Absolutely appalling service! Bunch of liars!!
AVOID!

This so called accountants prepared tax returns for my husband. 6 years on he has received notification from HMRC that he has to pay it all back with interest. Emailed Zoe Goodchild 3 times but got no reply. Apparently the company is now being wound up, remember her name and avoid if she is associated with any other company or you will be ripped off like hundreds of others who used Apostle.

Absolutely apauling company !! Have ripped off and left many of people struggling and without money. DO NOT TRUST ZOE SHE IS A CON ARTIST NOT AN ACCOUNTANT!!

A company who tells you that you can claim for,then when you need to contact them they don't answer you. Via phone or email.
As we then have to fend for ourselves with hmrc

When you saw the fraud police coming you quickly set up 2 new companies then ceased control of apostle accounting and put Lshe holdings in control. You are fraudsters both you and Martin, now Martin has ceased control of apostle financial services. You are a disgrace. And I do have proof that I didn't sign off on those expenses I have an email ....

I now have my final bill, I received £1800, but now have to repay HMRC £2700, and no one replies to my request for SARS!

Should be taken to court by everyone they misled. They are not transparent. Absolute com woman. Claiming for things, apparently we were self employed- nope. Failed to send any evidence of what was claimed for. Hundreds scammed. No morals at all.

Well what can I say this company is disgusting. I have two young children and a partner to look after and they have put me in £7000 dept. As if I’m not struggling every month as it is to put food on the table I now have hmrc demanding money from me. Let’s hope karma pays them back one day 🤞

There should be an option of no stars for some companies, this one included! They claimed expenses for me from HMRC back in 2020, who knows what exactly they claimed for, but I am now having to pay back HMRC, plus I was changed from PAYE self assessed, which I definitely am not! Unless you want the biggest headache of your life, stay away from them and their 'services'!

They have been claiming expenses for me I never requested them to do. Costing me over 5 K in debt to pay back to the HMRC! They refuse to help and just ignore all contact and emails. I spoke to HMRC today they've informed me that Apostle is being investigated! Stay clear

Ripped off like the 100s if not 1000s of apostles clients..asked for a breakdown several
Times of exactly what was being claimed for and they would nt never tell anyone.. hmrc are just as bad whacking mounting interest by the day on already crippling final bills. Iam more shocked that somebody has nt taken their life because of these acts of fraud. Let's hope justice is served 🙏

If you are innocent of fraud Apostle Accounting, you would pay back your ex clients EVERY SINGLE PENNY that you claimed as commission and YOU should be challenging the HMRC as it was Apostle Accounting who told people they were entitled to this money.
You have ruined many lives and whether you like it or not YOU ARE ALL GUILTY OF COMMITTING 'LEGAL FRAUD' .

False financial advice given. They told me they could claim back expenses from HMRC which I was entitled to. They charged me 20% commission for this service. HMRC then told me that expenses had been claimed for that I was never entitled to. I now have to payback HMRC the amount I received plus interest and the 20% Appostle charged me. I was never asked for any proof of expenses and trusted them to know what I could claim back and what I couldn't. They only asked for my P60. As a firm of accountants I trusted them to know what they were doing. It now transpires that they were claiming for expenses that myself and hundreds of others were never allowed which meant bigger commissions for them. I have now got a big HMRC bill. If Apostle had told us what expenses they were claiming for I would never have agreed to the claim but I was and never have had a breakdown of what was claimed for. I would advise others to avoid this company. They have been reported to action fraud and have been reported to local government MPs and are being investigated by the Police and HMRC. Please avoid at all costs. I WAS NEVER GIVEN ANY BREAKDOWN OF EXPENSES CLAIMED despite Apostle saying they did. I have never had any paperwork or documentation to show what expenses were claimed. I have spoken to HMRC and the Police and their actions are being investigated. Why would this company be in the news so much lately and even have MPs discussing them in Parliament. Just look at their ratings. They are rated bottom of every category they are in.

I am one of the many people (over 1,000) scammed by this company. They submitted false tax claims on my behalf which it has now come to light have been rejected by HMRC. Apostle Accounting charged me over £1,000 which I now owe HMRC. I also have to pay interest on the unpaid tax. I have no problem paying HMRC. Please think long and hard before making a decision to use this company. You have been warned.

If I could zero stars I would,this company filed expenses claims on by behalf for something that they would not tell me what they were as they realised that at the time no receipts were required by hmrc.
And so used a loophole to claim thousands of pounds now owed back to hmrc. I am one of thousands

Avoid this company at all costs.
Tax fraud at its highest level.
Apostle’s after care was nonexistent, a lot of us hadn’t had any dealings with HMRC and Apostle knew this and took advantage of a lot of vulnerable people, Apostle only in it to make a quick few quid.
Beware and Avoid.

Please think twice before using this company to act on your behalf. I trusted Zoe to complete a self assessment and she abused this trust to submit false claims without providing any breakdowns. Now, im having to pay HMRC back, including Zoe’s fee! There has been no support from apostles to help resolved this matter, Zoe is even ignoring my SARS request so I have no evidence to even challenge this matter. Unfortunately she seems more interested in replying on Twitter than her emails. Zoe exploited our trust to make money without thinking of the consequences for her clients.
