I joined Whatsgoodtodo reviewer group almost two years ago and my only regret is that I didn’t join sooner for a very modest admin fee of £30 per year I have been given the opportunity of reviewing and keeping such a wide range of products , far more then I ever imagined.
Being part of this group has brought so much joy to me and my family . The director of company puts so much work into finding new and interesting products or events for us to review.
I would happily recommend this group to anyone .

I have been a reviewer right from the start and I can honestly say it is one of the best opportunities you will ever come across.
I have had reviews that range from books, to car seats, to spa days, to meals at restaurants, I was even fortunate to be able to review a hotel in Florence a few years ago.
For £30 for the year and the guarantee that you will have at least your membership fee covered, it is well worth it. You will cover that and beyond in no time.
The director is open and honest at all times and goes above and beyond to make sure that the reviews are evenly allocated.

I have been a reviewer for this company since late 2014 (so over seven years). I only review products and don't put my name forward for theatre reviews, but that's a personal choice (and the option to do so is always there). The process is straightforward; the dedicated website (or Facebook page) lists products (and attractions/theatre tickets) to review; you will be selected to review some of them if you regularly put your name forward.

The modest membership fee of £30 is for the considerable amount of administration required finding, liaising and maintaining clients willing to offer items to review. I have received 5 to 8 times the membership fee each year, and I've reviewed everything from cufflinks, a smart speaker, a printer, various books to Cornish pasties! It's fun, especially if you enjoy writing.

I'm amazed at the recent negative review; that's not the company I've experienced at all. It should be noted that I have no personal connection with the company whatsoever, and throughout my seven-year membership, I have only spoken to the Director once via telephone.

I have had numerous theatre trips, which I would never have been able to experience otherwise. I have been to fantastic restaurants and received hundreds of pounds worth of free products all for a ridiculously low administration fee of £30 per year. I can honestly say that being a member of this brilliant team has changed my life and I will continue to write reviews for years to come.

I've been a reviewer for many years for whatsgoodtodo.com and wow how it's changed my life. Thanks to this wonderful company i've had the opportunity to review many shows, experiences and lovely meals that I wouldn't have normally have done. Its opened my eyes to the opportunities out there that I wouldn't have been aware of. In addition, the number of products that have benefited both myself and my family. Its a small run family business and as a reviewer all opportunities are made available to everyone and you simply put your name down for the things you are willing and able to review in return for a 500 word write up. You are provided with guidance and criteria to help you write a good quality piece, so that you can be confident in what you are writing which really helps if you're new to it. Its all very transparent; with a reviewer queue so only those at the top of the queue can get picked for each item and then they go to the bottom of the queue. Thats it, even the owner is in the queue which i think is a testament to her integrity and drive to give everyone a fair shot at each item. She also manages to provide some great high value products every week. For the small sum of £30 membership a year which in my opinion is a steal; It really doesn't take long to recoup this cost in experiences and products. You just can't put a value on what you get back from this membership. Becoming a reviewer could be the best decision you ever make!

I have had the best opportunities and experiences during my time with What’s Good To Do! Things I’ve never dreamed of doing before and theatres shows I have absolutely loved! I’ve been able to include my family in most of the opportunities that have come my way and comparing annual membership to what I actually get to enjoy, I know that this is something I will be doing for years to come! I love working with this company and appreciate all the hard work they put in so that I get to enjoy the outings abs products! Something for everyone, I would recommend this company to one and all!!

I have dipped in and out of being a reviewer for around six years now and couldn’t be happier I’ve also recommended friends and family to become a reviewer who are also very happy with the experience I don’t believe for a moment that the director of the company takes advantage and keeps all the high money value items to herself I’ve seen reviews all over the country which would be impossible to all be done by her friends I myself have had plenty of great experiences that I probably wouldn’t of had …had it not been For what’s good to do and the amount of hours she puts in are worth more than any admin fee we pay ( £30 ) she deserves some things for her family too !!!

I have a been a reviewer for many years now and I have to say that the team work all hours to make sure each and every one of us are treated equally and fairly.

The membership is reasonable and you certainly get that back and more when you add up all the items that are sent to you to review.

I’ve had some great items allocated, from toys, baby items and beauty products to theatre shows.

The company are a delight and always happy to help out with any queries.

I’ve been a Reviewer with What’s Good To Do for over 4 years and I love it!

Basically you pay £30 a year to be a member and then get offered theatre and attraction tickets and all kinds of products to review. There’s a reviewer list and you’re offered things every time your name comes up, plus there’s extra opportunities to volunteer for things.

I’ve had hundreds and hundreds of pounds of free tickets and products. For Theatre reviews you normally get two free tickets, occasionally family tickets.

Theatre reviews have to be in within 24 hours; you get 5 days to review products. I’ve reviewed toys, baby monitors, wine, chocolates, art work, all sorts!!! I’ve had days out at zoos and popular tourist attractions.

Reviews have to be a min. 500 words and are simple to upload onto the website.

Becoming a Reviewer is a fantastic way of experiencing attractions and receiving a wide range of lovely products, for free! I’d highly recommend getting onboard.

The perfect site if you’re stuck for ideas on pretty much anything! Books, children’s toys, household items, days out, theatre shows... literally everything is reviewed on this site by real, honest people. I find the reviews balanced and really detailed and a great help at key times of the year when I’m stuck for gift ideas (Mothers day, Easter, Christmas). My go-to site!

Eighteen Months with 'What's Good To Do'

We joined 'What's Good To Do' (WGTD) in August 2019 on the recommendation of a friend and, without a doubt, its one of the best decisions we have ever made. To date, as a family, we have enjoyed two dozen free experiences and products!

So what is it?
WGTD is a family and friends run community which brings together reviews of days out, theatrical and musical productions, a vast range of products and services, online in one place to inform and guide consumers. The majority of the reviews are written by volunteers like us in exchange for free tickets to the theatre, days out/overnight stays and complimentary products to keep and test at home.

How have we benefited from it?
For us, the majority of our reviews have been of theatre or musicals, either as a couple or with our children - the first being 'Madagascar the Musical' at Stoke Regent Theatre.
If we are lucky, we go to the theatre twice a year, since August 2019 we have had 12 free visits, all Stall seats (costing on average £35 per ticket) - including the circus and a panto! Unbelievably, at most venues, you are treated like Press and receive complimentary drinks, snacks and a programme. This has of course been hampered by the COVID-19 pandemic, but I’m sure when theatres reopen the benefits will resume.
We have also had a day out at ‘Ironbridge’ which saved us £66. As well as numerous products, including a new to market ‘Skip Hop’ Ride on Toy which made for an amazing 1st Birthday present for our niece.
WGTD has enhanced our family time and given us more opportunities, we can't thank them enough!
The latest product we reviewed was an incredible robotics and coding kit from ’Robo Wunderkind’ - definitely something we would not have been able to afford for our children without WGTD.

How do you get involved?
Community members have a private forum (and Facebook Group) on which a simple taxi rank system is used to ensure a fair allocation of available items. Once offered usually via email/Fb, you have the option to accept or decline. Declined items are then offered to the next person in the queue. Additional items are also offered frequently under the ‘Help Out’ scheme when a PR agency is looking for a quick response or other members have turned them down. You can accept or put your name forward for as much or as little as you wish, there's plenty to go round and the management team always work on a fair distribution model.

Is there a cost?
Yes: time taken to enjoy the experience- which could be an evening at the theatre, a day out with the family, or a week to test a product; time to write a minimum 500 word review (we've found this takes approximately 2 to 3 hours and it's important to get it right - low quality reviews diminish the brand); plus there's a £40 annual administration fee.

It sounds too good to be true.
We thought the same! So we did our homework, as well as visiting the main website, we browsed their Facebook and Twitter pages of WGTD - you'll see the posts of reviews by numerous people and how they have been liked or reposted by theatres/companies.
There are lots of PR and Marketing agencies out there who are eager for consumers to reviews their products. The owners are just sharing the benefits, workload and joy.

What's good to do allows me to review products openly and honestly. I have had some amazing experiences reviewing theatre performances and even have the opportunity to meet some stars. The products reviews are allocated fairly and there is now a new system in place to see where we are on the allocation list. I can't recommend What's good to do enough 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Great opportunity to try many different products for the whole family.
I have received some wonderful products over the last year. Such as: toys, games, food, drinks and bath products.
In return, I leave an honest review for each of the products for others to read.

I feel really lucky to be a part of this reviewing community whereby we are given the opportunity to review some fantastic products/ services and experiences.
WGTD offers a huge diversity in the types of items etc for review, so you are always safe in the knowledge that something you need, want or like will pop up for potential review!

I was sceptical when a friend told me about this reviewing site that she was involved with, but a few years later I am still here and I am so glad I joined, I am unable to work due to ill health therefore not only is it great to be able to try items that i personally might not have even thought about, but it gives me something to do to fill in some of the spare time I have on my hands, as well as feeling part of a small community. I feel the reviews are given out fairly between all the reviewers and easily cover the yearly fee plus more. I am looking forward to many more years reviewing with What’s good to do.

Great company, very friendly and informative

I have been a reviewer for over 5 years, I and my family have had some wonderful opportunities and items to review.
Things we wouldn't normally be able to afford or things that would be luxury purchases. My 3 children have had numerous toys, gifts and travel accessories. We have had food and drinks, cakes, takeaways and meals out.
For a small fee each year we have reaped the rewards and all enjoy our reviews and look forward to what we may get next.
