Vultures
The people who are running this should be in jail. Passengers are getting penalized because of not properly functioning Oyster card readers. This is a completely unfair system. A faulty machine is provided at Swanley station and a crowd of white male vultures working for Southeastern are waiting on the other side on the line. They are not listening to any reasoning and issuing unfair penalties. The appeal service sends out only a robotic copy past text rejecting any appeal. Cheating criminals, that's what this is.

I was stopped today 12/12/2018 in Hounslow Central (zone 4) by a badge Inspector LU0245 and I gave a fine of £ 40 because I was an egg of zone I having a ticket with zone 2-6 included. It did not was able to prove that I was wrong, just gave me the fine, a very badly educated, very disgusting guy

These b*astards have issued me with a a disproportionate 5000% fine. This will be paid by me and I may take them to court.
Neither "Independent" nor competent
In May I received a so-called "Penalty Fare Notice" from a bus inspector (badge: LB3607) despite him seeing my valid Oyster card with sufficient credit and proof that it was indeed mine. Although I was annoyed with this bus inspector and have made a complaint against him, I am much more angry with the organizations "Appealservice.co.uk" and "IRCAS" who are working together on behalf of TFL and pursuing this ineligible payment against me.
The staff at "Appealservice.co.uk", notably an 'A. Lopez', cannot work out that I was a Customer when one of their silly bus inspectors decided to issue me with a £40 penalty on a bus 427 on 8 May 2018. I have supplied the clowns at "Appealservice.co.uk" with hard proof that I was and still am a customer of TFL. They have received digital scans of my valid photo ID, Oyster Card and screenshots of THEIR online records confirming that my oyster card expired on 16 May 2018.
"As you were unable to
produce your photocard, the Inspector was correct to issue a Penalty." is what "Appealservice.co.uk" wrote to me in a letter after they apparently turned down my appeal of the 'penalty fare notice'
As a Customer, the Inspector was wrong because he had the means to find out that the Valid Oyster card I was carrying, belonged to me. Didn't he have a phone which would have been connected to a computer database conforming my Customer status? Didn't I swipe my valid Oyster card before sitting down?
However, silliness of that bus inspector has been surpassed by the silliness of "Appealservice.co.uk" who, despite being supplied with more more information, still cannot work out I was a Customer on that bus trip.
Rigged system?
The response to the appeal of my train fare penalty made didn't relate to or make any sense regarding what I had laid out in my appeal. Seems they just copy and pasted from a script and now there is no other way to appeal it. It may only be £20 but I'm on 0 hours at the moment that's not a small amount to me and now with no other way to appeal it. I feel I've been mistreated by them and both SWR when I've used that line at that time for over a year
