So, the penny has finally dropped that this person has scammed me. I can confirm that he gets quite intimidating when you bring up discrepancies in his behaviours and given the guilt I already had for filing late I acquiesced.

I genuinely trusted that he would help me and now that I've had a proper conversation with HMRC, I see that he didn't even contact them at all. I don't want to beat myself up but in hindsight, I see the signs glaring back at me, a huge lesson learned. The funny part (you have to laugh to keep from crying) is that he is now claiming to be dead LMAO, what a joke! My comfort comes from knowing that his guilt supersedes all of ours combined and he will never live a life of rest. God bless him and always follow your intuition people x

This guy is a scammer, takes your money and never answers calls or replies to text messages, And if you question him he gets angry and threatens to take you to court. He is a SHORT bald man I think he has short man syndrome. 😂😂😂😂

Scammer. Only time you here form him is wen he wants money, delt with hmrc myself in the end.haha reckons he's dead he just dodging out cos he's been rumbled as a scammer, see what the court says.

Dominic is nothing but an outright fraudster, who goes around masquerading as a Tax specialist. Avoid at all cost. All the positive reviews he has on Trust Pilot are fake. Gets very aggressive when confronted with the negative reviews. he tried to con me into making full payments but I refused only agreeing to part payment initially and the balance on completion of work. He of course disappeared with my initial deposit. Please do not ignore negative reviews, if you do, you do so at your peril. This is a repeat review as Trust Pilot took down my original review last year.

Dominic failed during my voluntary disclosure process in absolutely every possible way:
- was late in answering my requests every time (even after we have agreed between ourselves a reasonable deadline)
- did not pick some big mistakes in the calculations submitted to HMRC
- made some wrong recommendations which were rejected by HMRC
- at the end of the process, he just did not respond to messages any more.
This individual should be ashamed of his behaviour.

I rue the day I ever reached out to this vile, exploitative and abusive individual.

There were red flags early doors with him chasing payment or upselling almost immediately. I probably should've picked up on these but felt in a vulnerable place with my tax affairs.

Most absurdly for a self-proclaimed expert, he was wrong on multiple really simple issues of tax.

He will swear and threaten you if he doesn't like what you're saying or you give him the slightest push back or challenge.

His 'death' fits the pattern of absurd excuses.

Clearly I'm far from the only one he'd done this to. I'm sharing this in case he suddenly decides he's alive again and Admiral Tax is once again open for business. I hope he's pursued to the fullest extent for what he's done.

Avoid admiral tax at all costs.

1. They know very little about the tax system and are not tax inspectors.
2. Their advice is poor/wrong, which substantiates point 1
3. Most of the 5* reviews are fake
4. My experience is the same as the one-star reviews - Dominic (or whatever his real name is) is only interested in getting your money. However, you don't want him to act for you, as he'll do more damage than good.
5. Finally, he's not very bright - this faking the death thing, then re-opening the site - you couldn't make it up.

For tax advice, go to a reputable accounting firm. They are much, much cheaper and knowledgeable on tax, unlike admiral tax.

Vile person to do what he has done. After learning from HMRC the various lies he has told my girlfriend, the awful idea that he could have pretended to have died suddenly no longer seems unrealistic for him. If Dominic has passed away, I am sorry to offend anyone who reads this but I thoroughly believe this is not the case as a direct result of his treatment towards my partner throughout her experience with him. I wonder who would be updating his website to say ‘Too unwell to work’, to ‘dead’, back to ‘too unwell’, and then back to ‘dead’. He has an update dated 21st November 2022 about the current financial situation the country is in and how now is the perfect time to make a nominated disclosure!

He has a new email address on his webpage, a new Manchester Deansgate address (was formerly Warrington based) and seems to be continuing as business as usual in spite of leaving my girlfriend and many many others thousands of pounds out of pocket with nothing to show for it?! Is he for real?! You have to be sick to pretend to have died. I am hopeful I am wrong because this is just too disgraceful if otherwise.

This man made a load of promises about dealing with a simple accounting issue quickly, pushed me for a large bank transfer same day and was never heard from again. In fact a few days after I had paid him his website had some fake sounding message on about him being off work for a long long time. If that is the case, his family should have refunded my money. I have heard nothing back at all. Total scam and I will be reporting this to the relevant authorities.

Been chasing him for months and weeks - no updates and taken my money. Can’t get through to him and have no idea where I am on my queries…and now phone switched off…not sure where I stand with HMRC and really anxious. Very disappointing experience and poor service…will seek legal advice asap.

Dominic is not dead, he is not ill. He has taken your money and now he knows he is in a lot of trouble for committing fraud. He has no one who else updating his website nor responding for him. All updates on his website are him. This man is still giving everyone the run around! Scam artist!

Spoke to hmrc - he doesn’t appear to have done things correctly as they asked - now disappeared without explanation and a courtesy call - money down the drain - he was flakey from the start - I wonder how much money he’s pocketed in this disappearing act

I feel really stupid for trusting this man. My case is not resolved & I’ve paid him quite a bit of money. Empty promises and dragging his heals before he communicated with HMRC on my behalf. I’ve waited for months for him to get started. A SCAM.

I asked Dominic for a refund, he said he will but never heard from him again. Tried to contact him by phone and email to not avail. Found out his website is closed now so very likely I will never hear from him again.
Without any doubt, the worse experience I had in my life, just when I needed the best professional support. I could certainly say that dealing with him was much more stressful than the HMRC compliance enquiry itself. Taking legal action will be my next step

I contacted Dominic around 3 months ago to assist me with a tax disclosure. I’ve paid him for the service and all seemed to be on track. I last heard from him around 2 weeks ago but it’s I’ve not been able to get hold of him and now his website has been closed down. Is anyone else in a similar situation?

Delighted with the service provided by Dominic at Admiral Tax during a recent HMRC disclosure. My case is now settled with a significant tax saving and the minimum penalty.

Hi All, I returned to Admiral Tax recently for direction and advice following a previous positive experience using Admiral. They gave me so much free advice on inheritance tax and CGT. They were able to sort out a tax code problem I was having. Just a great company to deal with and would definitely recommend.
