Actual Removal helped me move from a 2nd floor flat to our new home 20 miles away. I spoke to Alison, who gave expert advice and a very competitive quote for removal of packed boxes and heavy items (bed/sofa/large unit).

Their two agents Carl and Owen came promptly on time and loaded up all our items quickly and without any damage to anything. Same brilliant service on the other side.

Couldn't recommend Actual more, in my experience.

In my younger days i was a removal man for 20 years and have also moved 15 times so I know something about removal companies and i would give these guys 10 out 10.The booking service was very helpful and efficient.
The men themselves was respectful of my home and my furniture and nothing was too much trouble.

Actual fitted us in at short notice and their service was excellent. We got the keys late but the guys were still very professional.

This firm was brilliant from the start with great communications from Alison in the office. The day before my move Jay arrived on his own to do my packing and I was amazed at how quick and organised he was. On the day of the move Steve and his two mates had cleared my house and garden by 12 noon ready for the two hour drive to my new home. They waited patiently while I collected the keys, and then systematically unloaded all my my furniture and belongings checking along the way where I wanted things to go. Steve helped me decide where to put my furniture which was a great help. I can’t speak highly enough of these guys, they had a great sense of humour but worked so hard all day. These guys made a stressful day so much easier for me. There were no breakages or damages to my belongings. I would highly recommend Actual Removal Co. and would definitely use them again. I used Actuals following a recommendation from my Grandma who raved about them after her move. This was my first ever real move, my partner had to work all day and I was on my own… but the guys from Actuals were absolutely amazing.
The whole process from start to finish, was faultless. Alison is absolutely lovely and all the guys at actuals are just so helpful. I was feeling so stressed before they turned up, however that soon changed. We had a good laugh and they put my mind at ease throughout the day!

We moved from Essex to Norfolk last month with the help of the actual team.
They were amazing throughout. From the visit to quote us all the way through to the move. We purchased a fragile pack which I would recommend to anyone. The team were friendly and courteous at all times. They couldn’t have done any more for us. When we arrived at our new house they were just as professional at the end of the day. Building beds and other furniture that had been dismantled. I can honestly report a zero breakage which is quite impressive.

The whole process from enquiry to the completion of the removal on the removal date was very professional, very friendly and very reasonably priced. The office staff were always happy to help and answer any queries and all the men who helped with the actual removal couldn’t have been more helpful. They were extremely quick, as well as very careful with all of my furniture and possessions and they caused no damage to any of my things or to any walls or doorways etc when moving large awkward furniture. I was extremely pleased with their services and couldn’t recommend them more.

We had Actual Removals to move us into rented accommodation in August. I haven’t got enough good words to say how fantastic the guys were. Also all the office staff from beginning to end. They arrived on time, were polite and friendly with good sense of humour which is what you need when moving. They told us exactly what they were going to do so that we were able to keep out of each other’s way while we were cleaning each room. A very professional company who I cannot recommend highly enough. Will definitely use again when we find our forever home.

We were recently moved by The Actual Removal company and everything was completely satisfactory in all respects. The personnel were all pleasant and cheerful and fast and proffesional. Nothing was broken or damaged, nothing was a problem or too much trouble and what is one of the most stressful things in life was without a doubt made easier by this team.

Very lovely staff to deal with both before the move and on the day. We had a pending booking for 2 weeks and only confirmed last minute due to late exchange but they were on them, had our belongings on the truck very swiftly and carefully and waited patiently whilst legal issues were resolved and we could unload to our new home. Very friendly, and very quick team who worked together well. can’t recommend enough

Arrived on time, loaded up efficiently, were sensitive to our cats(!). Managed to find our rather out-of-the-way new house and got there shortly after we did. Manoeuvred our cumbersome furniture without issue, and were happy to move it from room to room as we realised things weren't going to fit quite as we had hoped. Altogether a very smooth and painless experience, not as traumatic as we had been dreading.
