Rang the advertised number and gave James details of the Motorhome I wished to sell . Based on my description I was offered an amount that seemed reasonable. He agreed to send someone round to view at a mutually convenient time two days later. At the time my initial thought was here we go. This will be like the experience I had with that shower Philip Schofield advertises. I am pleased to say the engineers / valuers arrived , looked round it, reported back to James and the money was in my bank before they drove away with it. I must admit I dreaded ringing these kind of sites. James put me at ease straight away. The price was good, better than I hoped. The sales pitch not pushy (I was surprised at this!)
So in a nutshell, I was happy (and a little relieved) that our lovely motorhome wasn't being insulted by a rubbish price🙂

Spoke to James Rock and he was pleasant, but his price was very very unrealistically low. So, I said no deal, but he wanted to know other dealer prices and kept badgering me. Very tough sales process and if I'd known this then I would never have given him my details.

Following on James' reply. I can confirm that it was James Rock of Rock Associates. It can be easy for you to get confused when speaking go customers when you don't listen to them. I find your reply offensive and derogatory.

The money was transferred into my account literally within minutes of the sale being agreed. The chaps who came to check and collect the motorhome (the two Peter's) were very polite and friendly. I was aware of this but with work commitments and a change in personal circumstances, I didn't have the time. He made a fair offer which we were able to agree on and a date was organised to inspect the motorhome. On the agreed date, his driver was delayed due to traffic and I was informed accordingly. This was a Friday afternoon and Roy called me back on the Monday with an offer to purchase. The collection was completed on the arranged day with Danny organising the money being paid into my bank account prior to the motorhome being driven off my drive.
