Hi,
I appreciate that the company has ceased trading but I have 2 questions:

1. What happens to the 15 year guarantee?
2. I had integral blinds inside my bi-fold doors. Which company provided the blinds as I do not think they were manufacture by Alpine Aluminium and where can I purchase replacement battery packs for the blinds?

Hope someone out there can help me.

We placed two orders with this diabolical company. First order Consevatory- high spec was promised. The supposed completed work was atrocious and took over a month to rectify. We had an abusive phone conservation with Dean(a manager?) Demanding money which he was advised would be paid on completion
Second order Windows & door- date set and confirmed no fitted Rrived, no explanation . Rang the company no answer. Luckily we had not paid a deposit as we had agreed due to the mess up with the conservatory we would again pay on completion. I would no recommend this company

Do not use this company, total waste of time. Invalid Web address, take your deposit, and when cancel the deal, you don't get your deposit back!!!! Need reporting to rouge traders

I feel I have to write after reading the awful ratings from angry customers. My experience was fantastic... they waited a long time for us to complete as we had delays with the building work. Looks like my good fortune was we were there well before Covid began causing them problems?... 2 years before. Was really sorry to hear they are no longer trading. Fabulous quality 3 track sliding patio doors at a very fair price....

Abysmal standard of work !!! We had 7 windows fitted by these bunch of cowboys the standard of workmanship is terrible ,two young lads were the fitters, the mitres on the corners of the bay window had a gap big enough to put your fingers in ! so I told them to get them changed, they had smashed the corner off the window board and tried to cover it by pulling a chair tight up to it so you couldn't see it .The bay window is so draughty you can see the vertical blinds swaying gently from side to side ! really cold in winter ! ,none of the window handles shut properly ,I finished the siliconing round the windows off which they had left in a state ,to top it off we kept getting some clown of a sales rep ( Paul ) kept phoning saying he could "do us a deal " on doors because we were good customers ,I told him I would rather Stevie Wonder had fitted the windows as he would have done a better job !! I have worked in construction all my life so know what I'm talking about when I say do NOT use this set of cowboys ,make sure it's not the firm they have set up again to carry on ripping decent people off ,don't know how they have got away with it ,should be doing fine for fraud !!

Avoid! Paid deposit to representive for windows but after 6 days canceled before measurements been taken as seen so many bad reviews! Now it's been 7 weeks and they are just ignoring me! In the office woman said that the bloke who took the money will contact me, obviously he didn't! So rang up him after couple of weeks and he said that he not been in the office and seen the refund slip so he will contact me later-that's never happened! Sent them email and they are not responding!

Dreadful experience. We ordered patio doors from them last year and paid in full (big mistake). They failed to deliver on 7 separate occasions with reasons such as machine breakdown, faulty powder coating and an operations manager who had overbooked fittings. When they did eventually turn up, two doors fell out of the frame during fitting and smashed on the patio. They left the site without tidying up the broken glass and promised to return to refit. They never did and went into liquidation just before Xmas. Then they set a new company under their wives names 6 days later. By writing this review my hope is that no-one else falls into the trap of ordering anything from the Davison/Howells families. Do your research and check companies house before you order.

How is it possible that this company has any 5 star ratings given their shoddy service and then closing themselves down, leaving people in the lurch with either incomplete jobs or worse still un-started jobs - has anyone actually made contact with any of their suppliers as the doors i bought are missing a vital mechanism - if i can find out who builds these then maybe i can complete the job myself.... or does anyone know what their "reinvented" name is??

I have been questioning the 5 Star Reviews on the website for Alpine Aluminium. To my eyes, many of them looked unconvincing.

I raised this with Trustpilot and I found their replies unsatisfactory.

Has anyone else chased Trustpilot on this. By publishing these rather unconvincing 5 Star reviews, Trustpilot lends credence and respect to this dreadful outfit.

My friend James had a Cat! he wanted some new doors and windows for the Cat house.... He is still waiting for the Cat house windows to be finished... I am sending Michael Barrymore round as a Lifeguard

After having alote of work done by this company for alote of money there work is shabby and not up to standard
The roof is leaking bad and after contacting the company on a number of occasions
They have not been in touch and we still have the problem now to take the matter further

Having spent the last 6 months chasing these clowns to fix the bodge job they did installing my doors i actually feel lucky having read now how badly some of the people on here have been robbed of large sums of money - at least I have doors in , even if they don't work properly.

Cowboys and con artists. I'd sooner ask a bunch of common garden slugs to have a crack at double glazing than these unscrupulous clowns. Get the Alpine Aluminium experience by throwing your money on the fire and poking a finger up your ar5e whilst listening to hold music.

I'd encourage everybody to start believing in karma as these ****s are due an enormous payout.

I ordered a new front door in good faith before Christmas only to find out the company is in liquidation and I will lose my £410 deposit. Fortunately I used a credit card so I have some opportunity for a refund once I get written proof of the present situation. I have spoken to Oliver Anderson at Begbies Traynor (tel no 0113 244 0044) who are the administrators. He is happy to send me written confirmation but I understand that customers are at the bottom of the list when payments are being made from this company if they haven’t got credit card company protection. I feel so much for the other customers who have lost thousands of pounds. What an appalling situation and what a disgusting thing to do to genuine trusting people. I know companies run into financial difficulties but this company is different in that it has happened to them several times apparently and they just set themselves up again in different names, this time the names of their wives. They should all be extremely ashamed. But I don’t suppose people like them experience shame or guilt.

I too have been ripped off for a very large amount of money.

Thanks for giving us the correct administrators details as it appears I have been wasting my time with the wrongly informed Rushtons also. As the Facebook page has been taken down I wonder just how many of the ripped off customers are even aware of this information

so saddened. I was pressured & told to I had to pay a 5.000 deposit for windows even though they wouldn't be needed for 7 months.
I paid by cheque & was promised I had an insurance guarantee.
I have tried to phone & email to get the surveyor to measure our openings which are now devoid of windows.

last night I found out the company has liquidated. I am in my 60's with a part time income we have lost 5.000 pounds. I haven't had the heart to tell my husband.
Connor, the salesman, was a sweet person & I can't believe he knew.
he must feel awful for us.
I am devastated & don't know which way to turn as we now have a home with openings for windows & no actual windows. how am I going to afford any windows now ?
i'm at a loss. I have some money left but not enough to do the windows.
I am trying to count my blessings & feel so sorry for the other people who have ordered windows & have lost all their money. also, for those at alpine who have lost their jobs.
I hope they are going to be alright. To those who have lost money I do know how you feel & I hope the liquidators will help us.

This company is an absolute disgrace. They took a deposit from me on the 2nd December. The surveyor did not turn up when he was supposed to and came a week later (13th December). Since then I heard nothing. No replies to emails or phone calls. I contacted the surveyor who told me that they went into administration on the 24th December. I intend to pursue the directors personally.

I contacted Alpine early December 2019 and spoke to Ross organised delivery for Jan 2020 paid my deposit only to hear they have now gone bust

AVOID THIS COMPANY OR YOU WILL REGRET IT – I had contacted them to get two sets of sliding doors. It was the biggest mistake. Do not make the same mistake. Everything changes after you sign the papers and pay the deposit. This company is a scam. They lie to you about important details such as the payment process. Once the deposit is paid, they avoid you and you have to keep chasing after them. They just tell you what you want to hear and brush you off but nothing actually happens. I ended up having to cancel my order as they kept lying and twisting what was said previously. This company is all talk - no action. Nobody in this company follows the terms and conditions. They wouldn’t refund me the deposit and I will be suing the company as I didn’t receive any services from them apart from the surveyor. I would understand if part of the deposit was taken off for the surveyor but the rest should have been refunded. These people are unreasonable liars. AVOID!!

I used Alpine four years ago and was happy with what we received then. They delivered on time and came back to change a faulty glass panel without any questions.

This time around its been a different story!!! They have had almost £7,000 from me. Promised me and my client a install date of 6th January. Once Ross received the £7K he was difficult to get hold of. Countless calls, no answer, countless emails no answer. I managed to get the surveyors, (Chris's) mobile number and as soon as he heard my voice he kept putting the phone down on me. It seems these people were taking money from people knowing they couldn't deliver. Deception is what it is! Absolutely sickening!!!
