I had researched the most respected London Clinics that offer eyebrow transplants but my apprehension about making the right choice and the procedure were quickly overcome following a consultation with Marie. I felt listened to and understood and Marie’s experience both personal and professional helped me to make an informed decision with the confidence to move forward.
On the day of surgery Marie was present all day at various points which provided much reassurance and continuity. Dr Moussa was excellent and my decision to choose him as my surgeon and clinical lead was entirely validated. I have to give credit to the technicians for their care and attention throughout the procedure, which is very exacting work and thankfully they are perfectionists at what they do.
It was a real team effort from everyone including the reception staff on arrival and the standard of care and compassion from everyone on the day was exceptional. It’s early days but I have much to be hopeful about as I start my recovery.

I had been thinking about getting a hair transplant for a while. With a gentle push from my wife, I made an appointment with Adam who explained the process. I was impressed by the professional approach and never felt pressured.
The appointment was a great experience. The nurses were wonderful and the surgeon outstanding.
The follow-up was very helpful and supportive.
I am now looking forward to seeing the results in a few months.

Everything was really well organised and went smoothly. The whole team are lovely individuals and were really caring and skilled at what they do. Could not recommend them enough!

It’s weird from beginning to end. You first meet with a sales rep, not the surgeon. The sales rep then began to send me affiliate links on a “better place to get topical finasteride”. I was not sent a formal plan, which donor areas will be used, how the hairline will be constructed. Just a completely random quote for the same number of grafts my friend had, but a totally different price point. This was the most unprofessional experience I have ever had. How anyone feels comfortable having surgery here is a mystery.

I contacted Wimpole feeling self confident about my receding hairline. I met with Adam who was very thorough, explained the process and answered all my questions. My procedure was with Dr Thomas in Birmingham just over a year ago now, I’m very pleased with my new hairline and the overall process. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience from my initial consult. Simone kept me updated and informed from our first discussion. Dr Barri was very understanding and he looked after me and listened to my concerns and gave me the best advise. He went into detail regarding my potential hair line. The team on the day , Nadiya, Tara, Evan’s and Gabbie were the best. They kept checking up on me , ensuring our was comfortable and made me feel at home. My post op with Maire was detailed. I felt confident going home and knowing what I needed to do and not to do

I am now six months into my hair transplant procedure at the Wimpole Clinic, Newcastle, and have found the level of care, professional expertise and attention to detail to be of the highest level at every stage of the process.

Husnain really is one in a million, from the offset he put me at ease, by helping me better understand the process, and his knowledge within hair transplants is vast. The aftercare service was also really special, each day he was available and supported me better understand the healing process, and the stages of healing, as well as providing tips on a quicker recovery. We collectively designed my new hairline, which is extremely natural, as this was a worry of mine, alongside the amazing Dr Bari. Dr Bari was brilliant and precise, as well as the experienced team of technicians behind the Wimpole clinic. I couldn’t recommend this clinic and team enough, 5 star service and experience from beginning to end.

Had a great experience with my hair transplant which was done over 9 months ago now the whole team was great and stephen was there throughout the procedure and the after care was brilliant always there for any questions so 9 months on the worst is probably first 10 days sleeping and spraying head every hour after then it's smooth sailing my transplanted hair fell out after about 2 weeks and shedded nothing happened tell about 3 and half months then I really saw it come in 4th and 5th month and it's been growing thicker every month since so happy with my transplant wouldn't go anywhere else I highly recommend going if your thinking about a hair transplant you won't regret it 10/10

I am 53 and was considering a hair transplant in London in 2025. Having a severely receding hairline I was starting to come around to having a hair transplant after my brother in Australia got successful and very natural results.

I had used Grok AI to provide the top 10 hair transplant clinics in the country. I had decided I would inquire into the top 3. Wimpole was one of them. I made an inquiry via the Wimpole web page. Simone was the first one to get back to me and organised a call swiftly. The way Simone explained the procedure and provided his own experience put me at ease. He then Organised a video call with Dr Barry. His responsiveness, caring, experience and factual way of dealing with me brought me to the conclusion I would go with Wimpole.

Leading up the procedure he was always available extremely punctual and organised with meetings and providing me with information leading up to the procedure. This continued to give me confidence during a nervous time when I could have pulled out.

The team on the day was exceptional. Dr Barry was warm, caring (particularly during the local anaesthetic injections he was extremely empathetic), and the support team (Nadia and one other) were professional and experts in their field. The day completed without a hitch, lovely lunch was provided and Informative consultation about my after care.

The after care provided by Simone was exceptional. He was like clockwork every day for 2 weeks. Each morning I would receive a text reminding me of the aftercare steps for the day and what I could and couldn’t do. He also asked for photos each day and would call me to provide a review of my pictures and check up there were no issues. Simone was truly exceptional and was the difference (along with the team on the day) in me booking the procedure and my confidence in referring Wimpole.

Overall, my experience with Wimpole has been very positive. I’m now five months into my transplant and really pleased with the progress so far.

I attended the Manchester clinic and immediately found the team welcoming and professional. My main rep, KJ, has been great, thorough, and reassuring from the start, which has made me feel very relaxed through the whole process. Although I’d already done extensive research, he explained everything clearly and made me feel confident in my decision.

As someone who identifies as Non-Binary, it was very important to me that my hairline wasn’t overly masculine but more neutral and reflective of my gender identity. I was slightly nervous about raising this, but the Consultant genuinely listened and worked with me to design something that felt right. That meant a lot and made me feel respected and taken seriously.

The procedure itself was straightforward, not entirely pleasant, but very tolerable.
Lunch is provided on the day and although it’s fairly simple, it's perfectly adequate to keep you going for the second half of the procedure.

The aftercare guidance was clear and helpful during the early recovery weeks, and KJ stayed in regular contact, checking in and answering any questions. Even now, he continues to follow up monthly as I’m approaching my six-month in-person review.

At five months, the transplanted areas are filling in well, and it’s reassuring to know I’m only halfway through the growth timeline. The first few months are the toughest, but it does get easier.

After researching for six months, I chose not to travel abroad. I wanted somewhere accessible, where I wouldn’t feel rushed, and where my gender expression would be taken seriously and where my input to my hairline was listened to rather than given a ‘cookie cutter’ approach.

While having the procedure done in the UK is more expensive, the peace of mind and quality of care made it worth it for me.

I’d happily recommend Wimpole for your hair transplant and if you’re based in the North, the Manchester clinic and the whole team made it an easy choice for me.
