Completed a season in Niseko, Japan! The whole package was amazingly orchestrated by the WE ARE SNO team.
- The whole process was transparent and easy to understand
- The entire season, from preseason to training to working at the ski school, was seamless
- Supervisors were knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming - they were always happy to help out wherever they could, and provided a great environment for the cohort
- The level of training provided was incredibly useful for both my riding and teaching skillset
- The support team was always open and willing to help and accommodate any requests

What an experience this trip was! Wearesno made the whole process so easy and simple from the initial application to arriving in Zermatt. They send you all the relevant info such as what exactly is included and advice on what to bring to make you feel as stress free as possible beforehand. Big shout out to Adrian for answering my many questions prior to the trip and Dave who looked after us in Zermatt for the whole trip and answered any worries we may have had along the way. Dave arranged 3 meals out a week for us as well as different activities to explore Zermatt. I got to meet some fantastic people and make some life long friends along the way. What a great opportunity to try something new and get out of your comfort zone. You won’t regret it!

WeAreSno has been nothing short of an incredibly fun, kind and professional team. I have made some life long friends during the course and I had an awesome time. I couldn’t recommend it more highly to anyone, especially those career breakers like myself looking for something a little different to do- you won’t regret it!

I've just reached the half-way point of the We Are Sno course here in Furano, Japan and couldn't be happier with the experience so far!

The quality of our trainers has far exceeded any expectations I had; it really feels like we've been given the best of the best and it shows in how far my skiing has come. The structure of the course has ensured everyone was well prepared for our exams, and heading into our level 2 qualifications, we've had a good balance of training, time off to explore the area and paid work experience teaching real clients to ski!

We have the freedom to live the season we want to live, but always have access to support from our programme manager and the wider We Are Sno team if we need.

Compared to what I've heard from similar programmes, We Are Sno has provided us with some of the best accommodation money can buy. We have the building to ourselves, so it's made it really easy to feel comfortable around the house and form a little family with my course-mates. Not to mention we live less than a minute's walk away from the gondola!

I'd recommend this course to anyone looking to have an amazing season working as an instructor, meeting some great people and improving your skiing or snowboarding to the highest of standards!

I just completed the Zermatt WEARENO ski instructor course and I could not recommend enough. The quality and standard of training we received was incredible and not only transformed my own skiing but also facilitated 100% of us on the course to pass the BASI level 2 exam. The accommodation in Tasch is great (only a 10 min shuttle into Zermatt) with each of us having our own room and access to a spa facility. Zermatt has lots to offer in terms of apres/bars/clubs aswell as restaurants - with WEARESNO taking us out for 3 dinners a week. Massive shoutout to Dave (the “man on the ground”) who not only helped us settle in, answered all our questions but is also a great laugh - the course wouldn’t be the same without him!

Currently on the Niseko programme extremely supportive staff who have been great and answered all questions. Had a great season working the dream job and hope to have many more seasons in the future with the qualifications I've got here.

The WeAreSno team In Switzerland was world class, from the training provided which was excellent to help improve and prepare for the exams, to the nightlife and social events in and around Zermatt which made us feel like locals big shout to Dave for everything he did.

The Zermatt course was so fun, everyones skiing improved so much with the trainers, the ski area is huge so there were so many different runs to ski, apres at hennu was wicked, everyone was friendly especially dave who answered all of our questions and supported us with everything to be fair tho, the zerm town is super fun too with the bars and live music and the dinners were all so nice especially the chinese where we had amazing service and food so would definitely recommend the chinese restaurant to future groups (even if dave says no the little rascal!!), the accom had a sauna and jacuzzi etc perfect vibes for after a day of skiing. overall loved zerm, loved skiing, loved the group 10/10 recommend xxx

The WeAreSno team in Japan was amazing, all the events and training were top class and extremely fun! This is an excellent way to do a ski season and would highly recommend WeAreSno.

When I did the wearesno course to get my level one and two, they really looked after me, making sure that I was well prepared for my exams, was happy with my progress and just having fun through out the whole course. They really made it feel like a family and have continued to look out for me even after the course has finished. They have provided tips and advice on how to get jobs or visas, and have checked in to see how my new career as an instructor is going.
I really appreciated their help and would recommend their course to anyone hoping to become a snowsports instructor.

So far this has been an incredible experience in all aspects. I have chosen to do the Furano course and it has been the best decision of my life. The resort is a lot less busier than any European resort with loads of powder and backcountry routes to utilise. In terms of how organised We are Sno are, they provide a very clear step by step process of every detail you need for your course, such as how to get the Visa, insurance and what to bring. Whenever I have needed to ask a question prior to starting this course I would always receive a very quick response which helped a lot. In terms of the opportunities provided you get taught by world class instructors and have Job opportunities lined up when you qualify. From the people I have met, to the incredible opportunities and overall quality of life I am so glad I have chosen to do a course with We are Sno.

Not only is this my first season but the furthest I have traveled from home and solo at that. WAS has not only made the whole process fast and streamlined but also made me feel comfortable throughout. As this is the first year in a new location aswell, the process has not wavered. The accommodation and transport has been comfortable and smooth. I have also met some amazing people along the way and continue to do so! Furano itself is also gorgeous and kept. Definitely one of the finest decisions I've ever made and will remember fondly.

When I changed my DoB, I was accepted.
They only accept people born after 1990;

I live in a resort and freeride daily.

Age discrimination occurs when someone is unfairly disadvantaged for reasons relating to their age which cannot be objectively justified. It has been illegal in the UK since 2006, with the law now incorporated into the Equality Act 2010.

The person who I was talking to over Email,(Ashley) was verry helpfully nice. She was verry willing to chat and make things work for me and my internship.

Just back from the best 3 months in Wanaka, New Zealand.
Right from the start of the process from organising visas, accommodation and equipment wearesno were on hand to answer any of our questions.
Our accommodation the team provided was great after a long day on the slopes and made us feel comfortable in our new home.
Lewis as our program manager was brilliant, and answered our endless amount of questions and made us feel very welcome and settled into our training schedule.
Our social events and weekly meals out were great fun and also allowed us to mix with people outwith the course allowing us to make connections with other ski instructors, which has become valuable after the course. I look forward to continuing to work next season and for many more.

I took part in this course in New Zealand during my University summer holiday, and couldn’t be more pleased that I did. All members of the team were extremely personable, helpful and knowledgeable and made the entire experience much easier; not just in terms of the actual training but also in regards to feeling comfortable and settled in what was for many of us a fairly alien setting.

The contacts you will gain from this are also unparalleled, meeting people who can secure you job offers in various different countries across the world is perhaps one of the most valuable parts of this course that you may not gain from other companies, as it’s a really who you know industry it’s extremely invaluable to have these connections.

Couldn’t be more pleased about my decision, and would do it all over again if I could!

I recently attended the WeAreSno course in Zermatt Switzerland and it was an absolutely incredible experience! I have met some amazing people and my skiing (with the help of the awesome summit instructors) improved massively over a short period. Big up Dave for being an absolute legend all the way through our stay, wouldn't have been the same without you. Trust me book the course u won't regret it!

The WEARESNO course in Zermatt was the best experience I’ve ever had. The best ski conditions and even better people, couldn’t have asked for anything more. Dave, our course manager really made it all happen and was there from the very start to answer any questions. Having now got my qualification and enjoyed it all the way through I’d strongly recommend the course to anyone who wants to get the most out of their ski season.

The instructor course in Zermatt was amazing in so many ways. The accommodations were nice and Dave made us feel very welcome right away. His tour through Zermatt helped us gain familiarity with our new home and he was there for us with whatever we needed throughout the whole trip. The instructing we received from the Summit ski school was incredible and the improvements in our skiing were insane. As a ski instructor himself, Dave was able to answer any questions we had about the process. Between his guidance and the training from summit it was a very successful trip.
