Be very careful, they steal your money!

. Karen Felix a representative of the company wholesale direct payments which is talus had me under the impression that she worked for square inc . On 12/6/2024 I opened a square inc account and tried to connect a square inc card reader.i had bought off Amazon The reader did not work because I wasn't approved yet until 12 /10/2024 Karen some how got into the conversation and posed as a worker from square inc and tried to troubleshoot my card reader that wasn't working because my account was too new . She advised me that I needed a new card reader and that square does not handle the contract side of the card readers so I was under the impression that my card reader wasn't working because is was not connected and to do so I need to be under a contract which is not accurate they scammed me and some how got my call instead of square inc and or tried to sell me a product not affiliated w/ square and it's program . I was fraudulently induced into a contract not knowing how it works for the first time but I wanted to be with square not wholesale direct payments the name of the company they represent . So on 12/6/ Karen Felix told me some one would call me on Monday to tell me if i was approved. Today on 12/10/24 the guy called and stated some stuff not inline with Karen had stated and I was confused how she could redo my square inc app after the reader came in and wanted me to send them my broken square card reader which they don't own I realized after talking with square inc .I have never had their card reader ever I want to cancel the contract that was made today they have not incurred any losses only person who lost out was me trying to call them all day on different numbers she used deceitful business tactics when I called square they told me there is no fee monthly to use the card reader and it's not a separate company that handles them. on the phone they made it seem like square inc is going out of business to them that's how my call go to them it's all a scam and was induced and I want my contract cancelled on day 1 . Talus pay name is listed on the contracts so is advantage leasing upon further review I don't need any new equipment mines works fine. I can't believe she tried to troubleshoot a device that's wasn't hers and acted as if it was and said why it wasn't working what a lie . I want the contract cancelled in my name I tried to call back and they wasn't having it . It's a scam
12/11/12 representative called me today and told me to take down my bad review on trust pilot and they would get rid of the early termination fee. I guess they didn't read my claim I was defrauded by their sales team they are trying to black mail me in taking my review down in exchange for no early termination fee . I said send me an email stating no early termination fee and I will take down my review but it will not come down until then. they tried to black mail me when they are in the wrong clearly wish I could upload the email

When you call wholesale talus pay picks up you can't reach the people who you made the contract with .. on the contract it states advantage leasing and talus pay and a private contract lol then talus tell you to call instelar inc which is the parent company of wholesale direct payments now I'm waiting on them to get a confirmation from talus the account is closed with no early termination fee when all this just took place yesterday what a joke and a scam I been getting run around for 2 days the police and the bbb is involved unless this is resolved asap and amicably. See what they are doing is buying time hoping the reader gets delivered to my address and then I can be billed I called and cancelled before y'all sent anything out see I know what the scam is no need to return equipment don't send it if I cancelled my square account that's means you helped me do it that is not accurate neither. my account with square is still active that's how I got my card reader connected and found out the truth .why would I cancel square inc and you and have no one now how would that make sense when the whole point of both services is to be able to take card payments the name talus never came up during the phone call not once . Had she said she is not square inc or not even affiliated with them I would of hung up Immediately.

Today is December 16 2024 after making my review on here it seems that me leaving my review prompted them to do the right thing the cancelled the account and didn't charge me the ETF so I'm a go up on the stars a bit but overall it was very complicated and time consuming to get it done had I not came here I don't think it would of been resolved easily. I'm not going to delete my review I m amending it because it did happen to me and others should know my story . So instead Im going to bump up the stars for fixing the issue but it's no way will I give you 5 stars and on top of that the response or rather the excuse y'all gave on here was a lie . I never deleted my account

We just had the most wonderful experience working with Miss Anna Alvarez in customer service. We have been using our device for about a year and couldn't seem to find the answers we were looking for after numerous phone calls and had horrible communication with our past Reps. Anna was able to help us without any hesitation and was extremely patient and knowledgeable in discussing our needs and finding a resolution. Shes an absolute 10/10!

They were both a delight to conduct business with. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable, patient. Answered all questions with confidence.

Liars! Scammers both to staff & merchants! No fees, no penalties, no contracts is bogus!! Stay clear bc they will pull you down financially & cause severe emotional distress. Started in 2023 & months and months still being scammed! Buyer be ware! Unknowingly, they fill out bottom of application. Fraud!

Their website is very easy to navigate, and the customer service is superb- specially with Alex Loukas who has provided excellent customer service since the very beginning by promptly responding to enquiries, advising as well as troubleshooting the less than a handful of times that we've needed assistance. WPD is an excellent choice!

Alex is very efficient. Communication is excellent. He is verygood at answering all questions and is very patient.

Businesses beware! Scammed with a phone call shortly after speaking to my current credit card processor about saving on processing fees. Soon after, I get a phone call from this lady, and she starts talking about credit card fees. I'm thinking, wow, these people are on the ball. So I told her I was working with a gentleman with her company and told her his name. She told me he worked for her and that it would have to happen immediately if I wanted to take advantage of the deal she offered. Once she started asking me about personal info. I asked whether you have it on file. She said no, this is a whole new program, and we are starting you up a whole new account with a new credit card machine and everything I wanted to hear! After I made the mistake of signing on, I immediately sent an email explaining in detail what happened. Explaining I didn't care for their deceiving tactics and did not want to do business with this company. Then someone else called me back and would not take no for an answer. I made one transaction for 350.00, and wholesale payments direct added over 20.00 to my customer. I called back and emailed these people to cancel. It took six mo. To get a cancellation form with their fees of 100.00 each mo, they drafted 500.00 out of my account for early cancelation for a service I've been unhappy with since day one! The form they sent with DocuSign is pre-filled and will not allow you to change why you canceled. They do that for you to protect themselves, and the information they filled out for my company was also incorrect. Hard-earned cash was taken out of my account for nothing! They do not deserve a star at all.

I am OK with people calling and trying to get my business, and if it's a good deal, and we can use the service, I am grateful. This company is annoying, pushy, and often rude. The lady I have spoken to Alex or Alec has called a few times, has been told that we are not interested, and unable to use their processing with our system, yet continues to get more pushy and rude. I would NEVER do business with a company that hires somebody like this.
