First time customer, bought Uncharted Whisky Co.'s 22yr sherry single cask, cask strength Highland Park for £90 which was terrific value. Slightly shambolic experience but overall no complaints. The bottler delayed the release date by about a month, which I didn't learn until I chased it up after a few weeks, and then UPS delivered it to the wrong address - I must give WIO a lot of credit here. After I notified them of the problem, Simon (the company director I believe) immediately over-nighted me a fresh bottle that was in my hands ~14 hours later, and also took it upon himself to retrieve the wrongly-delivered bottle, saving me traipsing halfway across the city to pick it up. Despite the delivery error being 100% on UPS (tracking info was correct and the 'proof of delivery' photograph clearly captured my correct address on the box label - except outside a door I didn't recognise that turned out to be ~5 miles away), Simon & WIO immediately made it right, which I very much respected.

I do think it's important to note that the two main issues that impacted my order, were not WIO's fault / were outside of their control (the bottler delaying the release date and the courier delivering to the wrong address). My sole criticism is that I'd say communication wasn't great - it could take a a few attempts to get through to someone on the phone, or take a day or two to get a response to an email. This is just conjecture on my part, but I got the sense that they're a bit understaffed and stretched a bit thin like so many businesses these days. At the end of the day, I got the bottle I wanted at a great price & I'm a happy customer.

Has to be one of the worst sites I ever ordered anything from.
There are too many things to fit into one review but I will give it a go.
First of all, I ordered a whisky. The support staff reached out to tell me that there is an import cost for Europe orders and that he needs confirmation for my order. I said that I didn't know and I need to check the costs before I answered.
In the meantime the guy proceeded to cancel my order without even asking me. I reached out to inquire as to why this happened and I never got an answer. I got a refund and decided to try again. Big mistake.
The second time they did deliver it, but the delivery guy told me I need to pay not only the import cost but also the price of the whisky which I already did. But apparently the website did not let the delivery company know that it's already paid for. So I refused and never ended up receiving my whisky and I am still waiting for a refund. NEVER ORDER FROM THERE. As another review says : avoid it like the plague.

Made an order, paid and got a recipe.
The day after i got contacted, got told that they wanted more money. Apparently the transport would cost more, got told that i could pay the extra fee or they cancel my order.
I refused, even said we could split it...but no way...i should pay they said.
So i pointed out that in their terms there was not pointed out that they could charge extra after i already paid and got a recipe.
But no, they refused to follow their on terms.
(Now i see they have updated their terms on sale. So they knew they were wrong but canceled my paid order)

Dont recommend this company.

Avoid this site like the plague. Most of the bottles on here are widely available at retail price. Horrible prices just robbing unsuspecting customers

Great service, an excellent site to purchase Whisky from. I was kept up to date on my order from purchase to delivery. No issues upon opening, bottle was wrapped tightly and securely.
