Outstanding experience with Arai Europe

I had an outstanding experience with Arai Europe and wanted to share how impressed I am with their customer service.

After contacting them about an issue with a helmet, they went above and beyond my expectations. Not only did they provide the chin vents free of charge, but they also delivered them within just 2 days. They even included some thoughtful extras like stickers, a high-quality pen, and an awesome keyring.

A special thank you to Kyle, who handled everything so efficiently and professionally. He truly made the whole process smooth and stress-free, saving me a lot of time and worry.

What really stood out was how seriously they took safety and customer satisfaction. It made a huge difference to us, and my husband is absolutely delighted with the part and the overall support we received.

Amazing service from start to finish – I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Arai Europe to anyone. All helmets in our family will definitely be Arai from now on.

Don'y buy Arai Tour X5 never again

Don'y buy Arai Tour X5 never again. Poor quality.
In June last year, during a trip across Europe, I noticed that the internal chin panel began moving up and down when putting the helmet on and taking it off. At the time, I did not understand the cause. After returning from my trip, I stored the helmet and did not use it again until now.
As I was preparing for the new season, I removed the inner liner for cleaning and decided to investigate the issue. To my surprise, the entire chin panel detached from the helmet shell. Upon inspection, I discovered that this component is secured to the shell using only two very small pieces (approximately 0.5 x 1 cm) of double-sided foam tape and a small amount of grey silicone. Even the tape is not fully adhered to the shell — only a small portion is actually holding the panel in place.
I find it unacceptable that a helmet costing €850 relies on foam tape and silicone to secure such an important internal component. In my view, this appears to be a serious manufacturing or assembly defect. This is not my first helmet, and I have never encountered a critical internal element mounted in this manner.
I am also deeply concerned about the potential safety implications. In the event of an impact, a loose internal component could become dislodged and move between the visor and my face. This is not a risk I am willing to accept. At this stage, I have completely lost confidence in this helmet and do not feel comfortable using it.

Pessima qualità

Caschi di pessima qualità delle plastiche, e dei meccanismi di funzinamento dell'areazione e della visiera.
Si Rompe ovunque ci siano plastiche senza un minimo di usura...Il meccanismo di smontaggio della visiera è rumoroso, contrastato, delicato, complicato...Roba dozzinale che si portano avanti da vent'anni o giù di li senza il minimo impegno nel cercare di migliorare queste compinenti.
Mi chiedo quanti reclami possano aver avuto se a me si sono rotti tre caschi su tre negli stessi punti.
Ne ho avuti tre di alta gamma, tutti e tre rotti da NUOVI, non dopo averli usati nemmeno sei mesi...Uno addirittura si è rotto il giorno dopo averlo acquistato.
Solo la calzata risulta ottima, ma lo scarso impegno nel produrre meccanismi così scadenti per anni la dice lunga su quanto siano interessati a crescere...Mai più un Arai...La cosa peggiore è che l ultimo che ho acquistato è stato l'ultimo regalo che mio padre ha potuto farmi...Avrei dovuto puntare su altro.

Poor quality Arai helmet

I bought a new Arai chaser X helmet, which is supposed to be a premium helmet. The helmet is the worst that I have had in over 40 years of motorcycling. Two issues the visor opening mechanism is poor and difficult to open when riding, to a point where I believe it is dangerous and not fit for purpose. Secondly the visor will not clear in the rain. All previous helmets that I have owned, if you gently tilt your head from side to side, the wind clears the rain from your visor whilst riding. Both issues have been raised with Arai and initially they gave me some suggestions to try. I have tried everything that they suggested, however nothing has improved any of my issues. I have kept my contact at Arai updated with everything, he is now not responding to my emails. I have looked at their complaints procedure, but this just takes me back to a generic form, this is the form same form that I completed when I initially contacted Arai, so no point in using it again. The only number that I can find is in Holland, I don't believe that this will be of any use. Over that last 25 years all my motorcycle helmets have been Arai and I have previously been an advocate of them. I find myself in a position now where I have had to buy another helmet from a different manufacturer, so that I feel safe to ride my motorbike again. I find it interesting that Arai only get 2.6 as a score on Trust pilot.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

I bought a Quantic in February of this year and I love it, most comfortable helmet I have ever owned BUT the spoiler went flying a week ago on the motorway, both the supplier and Arai were contacted.

Since then I have been trying to get some sort of response, even if it is just an acknowledgement and we are dealing with it note.

Having spent a lot of money on a helmet I did not expect pieces to fall off and I did expect a speedy response if there was an issue. Unfortunately ARAI have disappointed me on both counts

VERY poor customer service, I will reserve judgement on the helmet until I know what they intend to do about it.

UPDATE Mid July and neither I nor the supplier can elicit a response from Arai, neither Arai Europe nor Arai Japan. The best advice I can give is DO NOT BUY ARAI It looks like legtal action is going to be my only option

Eccezionale qualità, robusti e comodi.

Eccezionale qualità, sono caschi robusti e molto comodi.

Ho molti caschi ma gli Arai sono quelli che preferisco, perchè si percepisce subito indossandolo è un ottimo casco, dalla comodità e dalla buona fattura dei materiali, eccezionale nelle versioni sportive la ventilazione, cosa che in estate è un vero piacere.

Attualmente ho 2 arai, uno con qualche anno e molti km ma sembra ancora nuovo, spettacolare!!! e volendo è completamente rinnovabile di interni, poichè si trovano tutti gli interni di ricambio, dai guanciali al resto, caratteristica che permette persino di personalizzarlo come taglia, poichè i guanciali di ricambio esistono in varie misure, per adattarsi al meglio ad ogni tipo di viso.

Calotta realizzata con cura Jap, grafica e dettagli davvero spettacolari e duraturi. Ottime anche le visiere originali specchiate, molto robuste.

Sicuramente considerato quanto sono ben fatti e quanto durano, per me valgono sicuramente quanto costano.

Inoltre visto quanto sono apprezzati, anche da usati sono ricercatissimi, cosa che fa mantenere il valore, quindi se uno volesse vendere quello usato per passare a un modello successivo fa piacere recuperare parte della spesa iniziale.

ARAI, CASCO condor, non resiste al sole

Posseggo un Casco ARAI Helmet modello CONDOR colore nero opaco da circa sei anni.
Quest’anno è diventato inadoperabile a causa della ‘verniciatura’ esterna nera che si stà ‘disintegrando’; non capisco cosa sia, la superficie è diventata appiccicosa e impossibile da lavare, al solo toccarla, con le mani o con qualsiasi altra cosa, rilascia uno stato di ‘sporco’ nero di difficile pulitura.

Ho inviato quanto suscritto alla Barracing di Modena, italia, e gli addetti ai lavori sia della Barracing stessa che dell' ARAI, mi hanno risposto, prima di lavarlo, poi che il diffetto era dovuto al lasciare il casco al sole e dentro al bauletto, poi gli è stato consegnato per visionarlo, e alla fine mi è stato riconsegnato tale quale a prima, ossia da NON PIU' usabile. Bello per un casco rinomato per alta 'qualità e per alto prezzo

chiaramente ciò che scrivo succintamente è supportato da varia corrispondenza.
