High quality casual menswear at a reasonable price. Especially enjoy their workwear inspired pieces such as denim, chinos, and denim and twill work shirts. Classic styling, good fit and high quality material.

These are easily the best-fitting jeans I’ve ever owned—heavyweight, durable, and absurdly comfortable once broken in. The fabric texture is incredible, showing off a deep indigo shade and a clean selvedge line that only look better as they age and fade.
​The construction is top-notch, featuring solid chain-stitched hems, tough pocket bags, and classic red bar tacks. With a timeless straight cut that sits just right over work boots or sneakers, these are built to last a lifetime. America-made quality at its finest. You’ll have to bury me in my Gustins.

I've been buying Gustin for well over a decade now, and I think they've found their own niche pretty well.

Gustin is not for the impatient due to the slow cycle of the business model.

Gustin is also not exactly the cheapest place, nor is it either the place to get boutique-level high-end clothes either.

For me personally, what Gustin does well is getting you interesting, less run-of-the-mill fabric options for your everyday garments and select game pieces, at relatively reasonable prices, at a reasonable quality level - My everyday wardrobe would be a whole lot more boring without the Gustin denim, chino, and shirt sections in it.

This is not to say Gustin doesn't do decent staples - they do. It's just that I feel the real value comes out when they go beyond the usual norm. Lot's of places do good denim staples with good price/quality ratios - but there's much less options if you want something good, that additionally doesn't look like Just Another Regular Blue Jean Thing. And that's where Gustin's excellence is.

Sewing worksmanship and QC is generally great - but my one peeve is that there is still a tendency for sewn buttons to sometimes come off the garments, particularly on shirts. It's a small thing - but it's that critical last step - the dot on top of the "i" -letter - that Gustin keeps dropping to the floor. It leaves you a worse impression of quality than what reality actually is overall.

But overall quality is not only worksmanship though - it is also garments and the cloth. And here comes the biggest challenge with the Gustin business model; garment sizing consistency over time. As the garment cloth selection is constantly fluctuating, with a lot of one-offs, sometimes you end with a piece of clothing that fit you great when you got it - but then after a few months, or even a year, it's eventually shrunk to the point that it's no longer as wearable as it was for you when new.

To be fair to Gustin, they do try to give advance warning when they know they're playing with a particularly temperamental fabric that obviously has such a character - but a lot of slower transformations still fall through the cracks IMO. The nature of the game with the always shifting fabric selection, so to speak - it's not like they'd have time to run year-long tests on all fabric batches just to be sure. I would, however, personally recommend always erring on larger than your usual size if your chosen fabric is A) notably thick/heavyweight, or B)has a notable physical weave pattern (ex. dobby herringbone). Less tears if something is slightly loose when new than if it's too tiny to even pull on later....

Regarding Customer service, personally I've only had good experiences so far. They're quick to reply and generally solution-focused. I got a wrongly sewed jacket once (jean snap buttons in the wrong location). They had no spares, so I got full credit for it and they didn't even want the jacket back. I complained about losing a few shirt buttons that had come off on the move, they shipped me a bunch of spares in an envelope for free. I unusually got seamrip in the neck of a shirt due too a too narrow sewing margin in a heavy cloth shirt, they offered to compensate the seamstress cost for the fix. They will not overcompensate - but they will try to find a reasonable solution for you, and that's what matters in the end.

Gustin finds the absolute best fabrics. Every time I put on one of the (several) pieces I've bought from them, I feel like I'm putting on my new pajamas on Christmas morning. And these clothes get noticed! I've never gotten so many comments on the fit, style and fabric of what I wear. Can not recommend Gustin any more highly! Great people, great clothes.

Had issues with sizing, all problems solved quickly and professionally, thanks to Eric and Kelly for working with me and being so patient about returns, exchanges and getting everything right. Prices are unbeatable, jeans and jackets (especially the Horween Chomexcel #8 which I highly recommend) are tough and well made.

They have clear communication when backing their campaigns, once they are fully funded. As they suggest on the site multiple times, please make sure to read the fit guide before ordering! The button ups are a little tighter in the chest than I'm used to but they were exactly the size that was listed so it was my bad for not reading fully on that listing, no complaints on the quality of the product at all! I can still wear it along with my other shirts and denim I've ordered and I plan on ordering more in the future.

Customer service is proactive, efficient and friendly. I've had to make changes to a couple of orders, and always gotten great advice from the Gustin team. The quality of the goods I've purchased has always met my expectations.

Gustin is making quality denim & using some really unique fabics to do it. Listen to their sizing guidelines, don't be a hero & think you can fly around those guidelines. You will regret your chocies if you do.
The crowdfunding stuff is cool but if you're impatient like me you can grab some stock stuff, they mail it out quick fast.
It's expensive, especially in canada, but i'll throw down for pants that last forever.
Customer service is good & the quality of the 4 pieces I've recieved have been excelllent. (minus the button holes on a workshirt which are pretty awful) Otherwise no complaints.
I buy the vintage straight which are the right amount of space for me. I cannot imagine how all these muscle men slide their weird bodies into anything smaller like the skinny or the slim, crazy business.
I'd like to try a tshirt but paying 180$ cdn for two tshirts is never going to happen. I will forever wonder what a 90$ tshirt feels like lol.

I love Gustin because of the value I get which is their business model, and the garments they sell are of really good honest quality. Their cuts are classic, the fabrics are really good, and their no-frills and no fancy advertising enables us to really enjoy value for money.

I have been buying Gustin garments for three years at least now and have only experienced one incident where my order was not fulfilled because the garments failed their quality tests. They were very honest and upfront about it when they gave me a refund and this was very early on, so I think they have the quality control issue under control now because I have not had any such issues in the last 18 months.

Gustin is a great brand for people who don’t need fancy logos to prove that they have good taste and if they know what they want or that they are able to evaluate garments based on quality and not fancy advertisement or celebrity endorsements.

From a customer service perspective, they are usually very responsive, and I find them to be very reasonable.

The quality of the product is exceedingly high. I also like to support businesses that try to minimize waste, which Gustin does by making products by order. I don’t mind the wait, in fact it makes me anticipate the arrival more and value the product more.

The jeans they make are fantastic and the customer service is excellent. I ordered the wrong size pants (my fault), and the return experience was easy with swift communication and customer service. Awesome people.

Ordered a pair of jeans. Fit was awful, NBD. The return process- that was awful. Customer service clearly instructed to go through a 17 step return process. By the time I finally got all the info to return them, the 30 day windo had passed. HARD PASS>

I was having difficulty finding the right size for me, they helped me out and the selvedge jeans are super high quality and have just enough room to let me get on a motorcycle, etc.

I wanted to try a pair of Gustin Jeans, so I did their 'crowdfunding' deal for a pair of 1969 Selvedge jeans for $99 on May 26, 2026. It was 'funded' on May 30th and my CC was charged.

Yesterday, August 13th, I received an email from their production saying, "8/13 update: these jeans are still being cut, and will finish cutting next week."

Today, August 14th, I see them posting a sale on these same, Selvege 1969 jeans for $99 and THEY ARE IN STOCK!

So why am I waiting for a pair of jeans to be made that are already available and in stock? Very disappointing as a new first time customer, and no matter how great these jeans are, I will not purchase from Gustin again unfortunately.

Gustin have become my favorite jeans over all. The quality is very good. The materials and coloring are what keep me so interested. Great jeans.

Gustin is a great company because they deliver exactly what they've advertised - American-made goods at decent prices. If you are looking for support American manufacturing and want well-made clothes in the bargain, you can't go wrong. I have several pairs of their jeans and they are exactly as advertised.

I've been ordering a large part of the items in my wardrobe from Gustin for over a decade now, and have always received products with amazing craftsmanship. The two times that I've had to reach out to customer service, their response time has been under twenty four hours, friendly, and an actual human who made it right during that interaction. My latest purchase of a rare Cone Mills selvedge denim was top tier, and I will continue to shop with them!

Great company with great customer service. I have purchased 3 pairs of jeans from them. Each has been a unique fabric I wasn’t able to find elsewhere which makes the wait worth it. The construction was great and the jeans are comfortable. Also purchased a dress shirt and the quality is the same.

Their customer service is also amazing. I had a pair of jeans stolen from my apartment and they resolved the situation with no pushback. I would recommend purchasing from Gustin over and over again.

Long time Gustin customer. Recently had an issue with a fly button. Gustin sent out a replacement immediately and now I am good. Great customer service and a great product.

Gustin is a small company but the quality of the clothing is very impressive. They are upfront with the customer checking their size and fit guide (very important) and the time frame in which your garment(s) are cut, sewn packaged and shipped all the way to quality care of your new Garment(s)! You will not be disappointed but blown away with Gustin ; I was and I am very picky!!
