Very efficient and professional service. Would recommend.

Very professional but also very friendly and understanding. When i book a visit or leave a voice mail they are always very quick to come to site or to ring me back. Compared to previous experiences with the council they are an absolute pleasure to work with.
The inspectors are excellent and always very helpful and understanding. They have offered up alternative solutions when i have had issues and i can always ring them to ask their advice about alternate products or methods.
I would highly recommend Wilkinsons instead of going via the council.

I recommend Wilkinson building inspectors as they are efficient, great people to deal with.

Professional service, reliable. We needed a quick turn around with building control and Wilkinson was able to provide everything the Nursery needed for a smooth extension.

I had problems with communication from the beginning. After a few months of the building works starting I had received no updates, on checking they were sending the reports to a wrong e mail address. If I had been given a single point of contact in the office it would have been better as I never knew who I was dealing with, I liaised with about three or four different people throughout. I was not able to speak directly to my inspector either. And again had to call the office and leave a message when I wanted to get an answer to a question. Quite frustrating.... After an extended period of waiting for my electrical certificates to come through I sent them onto another contact at the office who I had had liaison. After a month I had heard nothing. On checking with them again I was told they hadn’t been received, but when I told her the date they were sent I was told they had been received but were missed being dealt with. Today I have received a letter from Geoff Wilkinson enclosing the final certificate but it didn’t say whether it had also been forwarded to my council! Again I had to e mail the office to confirm this. The letter also asked to complete a survey to give feed back to improve service but there was no link address. You have a few easy ways to improve your service, your communication method with your customers needs to be more streamlined, proof read letters and check correct e mail addresses are being used.

I found Lorraine to be incredibly helpful, kind and caring. She was highly approachable and prompt and thorough with her responses. She made sure that any concerns that I had were addressed and escalated accordingly.

Wilkinson provided an excellent, timely and quality service on my project. They proved to be a great help throughout the build, and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to others. Thank you!

Great service

A fantastic professional service from start to finish. The Inspector appointed - Wayne Smith - was courteous, professional and excellent adviser and support. He showed great patience and was a pleasure to work with. I would recommend using Wilkinson Construction Consultants for him alone.
The company is also very competitive in the original price quoted and able to negotiate if you are able to provide other quotes from competitors.
Areas of improvement:
- The response to any queries can sometimes take longer than expected and desired.
- If there are any changes to the planned work mid-way and further planning is required the costs charged by Wilkinson Construction Consultants for the added work - which may be minimal - can be unrealistically high. So to be mindful of this at the start.
- The company seems to have a number of staff and it is possible that one may not get response back from the same person....resulting in having to provide the same information repeatedly.
Overall Good. Would use and recommend.
