Contacted this company to complain about St James's Place. My first contact (with a legal/paralegal) was encouraging. However from that point on it became clear that they had no intention of acting in my best interests and just wanted me to agree to a sub par settlement as quickly as possible. I am now plagued by daily emails and text messages urging me to agree and it has been impossible to speak to someone meaningful on the phone. This is despite me telling them that I am taking my case up with the financial ombudsman and I no longer want their assistance as they have failed to represent my case properly. I can honestly say that I wish I had never contacted them in the first place. I've no idea whether the outcome will be any better but at least there is a chance that it will be.

Keep texting me to tell me they have sent me an email containing important update regarding my claim - no email received. So i sent them an email last week and they cant be bothered to reply. Stop texting me please!

Got offered alot less than they told me and toke 3 x longer possible could of better myself but they got there cut

Superb service - kept me informed at all times and yes, whilst they took a chunk of what I was owed, I am still pleased with the outcome.

I received some marketing emails from AMK around SJP and the possibility that I could get some money back from SJP due to them charging clients for meetings that did not take place.
Normally I would not respond to such emails, but I thought what have I got to lose.

I only needed to give them a few bits of information, and they did the rest.

I started the process at the at the beginning of April 2025 and today I got a cheque for circa £1.6k

It was so simple and took up none of my time.

I have received a baffling message stating that I have been credited with a payment of £0.00 in respect of my claim!! Some explanation required surely??

After a successful claim, I referred my wife who also had a successful claim.

I had very little hope of receiving any sort of redress from Quilter, as a result of losing part of my investment with them some time ago. However after contacting AMK legal I was delighted to have been awarded some compensation, as a result of them taking up my complaint. Even though the amount I received did not cover all my losses I am extremely grateful to AMK for their assistance in gaining a reasonable settlement. Lastly I should mention that throughout my claim I was regularly kept informed with updates, and happily received my payment on the specified date provided to me by AMK.

Honestly, thought this could be a scam, but gave it a go whatever. Correspondence between AMK Legal was brilliant from start to finish, with conditions laid out satisfactorily. I needed to contact them and they were super helpful. I was a little worried giving out bank details, but within a couple of days payment was credited to my account, just when we needed it.
I'm so glad I took the plunge and made a claim.

No problems at all. I'm hopeless with the computer but one phone call got the ball rolling and G - B took it from there. Money arrived in my account and I paid their fee within minutes. All done!!
