I had a very upsetting experience. A security guard approached me and my friends, became aggressive when we didn’t understand his Dutch, and forced us out. He handled us roughly and shouted at us, and we were not offered a refund. He also made comments about my ethnicity and targeted me, while ignoring my white friend beside me. It felt discriminatory and humiliating. I do not recommend this place especially for Black visitors and tourists. Avoid.

Die online Ticketbuchung hat bei 50% der Gruppe nicht funktioniert; ansonsten preislich okay für eine Hauptstadt, bei Buchung im Vorfeld 10 Euro für Männer, Frauen 5 Euro plus jeweils ca. 1,60€ Transaktionsgebühr. Nur Apple/Google Pay oder Kredit/Debitkarten, kein Paypal.

Getränke: 3,5/10
Zusammensetzung wie folgt:
*Preis 2/10* da selbst unter Berücksichtigung der Tatsache, dass es sich um einen sehr zentralen Club in Amsterdam handelt ist die Preisgestaltung sehr fordernd. Par’s example 14,50€ für Mischgetränke 0,3l. Für Bier (Bavaria) 0,25 6€ und Wasser in selber Größe 5€.
*Geschmack 5/10* Absoluter Standard, nichts auszusetzen aber auch nichts was positiv erwähnenswert in Erinnerung bleiben würde.

Ambiente 5/10
Schön gemacht, nichts offensichtlich versifft oder beschädigt, Dancefloor sauber, nichts klebrig oder sonstiges. Zu erwähnen ist allerdings, dass kaum mehr als 50 Leute gleichzeitig auf dem floor waren. Abzug dafür, dass es keine Sitzmöglichkeiten gab. Außerdem war unter der Woche lediglich 1 Floor auf. Sound stellenweise sehr übersteuert, extreme Bässe.

Music 3/10
RMX war music theme, quasi jeder Song wurde bloß angespielt und dann mit merkwürdigen Übergangen von anderen Songs abgelöst wo sich ebendies wiederholte. Anfangs besser als im Verlauf, es kamen zunehmend mir unbekannte EDM Songs die kaum von der crowd angenommen wurden und lediglich toleriert wurden, da alle 3-4 Songs dann ein bekannter Hit eingestreut wurde.

Personal 8/10
Alle freundlich und zuvorkommend in Erinnerung geblieben, lediglich eine Barkeeperin hat sich sehr abgenervt gegeben obwohl absolut nichts los war für einen Club der damit wirbt, dass er der größte der Niederlande sei.

Raucherbereich 4/10
War draußen vor dem Eingang mit Zäunen separiert, schätzungsweise 12 Quadratmeter an der Straße.

Garderobe 5/10
Die Garderobe ist mit Schließfächern realisiert. Darin sehe ich Fluch und Segen zugleich, einerseits ist es total sinnvoll da man jederzeit an seine Sachen herankommen kann und sie einfach wieder einschließen kann. Andererseits ist es total ärgerlich wenn man zu, Beispiel seine nasse Jacke 5 Stunden zusammengeknüllt in diesem Spind lassen muss. Kleine Spinde können maximal 3 normaldimensionierte Jacken aufnehmen, große Schränke kosten 10€ und fassen das doppelte.

Nun komme ich zur absolut größten und fast schon sträflichen Kritik!

Toilettensituation -2/10
Pro (!!!) Toilettengang 1€. EIN EURO! So etwas gehört schlichtweg verboten in einem Lokal wo Gäste sich wohlfühlen sollen, trinken und längerfristig verweilen. Außerdem gab es für den gesamten Club 4 Toiletten, keine Pissoirs sondern nur Unisexkabinen. Das einzig positive ist, dass die Toiletten wirklich sauber waren zu jeder Zeit.
Um mein Unmut zum Ausdruck zu bringen habe ich ein Haiku über die Toiletten verfasst.

Ein stiller Ort, doch
der Preis für Erleichterung –
würdevoll? Kaum noch.

Alles in allem kann man gute Zeit dort verbringen, wenn man sich über einige Umstände im voraus im Klaren ist und davon nicht gänzlich überrumpelt wird. Daher rührt auch die Motivation für diese Rezension.

Avoid at All Costs!!
My experience at this club was absolutely horrible and unacceptable. I love going out with my friends, but this was so bad.. girls don’t go! I went with two girlfriends, hoping for a fun night out, but it turned into a nightmare. The music was mid at best, and the environment was extremely disrespectful. One man even sexually harassed my friend by lifting her skirt, which is beyond disgusting.
When we reported this to security, they completely dismissed it and let the man stay. This kind of neglect is outrageous and unsafe. The lack of action from the staff shows how little they care about their patrons' well-being.

On top of that, the club is overpriced and nowhere near worth the money.
The disrespectful crowd, mid music, and lack of safety make this place the worst l've ever b to. Do yourself a favour and stay far way.

And girls, the guys are ugly and disrespectful. It can’t get worse, trust me.

I went out to Escape with my friends last weekend. I just want to share this experience, because you have to be careful when you buy drinks in Escape. It looks like, when you are drunk, you seem to forget to pay attention to the drinks you.

One of the girl bartender charges me 26 euro for 2 beers and 1 water. When I ask, are you sure about the price? She was smiling innocently that she made mistakes.

This is not the first time happened, so check the price and make sure you know what you pay or buy?

It looks like to me, they take an advantage from you being drunk. I hope the management take some actions on this SCAM!!!!

The guy from security kicked me out for the fact that I'm giving lollipop for free for the girls inside

We were not the first at an escape room and we like it very much too! People who love escape rooms will love that too.

We just want to say we had a great time staying with Amsterdam Escape.
From the moment we booked to the time we checked out the service we received was outstanding.

They offer a level of customer service that cannot be beaten, I have booked with AirB&B, booking.com and many others and trying to contact ith a living talking human at their customer service is impossible and on purpose. They just do not want customers contacting them.

AmsterdamEscape is different. They have real people answering your call directly, no maddening computer answering systems asking you endless questions and switching you from operator to operator , you get contact right away, another way is their LIVE CHAT system which we used it before we booked and it worked great. The girls were able to answer our questions and offer us different choices in different areas we were interested in staying.

When we did arrive in Amsterdam we were no sooner off the plane when we received a text message from them saying if we had any questions or problems with the apartment we booked during our stay we should contact them happily we did not have too.

We did call them for to arrange the check out time as we forgot to arrange on check in.

All in all I think this company deserve 5 stars for their level of customer service which theses days is hard to find from vacation rental operators.

Myself and my partner returned from Amsterdam, we were visiting for the Gay Pride celebrations and we had one amazing time.

Our 1st time in Amsterdam for both of us and we had a ball and he accommodation nd location made it extra special.

We opted for an apartment instead of a hotel room as its nice to be able to cook breakfast and make a cut of tea or a sandwich.

We booked with AmsterdamEscape their Amsterdam Hollywood apartment. It was perfect for us, perfect in every way and a real experience for 1st timers like ourselves.

Hollywood has lots of Hollywood stuff all over the place, a PlayStation, DVDs and lots more.

Lovely canal views to watch the world go by on the water.

The house manager, Mo was a cool chilled out guy who helped us out a few times during our stay.

We would both recommend Amsterdam Hollywood apartment to a couple looking for a relaxing clean place to stay.

We'll be back.

We had a fantastic time in Amsterdam, and the Hollywood apartment we stayed in was a big part of our enjoyment.

Everything went as we had hoped and the apartment was - modern, clean, warm, well equipped, everything worked, and we could smoke in the apartment - plus, the location was fantastic in terms of being in a central location with access to almost everything in the immediate vicinity.

The arrangements were easy, AmsterdamEscape arranged it all for us and their house manger greeted us on arrival, everything went smoothly.

Good, clear communications from their customer service and checking in and checking out went smooth.

We thought the Hollywood apartment was good value versus paying for a hotel room in such a central location.

Overall, the apartment was perfect for our needs, and we would definitely prefer to stay in the same apartment, or similar, rather than a hotel, for our next trip to Amsterdam.

I recently used amsterdamescape to plan a family trip to Amsterdam. I have to say I'm extremely impressed by how the business is run, it's very professional and I received a very friendly and kind customer rep. They told me everything I needed to know before I picked an apartment to stay at.

When we got there, there was a lovely greeter who gave us the keys and told us the nearest bars, clubs and visiting areas.

Overall the experience I had with amsterdamescape was extremely pleasent, they were friendly and did an amazing job and the apartment was just beautiful! I recommend them highly.
