They moved us from NJ to TN. The next morning after they left we discovered a number of pieces of jewelry missing from my wife’s jewelry. Some of the items are irreplaceable. We called the police and gave them the names we had of the delivery guys. Police ran checks and sent me back an mugshot to make an identification. ONE OF THE GUYS HAS A CRIMINAL RECORD. Who knows how many criminals this company brings into people’s homes on a daily basis. It took me hours to reach their customer care supervisor, Margaret Lombardi. After 4 separate phone calls, she finally called me back, and said there was nothing she could do to make us whole. She said they don’t carry insurance for these types of situations. When we initially spoke with their moving managers, Darwin and Mike they said they were fully insured and bonded. To add insult to injury, this Margaret shifted blame on us , and said we didn’t hide the jewelry appropriately. She also threatened me with legal action if we would post my experience on line.
USE ANYONE else other than them and make sure to check backgrounds of possible.
