the effort to get to know us, helping us out during training, but staying available to us even now that we’re employed. This created a super supportive environment, allowing us to focus on getting to know the other trainees and enjoying the skiing, rather than having to worry about the process. I’ve had an absolute blast, and would encourage anyone looking for a great ski experience in Japan to go with We Are Sno.

From arriving in Quebec City, to now teaching skiing at the Le Massif resort, this experience has been everything I wanted and more. The days prior and throughout our ski training were structured and planned with lots of activities in the nearby areas. Our We Are Sno guide (Elijah) took us to bowling events, sporting games and spa retreats, to enjoy as a group as we got to know each other. The whole process of acquiring our certifications, bank accounts, and settling into our appartments was very easy as it was heavily assisted by We Are Sno, allowing us to avoid any struggles. Overall, I can confidently say for myself and the others I’ve spoken to on this trip, that we have all enjoyed our time so far, and are looking forward to the remaining months of the season. This experience is perfect for anyone who has a passion for travelling and/or skiing.

Perfect introduction to the ski industry. They provided us with world class trainers to get us ready for our level 1 & 2 exams. We were also supported well with visas, accommodation, and employment once we were qualified. Japan is an incredible place to do this course, lot of powder and downtime to experience it. I would say to anyone looking to do a WeAreSno season, do it, it’s incredibly fun, but also don’t expect the experience to be close to break-even or profitable with the course fees.

I've thoroughly enjoyed my Ski Instructor Internship with We Are Snow. The business has taken every care to make this whole experience as comprehensive and enjoyable as possible. Guidance on everything from visa applications to equipment has been first rate and our PM's on the course (Kerry and Rhys) were brilliant mentors and friends across the training period and now colleagues as fellow qualified instructors.

I chose to do the Niseko Village Programme and I'm thoroughly impressed with the size and infrastructure of the resort. I look forward to making the most of the full season with guaranteed work and a great group of friends!

We Are Sno made our journey from Level 1 training to soon-to-be Level 2 instructors an absolute breeze! From visa help to landing guaranteed jobs, they had us covered every step of the way. The crew was super supportive and made the whole experience fun and exciting. If you’re up for an epic adventure or a career in snow sports, these legends are the way to go!

WE ARE SNO are simply the best at what they do.

I enrolled on the Niseko course for the 23/24 season. In the months leading up to the course starting, I received regular communication from the team, guiding us through all processes needed to get to Japan. Whenever I had an issue, I would have a phone call within a few hours helping with exactly what I needed.

The course was well organised, and the guaranteed job offer at Niseko Village Snow School made for the most memorable season I could ask for.

I met many instructors who had encountered numerous issues with other companies that provide instructor courses. I had no such issues with WE ARE SNO. As above, they are quite simply the best in the business at a very fair price.

I can't recommend them enough, and I can't wait for next season in Japan.

After 10 weeks of training in Zermatt to reach BASI level 2, I started working for Summit Ski School.
I have improved my skiing a lot, and have opened the door to future seasons anywhere in the world.
Overall, I had a great experience with WeAreSno, in which Dave played no small part. He was always ready to assist with any issues, took us on great dinners and is overall a great guy.
Would definitely recommend any one to do a ski season at least once in their life

I was on the course starting in November and have had the time of my life. Everything from the skiing to the social aspect of this course is fantastic. Over the 10 week course I learned how to ski technically, and was offered a job at Summit Ski School, the school that does our training. Throughout the course Daddy Dave took us out to some amazing dinner spots three days a week, and was helpful with any logistical or skiing questions. After having lived in Zermatt for the last 5 months, I will leave with so many amazing memories and new friends, both through the course and from working. 10/10 would recommend this course to anyone, whether or not it’s you’re life’s goal to become a ski instructor.

Dave is the man. It would not have been the same without him. I recently came back from the BASI 1 and 2 course in Zermatt and it was a fantastic experience. Although it is a little bit more expensive than other courses I would 100% recommend as it is an incredible resort with amazing skiing, great nightlife and (as I mentioned before) you get Dave. Training most days for almost 3 months with expert trainers is a great experience and makes you feel like an expert yourself by the time it finishes. The course provides everything you need to be a ski instructor and, even if you don't have an EU passport to stay on with the company, you can take the expertise and qualifications back home to instruct in an indoor slope - this is what I have done. Adrian was also super helpful with injuries issues I had before I went out on the course and with picking out skis appropriate for the course, so WeAreSno really do try to make the course as flexible as they can to cater for individual needs. Only thing that would have made it better is if I could take Dave back with me but oh well.

I had a great experience and I would encourage anybody to go with WeAreSno.

It was truly an incredible experience! I thoroughly enjoyed every moment, successfully completing my level 1 and 2 NZSIA certifications. The once-in-a-lifetime experiences I had were unforgettable, and the friendships I made added so much to the journey. Everything just fell into place so easily. Japan was a dream to explore, with everything running smoothly and the locals in furano being so welcoming. It made the whole experience even more incredible! The accommodation was top-notch! Being right next to the mountain was so convenient and made it super easy to hit the slopes whenever I wanted. Definitely recommend. 😁

I did an instructor intern program at silverstar this season through wearesno. It’s been great, I’ve met so many wonderful people and I can’t wait to be back for next winter! The training for the level 1&2 CSIA exams was great, my skiing and teaching improved loads. Wearesno also have two awesome reps, Taz and Oscar who both also work in the ski school, they’ve been a huge help throughout the season as they know the ski school inside and out already.

Just completed a season at SilverStar through WeAreSno. The assistance with the obtaining visa was very helpful.

Arriving in Canada we were greeted by Taz and Oscar who have been amazing all season; helping us with everything we could possibly need. There was a really solid cohort and everyone got on really well. I’ve made some great friends this season.

The training for both the level 1 & 2 qualifications was stellar and really got me ready for what is expected from a CSIA instructor.

SilverStar was in a managerial transition this year and I’m really excited to see how the resort grows because there’s some really great people in charge!

I’ll be coming back to SilverStar next season with a level 2 qualification, a wealth of ski knowledge, a bunch of mates and a lot of gratitude to WEARESNO for making it all possible.

Great experience all round in the le massif ski resort in Canada. WEARESNO were loads of help with everything before getting to Canada (visa, equipment, etc) and that helped make a stressful process really easy. Once in Canada they were awesome aswell - mainly through our great programme managers Eliza and Eli, but especially early on while everyone was new and getting to know eachother.

The experience was awesome, people were great and I got to ski as a job so not a lot more you could ask for.

After over a year of waiting WE ARE SNO made it happen thanks to Adrian. A trip to Canada at Silver Star Resort, Embarking on a journey to become a certified ski instructor was both a thrilling and rewarding experience. Throughout the course, I gained invaluable knowledge, honed my skiing skills, and forged lasting ski buddies with fellow course members from all over the world.

The instructors leading the course were seasoned professionals with a wealth of experience in both skiing and teaching. Taz and Oscar who have a passion for the sport was palpable, and their dedication to helping us succeed was unwavering.

One of the highlights of the course was the extensive on-snow training although sadly snow conditions weren't favourable. The varied terrain and snow conditions. Whether practicing basic manoeuvres on groomed runs or tackling challenging slopes off-piste, each session offered valuable insights and opportunities for improvement. Moreover, the camaraderie among classmates fostered a supportive learning environment where we encouraged and motivated each other to excel.

Participating in the ski instructor course was a transformative experience. Going out of my comfort zone learning more about myself. I don't regret my decisions money worth it!

We were glad to have We Are Sno as residents in our seasonal accommodations for the last two winters. We have a Program Manager and 7 or 8 instructors in residence, and they keep the rooms clean and are great, respective tenants for our property. We even receive comments from the community about the caliber of this group (RED is a small place!). Adrian is our main point of contact to coordinate the logistics. He is super responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Thanks We Are Sno!

Thank you We Are Sno for an amazing season and experience in the Furano base. Well organised and great accommodation location with it being right next to the resort ski lifts, couldn't have asked for anything better!! Got to meet many amazing people and made lifelong connections. Got to improve heavily in my snowboarding skills and honestly one of the best experiences in my lifetime!! Thanks Jordan, Ed and Adrian for all the support and amazing experience!! 😁
