awful customer service
I recently used AAACity Removalist and overall my experience was mixed. I paid for their service along with an additional $300 guarantee. After the move, I noticed that one of my items was broken. When I contacted them to raise the issue, they stated that the guarantee does not cover this situation, which was disappointing and showed a lack of proper customer support.
Their customer service was unhelpful, dismissive, and unwilling to take responsibility. The pricing also feels quite high considering the poor level of support provided.
The team who carried out the move were polite, respectful, and hardworking, but the company’s policies and customer service are awful. I do not recommend them.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re pleased to hear that you found our removalist team polite, respectful and hardworking, although we’re disappointed that your overall experience did not meet your expectations.
We understand that discovering damage to an item after a move is frustrating. Our protection and guarantee options do have specific terms and conditions, including requirements around inspecting and reporting any damage at the completion of the removal. These conditions are in place so that we can properly assess any issue while our removalist team is still onsite.
We do take customer concerns seriously, and we’re sorry you felt that our customer service was dismissive. That is certainly not the experience we want for our customers, and we would have preferred the opportunity to explain the applicable guarantee conditions more clearly.
AAA City Removalist has been helping families and businesses with local and interstate removals across Sydney and Australia for more than 20 years. We remain committed to providing reliable removalist services with Safety, Dependability & Empathy at the centre of what we do.
Thank you again for your feedback. We genuinely wish you all the best in your new home.
