They are all about money, money , money.
Most of the staff have poor English and have difficulty in understanding simple requests.
I have contacted them seven times looking for a copy of a report and each time they come up with different excuses. The MRI procedure was fine but their follow up and communication leave a lot to be desired.

Used this service referred form GP for my elderly dad. Appt scheduling initially fine although they rang the wrong contact number. All good getting MRI and results. Then they keep ringing my dad to schedule appt which stresses him out and confuses everyone. Have had to ring them back 3 times to tell them he’s had his appointment and they shouldn’t be calling him on the number they have. Something very wrong with their customer service. Not connected to the actual place where you go for you scan so lots of miscommunication and duplication. It took 10 full working days until my ultrasound referral was even acknowledged. (The phone says it can take up to 48 hours.)
Who ever runs the clinic needs to realise that as patients we are in the need of scans as we are/gp is concerned about our health.
Thankfully I got my ultrasound done in cherrywood all within 4 working days - from referral to the scan been done.

Rudest staff member I have ever encountered while at the Dundrum centre. We were the only two people in the waiting room and was told that I could not sit with my 16-year old in the waiting room (that has space for about 40 people) and I would have to wait outside as that’s the policy.
When I tried to point out that we were the only people there and there was plenty of space, she got more annoyed and said that this is the policy and we didn’t need to stay if we didn’t want to.
Unbelievably poor service and obvious that they are getting money paid by the big insurers in Ireland so they don’t care about the patients.

Resultados de la resonancia en un sobre blanco sin membrete y abierto y CD rom sin protección. Esto en el pasado no era así. Solía estar bien presentado. Y además el CD rom dice q la resonancia fue sin contraste, lo cual es erróneo.

To cold to make people undress
I went to Cork affidea for a MRI. I was made to take all my clothes off and put a gown on. This is normal procedure but there was no heating in the building it was freezing. Don't they charge enough to heat the place. It was January, luckily I had a lift so heated up quickly but if I had to catch a bus I'd of never warmed up . affidea is risking people's health not acceptable.

Went to Affidea with a badly infected big toe which had a big pus filled blister. I said to the doctor that it needed to be lanced and he said “No, that’s been caused by the application of antiseptic cream” and he prescribed oral antibiotics, drew a circle on my toe below the infection and said if the redness went over that to go to A&E. I spent a horrible night in pain and the infection spread. I had heard there waiting times of over 10 hours at Dublin public A&Es so I went to Blackrock Clinic A&E the next day. Blackrock usually has you in and out in 2 hours which was a better option than sitting in a public hospital for hours with the infection continuing to spread. I was advised at Blackrock that the toe should have lanced the day before, that healing could not start until it had been lanced. This is the second time I attended Affidea with an infection and they mismanaged my treatment and I ended up in A&E. I
Turns out it was the same doctor both times.

Llevo años haciéndome las ecografías(y otras pruebas radiológicas) en sAffidea. Todo bien hasta el pasado jueves 19 de diciembre(9:30h)
me hicieron(como cada año) la ecografía abdominal completa(incluyendo renal).
El doctor tardó 5 minutos en terminar(otros años alrededor de 15 minutos).
Le dije extrañado: Ya terminó doctor? Le dije que había bebido agua y me parecía corto el examen.
Han paso los días y hoy me dan los resultados(no me examinó ni las vías urinarias ni la próstata). Así entiendo la rapidez.
Me puse en coctacto con affidea en dos correos: es_calidad 2affidea.com y
Me contestaron que estaban esperando la respuesta del ecografista(pero tan rápido para examinar y tan lento para contestar) El pasado marte lo comuniqué en el hoapital Vot san Francisco. También sin respuesta. Así que se lo he comunivado a Caser, la aseguradora médica, para ver si al menos tienen la dignidad de responder.
Les envié resultados del pasado año y de este para que vieran las diferencias y cita en la que indicaban que debía llegar habiendo bebido agua llena...

Awful place, security harass you for parking, just keep saying luas machines. Very little English, no help. Receptionist just shouts over you. Hated it

When trying to park in the carpark, the receptionist has a terrible attitude. I couldn't understand where he said to park,he then came running out of the building to tell me I parked in the wrong spot. When I advised I couldn't hear where he said to park I got back "I don't care what you say buddy". Very negative experience l.
Very efficient service
After referral from doctor I got an MRI scan within a few days (Dundrum) scheduled at 11:40 (be there 20 mins early). I arrived at 11:20, in the scanner by 11:40 and out of there at 12:05. The results will appear on my app and will be sent back to GP. Really efficient process. Thank you.
Poor Customer Service
I contacted Affidea through my app account and asked for an appointment (6 months after being referred by my doctor to Affidea) and got no response.
My doctor contacted them again, and I got a link very promptly but just spinning at the end when I try and pay for appointment. I contacted them through the app and no one has contacted me, tried ringing (Cork) and no one is answering the phone, just keeps ringing out. Really poor customer service.
Affidea's payment method is against the The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679
The agent of company on the phone requested all my banking details, including the card secure pin on the card's back side, for the upfront payment for scheduling an appointment. I asked him to send me a payment link on my email or to my phone number instead, otherwise he must provide his role and his full name. That he refused and got emotional, and started shout and interrupted, then he said if I do not give him my bank card details right now, then he would cancel the offered date and time for the appointment. To sort this issue I visited the Cork affiliate, they confirmed that those agent was wrong and should not require my banking details. I already have huge doubts regarding the legitimacy of this company because their agents are acting as the scammers by requesting the customer's
bank details on the company behalf. Seem like affidea is not able to provide standard and secure way for payment so WHY??
Affidea discovered the problem
Was eventually referred to affidea by my GP after 2 years of pain after falling off ladder.The service was brilliant,identified a fracture in hip area by MRI previously unidentified by hospital,last week had surgery and hopefully recovering. If it wasn't for affidea would be in pain for many more years,would highly recommend this service for efficiency,prompt service,and ease of access. Many thanks Affidea
Affidea Expresscare Northwood Unprofessional Medical Staff
Affidea Expresscare Northwood used to be a professional clinic not so now.
I attended last week after a fall and was called in after approx an hour. I was assessed by a nurse and told that I was next in line that the Dr had stepped out for two minutes. Another nurse put her head in the curtain and asked if I needed painkillers that I declined she then reiterated that the Dr had just stepped out for 2 mins for something to eat to which I replied that this would probably take a half hour. She then launched into a tirade about the Dr being entitled to something to eat and that she had been on her own for the morning and for the past two days. None of this is anything that I needed to know or wanted to hear if the nurse and Dr have issues with their employers that is who needs to hear their grievances. The Dr returned after about 25 mins and sent me for xray following this she said I needed my hand in a splint and i was to come back to the fracture clinic. The nurse returned to do the splint commenting "whats wrong have you a sore finger" as if I was wasting her time and should not be there. Totally unprofessional behaviour the whole experience left me reluctant to return and would not recommend their services. Affidea needs to get their act together and employ more staff so this behaviour from the disgruntled staff does not continue in the interest of the patients.

UPDATE**
finally got Through to an agent who rescheduled my appointment to another clinic. I credibility rude and condescending person on the phone I actually can't believe people with this attitude can work in these places, I would understand if I was shouting and complaining but I wasn't. I did an MRI and can't access the images so I asked if she can resend the link. She said I will ask the department and they will do it 'if they have time, but I can't promise' ?? Honestly. I give up.
