I had a very awkward request in order to speed up the install process of an item that had a long lead time, Michael went above and beyond to make sure we got the parts we needed to install on time, the quality or everything we have ordered so far has been excellent.

Great experience dealing with W1 Bathrooms. Everyone was friendly and helpful, but importantly they were also the cheapest. Everyone went to a lot of trouble to get my items delivered quickly to site and the whole experience was very efficient and positive. Highly recommended.

Poor communications
Likes: Well informed staff and easy to use website.
Dislikes: I was informed that delivery would be 3-5 working days. When nothing had arrived after 2 weeks I had to chase the company (WOB). They had no idea that the product hadn't been delivered. Indeed, they had no idea what was going on at all with the product. They had 'assumed' that the manufacturer had 'sorted' it. Had I have not called WOB, I honestly do not think they would have ever known that the product hadn't been delivered or that it was still on a shelf in the manufactures' factory.

We coordinated delivery directly through our supplier on this occasion and, unfortunately, they didn't follow through as expected. We should have caught this before you had to chase us, and for that we sincerely apologise.
We're glad the order has now been delivered and resolved, but we know that doesn't make up for the stress and inconvenience caused. This wasn't the standard we hold ourselves to and we'll continue to make sure we have full visibility on deliveries so this kind of delay doesn't happen again.

Took a long time to arrive because of special order but then delivered by FedEx promptly after it arrived in warehouse. All good.

A branded product at a good price

HIB bathroom cabinet was at a great…
HIB bathroom cabinet was at a great price, packed well for delivery with no issues. The cabinet is now fitted, the electrical connection needed adaptations to make it fit behind the cabinet, but overall happy with my purchase.

Thank you for your response. I have already spoken with your manager, Alex, and we both agreed that the service provided was not sufficient. Thank you also for refunding the delivery charge, and thanks to Gianluca for his call.
This is not the first time a delivery has arrived without proper notice. On the previous occasion, the issue was only resolved because I happened to have people working in my flat.
I also did not receive any email regarding this most recent delivery, so I would appreciate it if this could be checked more carefully. A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is essential when delivering a 15kg, 2‑metre‑high shower glass panel.
If this is the standard of service expected from a boutique company, I would strongly suggest reviewing your procedures. A simple and sincere apology would have been more appropriate than attempting to justify the situation.
Given these points, I stand by my feedback and would encourage your team to take inspiration from your manager’s approach, which was far more constructive and solution‑focused.

Terrible service
Terrible service! As expected, I paid for initial order shipping. Then upon returning the next day due to wrong item, I paid for return shipping. However, they did "not" refund the initial shipping even though I paid for shipping to and from. The item went to me and back to them with no shipping costs to them, but they kept £12. I emailed them and they never replied. I will never use them again and will be sure to spread the word.

I can confirm that your product refund was processed in full, but the original shipping charge wasn’t refunded. Not refunding the initial delivery cost is fairly standard practice across most online retailers, as this covers the cost of sending the item out in the first place, even if it’s later returned.
That said, you absolutely should have received a reply to your email, and I’m sorry that you didn’t, that isn’t the level of service we aim for.

Service with a smile
I can't rate West One Bathrooms highly enough. I made a mistake with my online order and despite it being my fault they were beyond understanding and made sure that I got what I needed. Everything was dealt with quickly, efficiently and with good communication.
