3 days of no shows

I booked an appointment weeks in advance only to be called on the day at 4 PM to inform me that the engineer couldn't make it due to other customer work taking longer than expected. This was rescheduled for the next day, but the same thing happened again, and again on the third day. Three days of the same excuse. Considering the missed appointments beforehand, I would have hoped that someone would have understood the importance of customer service and ensured that an engineer came to the site.

This company is the best...

From the moment I called this company, they we're efficient and polite. The lady booked my job in, for the next day (amazing) I did call & ask what time (I'd forgotten to ask) Darren arrived just after lunch. Again really polite, professional and helpful. He explained everything he was checking/doing. What I needed and gave me a price. He completed the works, with a bright disposition. Explaining all the way through the fixings/fittings. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this company. Especially if we got Darren again. A friendly, professional. Really pleased. Tidied up, placing furniture back too. A big 👍 up from us.

Dreadful, unreliable and waste of time

Dreadful!
HomeVision have taken over from Aerialforce.
We changed all appointments for the date and cleared space for engineer’s visit then received call in afternoon that engineer held up on another job and could not come.
Arranged for next day visit and same thing happened.
Unreliable and waste of time.

Absolute rubbish company

Absolute rubbish company, I booked to have my aerial replaced over a week ago go and explained that there is scaffolding up so they can get to it as I live in a 3 story building, I also explained that due to work commitments it has to be done on a weekend which they booked it for a Saturday, I rang them on the day and they confirmed that an engineer would be out today and they would give me a call when they are on the way, I waited in all day and have now just received a call from them saying they can’t make it today even though I was told they will be here, absolute rubbish company I will never book with them again.

Bit of a rip-off

I booked an engineer to re-fit a sky dish. He did this, but also told me I needed a new LNB at a cost of £129+VAT as mine was broken and letting in water. I was lucky, as he didn't have one with him, otherwise I might have taken him at his word and paid up.
In fact, there was nothing wrong with my LNB and a direct/identical replacement from Amazon was less than £30 if I had needed one.

HAD A VISIT BOOKED FOR MONDAY 16TH…

HAD A VISIT BOOKED FOR MONDAY 16TH MARCH AT 2.30PM, AT 1.35PM GOT A CALL TO SAY ENGINEER WOULDNT BE COMING DUE TO PREVIOUS JOB TAKING TOO LONG TO SORT, WAS GIVEN ANOTHER APPOINTMENT FOR TUESDAY 17TH MARCH AT 2.30PM AGAIN, I GET A CALL TO SAY YET AGAIN THE ENGINEER WILL NOT BE ABLE TO ATTEND.

Extremely disappointed

Very disappointed. Having read the so called five star reviews I decided to contact the company and book an appointment. The engineer never turned up or called to say they were not coming despite waiting in all afternoon. A subsequent appointment was made for the following day and again another day wasted. The customer service could not commit to an engineer arriving on time and said they don’t work that way.
I f your looking for a reliable service this is company is not for you.

Don’t Waste Your Time, Use a Local Engineer Instead…..

** Update 16/03/26 - Just had a local company in and they’ve quoted me between £120 - £140 depending on whether he needs to use any of his own fixings (not including the bracket which I had already bought) - so Aerial Force being so useless has saved me £100-£120! Thank you AF!! **
Quoted £240 to fit a 65” tv using our own new bracket. Booking made for Friday 13th and received a call from them the afternoon before to tell me it’ll be a 8.30 - 9.00am appointment. Then telephoned me Friday morning to cancel that appointment and gave a new time of Friday afternoon. Engineer telephoned just after 2pm to say he would be with me after 4.30pm. Company called me again at 3pm to cancel the appointment all together but when I tried to explain the engineer had already called, the receptionist basically called me a liar, saying they hadn’t actually allocated the job to an engineer that day anyway. Utterly useless people.

Being let down on the day of your appointment, along with the conflicting information you received regarding the engineer’s attendance, is understandably frustrating. This is not the level of service we aim to provide, particularly where communication has not been clear or consistent.

We’re also disappointed to hear how the interaction with our team came across. This is not how we expect our customers to be spoken to, and your feedback has been noted so we can review this internally.

With regards to pricing, the figures provided at the time of booking are guide prices, with a confirmed quote given on-site before any work is carried out.

Harry arrived on time, very smart and knows what he’s doing, wore protective gear over his shoes and got the job done, tidied up afterwards, 100 % recommend this company and would use again

Awful company

Awful company, extremely unreliable overly priced and the most dishonest service.
Do not use this company. Appalling
lack of communication, some serious training needs to be had. From reading other reviews seems like we all have the same issue.
Still waiting on refund that was promised, they are keeping the “Call out/diagnostic fee” in which they didn’t even correctly identify. Just a generally horrendous company.

Appalling service

Appalling service. Let us down three separate times after my wife and I had taken time off from work. Complained to management who didn't even get back to us after confirming they would.

Rude, indifferent and clearly don't care about good customer service and care. Avoid at all costs and choose another service as we ended up doing.

I booked a checkup on a free view dish…and got taken on

I booked a checkup on a free view dish the engineer checked cable at the box & told me the signal was weak that is why called him out, the did not check dish on side of bungalow 12 ft high billed me for £96 & give me a price to replace dish £595.80, a dish cost £50.00 which makes over £500 pound . when he left the Freesat did not work as he had left it unplugged at rear of unit & I had some one in as I am 87 & find in hard to get in tight spots .criminal service,i old but not that silly.m.keleher

The visit in this case was booked as a satellite diagnostic to investigate the reported loss of signal. The diagnostic charge covers the engineer attending and assessing the system to determine the cause of the fault. Following this assessment, a quotation was provided for the recommended work, allowing you to decide whether you wished to proceed.

We are concerned to read your comment that the equipment may have been left unplugged following the visit. That is certainly not the standard of service we aim to provide and we will feed this back internally.

Refitting the Satellite Dish

Just a terrible experience on the second visit. We had not been informed beforehand that the price would be over double what we had been told on the first visit when the dish was given temporary siting.
Also there was no attempt to clear up the brick dust afterwards and the wires were iust unsightly and we then had to arrange them more discreetly and neatly. Also felt uncomfortable when we had to complete the payment with the engineer.
Also we don't know how you got the job as we thought it was going to be Sky !

Having reviewed the job notes, the visit involved resiting the satellite dish along with the necessary fixings and alignment. The initial price provided when booking is a guide price, with the engineer providing a final quotation on site once the work has been assessed, allowing customers to decide whether they wish to proceed.

We also apologise that the first visit was unable to complete the work due to the engineer not having the required equipment. This is not the level of preparation we expect and we understand that this would have been frustrating.

Left feeling totally ripped off

Left feeling totally ripped off. Was it a bait and switch scam? Quoted a low price and ended up paying over £500 to repair a tv aerial. Lesson learned. Don’t use

Terrible with a hint of scammy

Terrible! Customer service non existent. First visit was cancelled last minute as ‘van broke down’. When the installer turned up a few days later he firstly announced he has not brought the part, so why turn up? Then the next week every day I get a call in the morning to say he isn’t coming today, there are more important jobs. They advertise same day installation, it has taken me over a week to get someone to site!

A very dodgy set-up with no control or organisation - I would avoid!

The engineer said he would do it for cash on side - I should have just said yes and the job would be done!

Get a quote first and shop around

Well, the engineer was cheery and personable. Probably essential when you're going to charge £238 to fit a new LNB which is £12-15 wholesale.
I should have charged him for the tea.

Having reviewed the job notes, the visit involved a diagnostic to investigate the loss of channels on the system, followed by the replacement of the quad LNB and testing to ensure the signal and channels were restored. Charges reflect the overall service provided, including the diagnostic work, installation, access requirements and warranty on the supplied equipment, rather than solely the cost of the component itself.

As with all of our jobs, the work and associated costs would have been discussed on site before proceeding, allowing customers to decide whether they wish to go ahead.
