Quick shout out to Isaac for resolving my issues super fast - much appreciated!

What the hell is the point in buying a "coffee maker" aeropress if it cannot heat its own water ??? By definition it's NOT a coffee maker. Especially the aeropress "to go" is a laugh. You need to take the whole thing with its accessories AND a kettle AND find where to plug it, of course !!! What do you do in the middle of nowhere ???
Absolutely NONSENSE ITEM !

I bought my aeropress in the mistaken belief that it would make espresso with lots of crema. Having used it a few times, I am yet to produce any crema! In fact the coffee produced is no better (or worse) than that produced in my cafetiere. I use quality, Ethiopian beans, ground to medium in a Krups grinder. One thing I will say is that the aeropress is incredibly messy to use, especially when it comes to cleaning it out. I'm going back to my cafetiere! I will leave a warning... take care using glass cafetieres. I had one burst whilst filling it with near-boiling water and received a serious burn on my thigh and foot, which required hospital treatment! I now have stainless steel cafetieres and WILL NEVER use a glass one again!

I go back a long, long way with Aeropress, use three or four times a day, So far back it was when Alan A was customer service (the inventor of Aeropress). You worry that new owners will lose the plot. I'm happy that's not the case. I emailed with an issue and heard nothing, then I got a fulsome apology, they'd found my email in spam even better the agent quickly and efficiently resolved my query.

They sell used products as new. Ordered an aeropress premium from them, they sent me one that was clearly used and returned by someone else. Plunger heavily scratched up. It took them nearly a week to get it and there's no option for faster shipping.

I wish I could add photos of the damaged plunger. I don’t know why they think coffee drinkers paying almost $200 for an aeropress made of glass and aluminum and steel are going to be okay with receiving someone else’s second hand returned product as new.

Never got my order . They said it went missing in delivery and refused to send another one or refund me. Worst online customer experience ive ever received .

I have tried various ways of making ground coffee without having to invest in very expensive "pod" machines. This seems to be the best option because it's so convenient and easy to use.

I received it as a birthday present about 10 years ago and it is still working well (I use it about twice a week), although the rubber seal has become a little loose so I feel that it may not last much longer, in which case I'm pretty sure that it can be reattached with some superglue.
It came with a generous amount of paper filters and because I wash and reuse the paper filters, they have lasted me for all these years and I still have plenty left.

It's so easy to just pour from an electric kettle directly into this filter, push the coffee through and then rinse the unit and its scoop and stirrer. You can even make about 3 or 4 cups from one Aeropress and then top up each cup with boiling water if you want a larger coffee.

One downside I would mention is that the process of passing the hot water through the press and its filter, cools your coffee down a little so that it is less hot than if the coffee was made in a stove-top espresso maker or if you poured directly from an electric kettle into a cup containing instant coffee.

Big fan of the aeropress but wish their replacement parts were made more affordable as it's currently cheaper to buy a new one than to replace two parts of my existing brewer. Reasonable shipping costs and kudos for selling replacements at all though. More companies should do this!

I ended up smashing my Aeropress Go in anger following a bad burn and then a week later a second explosion of coffee.

Basically it is a pointless machine, and if used inverted, dangerous.

Used in its intended position with filters down, it is pointless. You may as well use a regular coffee filter as the coffee immediately starts dripping through the filter into the cup with a token plunge at the end.

If used inverted, which is the recognised way of actually make decent coffee in the machine, it is simply not reliably safe. I used mine for about 6 months with a few mishaps. Even a pro won't get through a year without at least 1 accident, which is not acceptable when dealing with boiling water.

After filling a narrow gap in the upside down machine with coffee and water, you then have to navigate - 1. getting the filter on without it exploding or tipping up, made harder as the filter cap is harder to turn when grains of coffee or water are in the gaps - which happens because the thing is inverted, then; 2. flipping the thing over with boiling water and then press down hard to plunge, at which point any poor seals or gaps will lead to a leak, with coffee granules escaping etc, or worse, once in a while you will have a massive explosion of boiling water and coffee grains. There are various points at which this can go wrong, and it won't until it does, which it will, probably at 6am when you are about to get on a flight.

So do yourself a favour, buy a proper coffee machine, stick with filter, plunger or a hob top coffee pot - which the coffee the aeropress makes does not compare to anyway.

Completely overrated and unsafe. If I was in the USA I would probably have sued by now.

Re AeroPress Filters Pack - 350pcs:
These are the correct size for the filter cap of the Aeropress. They arrived quickly. The price was good. I recently purchased "other" filters (NOT from this firm) that are just a little bit smaller. They fall out - not good. Thanks to aeropress.co.uk for quick service and selling the genuine article.

I contacted the company as I had a small issue using the Aeropress (we have had one for a few years). The email support was timely, helpful and a complimentary replacement part arrived the next day. Excellent customer service.

A must for coffee lovers! Teamed with excellent beans, the aeropress makes the smoothest cold press we've ever tasted, it's robust enough to have seen us through years of use and compact enough for travel. Couldn't be without it!

Makes excellent coffee. The only minor complaint is the filter container has a problem with closing.

Easy to use and to test stuff and no hassle with cleaning. AeroPress is definitely a great product (if one likes coffee and the process to make it).

I have a relatively old Aeropress, which, in fact, really started me on my journey to better coffee; however, in due course, I purchased an electric, lever, espresso machine, and tend to use the Aeropress now only for travelling and holiday purposes.

Over the years, rough striations have appeared, in the upper part of the inside of the tube which did not, initially, seem to interfere with the process, and were merely cosmetic.

However, later, I started to notice that coffee was coming up, into the chamber, behind the plunger, when I was pressing it down, which was, naturally, problematical.

I thought that somewhere I had seen that one could buy a replacement rubber plunger, and started to investigate that on the Internet, recently, which took me to the website of Aeropress themselves, and a comment that they had a small and friendly customer service team, who were always interested in hearing from people.

Accordingly, I telephoned, and got to speak to an assistant manager, by the name of Kate Harrison. Kate was extremely friendly and helpful and explained, to me, how, indeed, one could replace the rubber plunger, and how, sometimes, the striations did appear, in the early models (they have changed the plastic material now), which might not interfere with the coffee making procedure, if I were to replace the rubber plunger . However, she did mention that, sometimes they replaced devices under warranty. Somewhat tongue in cheek, bearing in mind how long I have had my device, I asked, politely, of course, whether they might consider replacing mine, and, to my pleasant surprise she said she would, and it arrived, yesterday, as promised, without my being asked even to pay for the postage. For completeness, I did send her a photograph of the striated unit.

To my mind, this is customer service, par excellence, which is something of a rarity, these days, where, when one telephones, one is invariably faced with the often impenetrable wall of voice menus and irritating pop music, and it is virtually impossible to speak to a human being at all.

All I can say is that I can wholeheartedly recommend this Company, its products and its five-star customer service.

Absolutely love this! It’s so simple, easy to use, easy to clean and really great coffee. Quick delivery and I have to say, the customer service was second to none, fast, efficient and friendly. Very happy!

Ground-breaking design (sorry about the pun). As a coffee lover I've tried all the coffee makers out there, and Aeropress coffee is as good as the thousand-pound professional barista contraptions out there. The team behind it are lovely too, taking the time to correspond with me when I insisted on getting one for every member of my family lol.
