Windows & Doors 2 You 

Based on the feedback on Trustpilot, I went to Composite Doors 2 You, even though they are not local to me. I am so glad that I did. Matt was amazing - gave me lots of advice and had lots of patience when I kept changing my mind. The price was really competitive but the quality is great. Matt also helped out with a fitter, Ian. He was also superb, arrived on time, perfect job, zero mess, and completed really quickly. Don't hesitate - get your doors through Matt - you will not be disappointed.

A friendly professional service - Mathew provided us with 8 windows all exactly to our design. The windows were delivered and installed on time, with the installers being clean, efficient and quick. The windows are of good quality and look great and we've had lots of compliments.
We would highly recommend Mathew and CompositeDoors2You.

We regret so much that we decided to purchase the door from here. Until we placed the order, everything was good.

Then... the door was delivered without any communication. The delivery man explained that he is only a driver and doesn't have the equipment to move the door from the van to our garage. So my husband had to lift and carry the door with him.
My husband has neck problems and that affected him. I sent a feedback to Mathew about the delivery service - no reply.

Then... the door was fitted. This is what I emailed Mathew the same day:
"The fitters said they haven't seen such a bad quality in a very long time . A big disappointment.
1) There is a big gap (around a finger) between the left side of the door and the frame. See pictures 1 and 2.
2) The door won't lock properly because the door locks don't align against the frame holes
3) The hinges are not adjustable and made it very difficult for the fitters to make 2) work but that still needs a big push/pull
4) The door frame on the lock side has a very minimal amount of the steel. It's unreliable and not safe at all.
5) The cream colour is sprayed. I asked you at least 3 times during the order process to confirm that the colour is not sprayed but in the composite of the door.
6) The frame around the windows is with scratches and not even sprayed properly, not to mention the silicon. See pictures 3 and 6.
7) The hinges are completely visible on the inside. This isn't how the picture looked like on the order. On every other door I've seen they are hidden on the side. Picture 1.
8) The numbers we ordered were 1 and 8. We received 1 and 6 (or 9). Picture 4.
9) There is even a piece of elastic band left and sealed between one of the windows and the letter box. Picture 5.
10) As one can expect after having read 1) to 9) there is more but those 9 should be enough.
All in all, the door you delivered is cheap, insecure, bad quality and not the door we were promised.
Could you send me a bit of touch up paint to rectify the scratches and number 8 please.
I'm looking forward to your response," - No response.

I sent another reminder for a reply and sending the requested items. Nothing.

We’re using the door for few months now. Because of the gap between the door and the frame is very difficult to close and lock. I’m dreading the day when it will break. Based on the above, I’m not sure from who and how we can seek warranty.
The lesson learned for us - some things one must not purchase online.

From the moment I wrote an email to Mathew to seek advice and his assist, as well as his patience in getting the right quality door for us, the overall service delivery from start to finish has been absolutely great !! We are so happy with our door - its just as we hoped - sound, secure and very smart too !! When we move, we’ll be back again !! Thank You !!

Absolutely love our new front door. Service was excellent, from looking in the show room to the door being installed. We couldn’t of asked for a better company to deal with. Highly recommend composite Doors 2 you.

I am extremely pleased with the quality door that we received. The service and communication provided by Matthew throughout was second to none. Also the price of the door was fantastic! We had been quoted by other firms almost double the price we ended up paying (including fitting).

The fitters were also arranged by Matthew and they were great too. On time, polite, friendly and great workmanship.

Communication with the company and delivery were clear and easy. The door itself is exactly as described and what we wanted, at a much lower price than we had been quoted by local door companies. It fits excellently and looks great. Only slight negative is the lock is extremely stiff. However I have put some oil in it and hope with time it will loosen. Apart from that we’re very happy and would recommend.

The price was most attractive because I had looked around and found doors much more expensive and less secure than yours.

The only negative is that my house number is 206 and I requested 206 golden numbers but only 2 and 6 were supplied. I had to run to B&Q and buy the missing 0 whilst my fitters were working.! Lol
