Amazing, best ever

Reliable company, super easy to set up private servers (I've used them for 7D2D and also Vintage Story). Super easy interface, super customisable if you want that, easy as pie to mod games as they also have support pages for how to do it. Definetly recommend!

Easy setup and easy to mod. Supports SFTP for bulk file transfers, which is also nice.

Cannot commend Brandon and the team enough, he got us all up and running since the mod we wanted to play wasn't on the one click install options. Would massively recommend winternode to those who aren't very competent at setting up Minecraft servers! 10/10

Great server hosting. Holds up mods perfectly and never experience lag or hiccups!

Worst server hosting. Can't even get the plugins you would normally need for a smp or a server.

Brandon helped me get my server changed over to a different game with zero friction. He also came to the rescue on troubleshooting a modpack that wasn't in their Modpack Manager utility yet and kept me in the loop every step of the way. Great, prompt, knowledgeable service.

This was a great service. It would consistently run smoothly for us as long as we refreshed it once a week. That being with 4 people spending an average of 4 hours a day of active playing/building. Super Great option if no one in your group has a reliable rig/connection to host with.

Server hosting experience was smooth, no complaints there, which is an automatic 4/5 stars. Once I read one of WinterNode's newsletters and realized that they don't take investor money and don't raise prices, that raised it to a 5/5. Please support them!

so, I was using this free hoster, i planned one buying this since it was cheap and since it was also PAID and when i did buy it, the hoster was SLOWER THAN A FREE HOSTER, I do NOT recommend using this

Fast, clear responses that have always been helpful

I used this service from Indonesia to host a Discord bot, but unfortunately the server location is too far from my region. This resulted in higher latency and slower response times, which affected the bot’s performance, especially for real-time commands.

The setup process was fairly straightforward, and the service itself worked as expected, but the distance to the server made it less ideal for my use case. For applications like Discord bots that rely on quick responses, server location plays a big role.

In terms of uptime, there were occasional unexpected downtimes. However, I appreciate that the support team was quite responsive and helpful whenever issues occurred.

It may still be a good option for users closer to their server regions, but for users in Indonesia, I recommend choosing a provider with servers in Asia for better performance.
