It was great experience working with the company.

I had a worse experience with Aptunix than I ever expected.

This was supposed to be a 4-month project. It ended up dragging on over 5 months late, with no clear delivery and constant excuses. One of the biggest problems was the project manager. They clearly did not explain the requirements properly to their own team, which led to repeated mistakes, rework, and features being built incorrectly or not at all.

During the demo phase, several features were shown as working. After payment, those features suddenly disappeared. When I asked about them, I either got vague answers or no response at all. This happened more than once. Communication overall was extremely poor. Messages were ignored for days or weeks, and important questions went unanswered.

At one point, they even tried to cancel the project midway when they realized the main feature of our app was more complex than they expected. That alone says a lot about their planning and technical ability. Instead of being honest upfront, they oversell what they can do and deal with the consequences later.

It also became very clear that much of the work was being done by fresh graduates with little to no real-world experience. The app quality reflected that. Basic things were done incorrectly, and there was a noticeable lack of professionalism and ownership.

What’s most frustrating is that the core functionality we paid for still did not work at delivery, making the app essentially unusable. Time, money, and momentum were all wasted.

I strongly advise anyone considering Aptunix to put every single requirement in writing and get it explicitly approved. Otherwise, they will later claim it was never requested. Also, be cautious of their reviews. Many of the positive ones appear questionable and seem like they may be written by employees.

If I could go back, I would stay very far away from this company. This experience has been exhausting, costly, and deeply discouraging.

I am very disappointed in this company. They left me with an app that I cannot even use more than $5,000 wasted, plus additional costs for the domain and other fees just to get it running.
The app is useless without the main feature I requested. Their response has been dismissive, telling me it will “come in the future,” as if I don’t need the app to function now. During the demo, I also noticed another feature that was active at the time. After I made the payment, that feature was removed. I asked multiple times about it, and they have ignored me.
I strongly recommend that anyone considering them put every requirement in writing. Otherwise, they will claim you never asked for it.
I have yet to hear from them about completing the app. At this point, I expect they might reach out after this review, but honestly, I no longer care. This entire experience has discouraged me from pursuing my business idea further.

Good Client rapport. They try to understand the Client and build meaningful products

The project was severely delayed, still not live with our app 12 weeks after the scheduled end of a 16 week project.

The development team chased invoices (before they were due) as clearly their pay depends on this, and speed of development slows down once payment milestones are passed. No structured sprint plan meaning onus is on the customer to consistently chase.

On the positive side, requirements gathering was good and although it takes several iterations, it would seem there are some knowledgeable people within the team. The app looks good in the staging environment at least!

Do not engage with this company. It seems to me they have lost some revenue/projects/people recently and are now resorting to extortion of their own clients (US) to help pay the bills.

The remaining developers and engagement managers do not have the skillset to get the project done. Simple API development take 2-3 months to complete. They somehow believe they can turn a "project-based" cost to "time & material".

They do not estimate projects correctly and when it takes too long they blame it on the client (US). I was recently trying to negotiate with their CEO about transitioning the work to another company and then we make a final payment for what we owed them (which is a $1,875 fee for project restart). They simply refused to do so and wanted to charged me for work that their team hasn't done. I was able to get the fee lowered ($1,875) and agreed but they went back on their words. Their CEO tried to walk back that agreement and wants a $6,250 fee to restart. I'm guessing money is tight?

Next their CEO complained that " $16,000 worth of the extra work on Layer - 2 which is never agreed on in any agreement." This is because of their poor dev team, they couldn't get simple API integration done within original estimate of 2-3 weeks, it went on for 3 months. The original estimate was $7,200 and last I checked this is a project-based estimate, not time and material.

As a US startup company, we thought that we could trust Apptunix to be our development/technical partners. But they have since lied to us numerous times, failed to deliver, failed to capture requirements and just go weeks after weeks without significant progress. I had no choice but to ask for the code to be released so that I can work with a new vendor. As I am finding now they are trying to hold my software and code hostage. They even TOOK down our website!!! Avoid at all cost! Avoid at all cost!

Don't trust this company. The don't complete the work on time and do not follow the requirements. They have inexperienced developers and you are throwing your money in the trash by paying them. You will not be happy.

If you're considering hiring offshore developers, especially from India, I want to share a warning about Apptunix. My company worked with them on a dating app, investing close to $60K, only to have them hold our code hostage and demand more money before releasing it.

We entered into the project with clear expectations and milestones, but as we progressed, Apptunix consistently delayed, under-delivered, and eventually refused to hand over the work we had already paid for unless we agreed to pay more. This kind of behavior is nothing short of extortion.

Beyond the financial frustration, the skill level and talent from this team were not up to par. The development work was substandard, full of bugs, and lacked the quality we expected for the investment we made. I strongly urge anyone considering offshore development to do your due diligence or, better yet, reconsider offshore development altogether, as the experience in some regions, particularly India, seems to be in decline.

They said the app will be ready in 2 weeks, as they already have similar ones. Wasn't ready even after half a year. We spoke with our solicitors and that's how we found out that this company doesn't exist in the UK. Offices in the UAE, US...somebody has a huge imagination.
Every week negative reviews ( even though they have been previously verified) are being flagged by Apptunix. I would love to see majority of those positive being checked and verified:), as none of them has this status (that pretty much speaks for itself).
Apptunix is a scam, be aware.
PS. As you can see below Apptunix has gone so far with their insolence, that they have published a fake, positive review using MY name (review from India). I think it only proves, that this company is not ethical and has nothing to do with those big, polite words they publish on their website.
Not only unethical, but using somebody's surname to scam is illegal.

Crazy pushing for sales and no offices in London even though they say they ‘have’ on their websites.
This combination of all give me a very suspicious feeling that the company actually doesn’t exist and I would recommend to avoid because that seems like a scam.
I’m in the position of setting up my own business and was looking for an alternative options to get the job quick and on budget. Based on the reviews, I was under the impression that this company can deliver what I was looking for. As I’m London based, I went today to see where the offices are located from this company. Results? No offices exist.
Sales wise? Keep chasing me with emails and not respecting my time to respond. It’s a pet hate for me to be chased and I mentioned this after another email from this company with less than 24 hours between emails with no respect to it and pushing even more for sales.
For anyone who think of using their services and whenever you are from - I would recommend to walk around the city where this company has ‘offices’ and check them up just to be sure, you won’t get scammed.

After waiting 7 months for a simple app which by the way is fully paid,i think it is best for people to know the truth and to not rely on them for apps development. Having a 2-3 weeks timeline as per contract to be done and delivered,we are in the position to say that 7months after ,we are still not having our product.
I would give them 0 stars but unfortunately is not possible.
Small update: Today I have received very polite answer from Apptunix on Trustpilot (!). They invited me to discuss my issues with them. Big shame that last year (for months) they were not answering my phone calls at all. I needed to pretend to be a new customer to get their attention! Then they started explaining that the team assigned to my project was fired and they need to start with new team!
I did not ask for any additional features, they were all the same from the very beginning (the conversation was recorded). They saying about the contract (they didn't even had the decency to forward to me in the first place for months), contract, that states clearly that the app will be ready in 3 weeks!!!!
My advice to Apptunix:
Stop posting those comments, that have nothing to do with the reality, start working. Stop scamming people with non existent offices abroad, start admitting things as they are... and most of all - stop promising things that you are not able to deliver!

Please Avoid Apptuinix by any means necessary!

We contracted Apptunix to help us develop a Dating App; they claimed to have years of experience and expertise, as well as attention to detail. Upon signing the contract and beginning work with them, it has been a prolonged period of frustration and stress working with Apptunix!
Right off the bat, we realized that our assigned Project Manager was ill-prepared and wasn't even familiar with our project scope.
We have been working with them for 10 months now, with practically nothing to show for it. There have been delays, incomplete work, lack of communication, gaslighting and an allround unprofessional attitude from the Apptunix team.
Even their CEO has been unhelpful, and just parrots his employees' lies.
Upon further investigation, we realized they use a fake address in Austin TX, to feign legitimacy.

The Apptunix team spends a lot of time reassuring your project, but the actual output from them is subpar, to say the least. They lack proper project management skills, and will argue with you and gaslit you about your own project.
They tend to outright lie about the work that is already done, or what work will be done in the future, they ignore customer feedback and reviews, they overlook errors and corrections that need to be done, and they promise to make up for it in future milestones, but do not.

Usually, at the end of a milestone, they will ask you to overlook their errors, and pay for the next phase, promising to take care of the errors in the next phase, but once you do so, they ignore everything, and you end up with even more errors at the end of future phases.
This went on for months, as features were left incomplete. It seems, as a company, that they lack any desire to create a quality product, instead trying to bulldoze through the milestones and collect payments.

Their M.O. is to leave a ton of work to be done at the end then claim they have run out of funds or the remaining errors, which should've been covered in the initial project, are out of the scope of the project, and you will now be required to pay extra in order to get these things done.

Apptunix also lacks proper customer engagement skills; multiple times, we asked to hold meetings with them to gain a grasp on the situation, and they would not show up or respond to our Emails, except when it was time to request that we pay them. When they would show up for meetings, we would present our problems to them, and they would be combative, and unwilling to consider any feedback or take the customer's perspective into account.

Working with this company has been a unique horrible experience that has cost us dearly. We have lost an entire year's worth of work thanks to this company.
The last thing we want is for another fledgling start-up to have to go through this kind of experience.

Please stay away from this company.

We contracted Apptunix to develop a social media app. It has been a trying and painful experience and project incomplete after 5 months of delay with endless excuses and explanations from them. We escalated to their CEO in October and got more run around. United States Postal Service returned our demand letter to Apptunix official address in Austin as "undeliverable" with "no forwarding address". Despite a lot of lip service, they lack project management, time management and customer management skills and regularly miss timelines and milestones. The quality is poor and almost no QA with poor communications that is often less than coherent. References to Austin "development center" are also imaginary as there is no such center in existence as you can readily verify with google search. Apptunix tried to remove and discredit this review; as you can see it is the only "VERIFIED" review. We did not want others to suffer the horror we experienced with Apptunix.

Apptunix is our technology partner from 2015. We have worked with them on several mobile and web app development projects and these guys have never disappointed us. They value their customers and deliver premium quality work on time and approved budget. The best part about them is their seamless communication and support which is rare to find in most of the IT Companies. Secondly, they have a development center in Austin, Texas which enabled us to have a better control over the project.

My experience with Apptunix is unbelievable. I have my big project going on with this company. The quality, support they give is outstanding. I would love to work with Apptunix in future for my app requirements.
