Had been excited and quickly disappointed
So I got a job here, really excited, interview was great and the induction was excellent. I got my first shift in a matter of a week which I really enjoyed! However, sadly there wasn’t many shifts advertised and the 3 that I did put my name down for which were at Bellahouston Park in Glasgow, I did not get chosen for any of them. I’m really pretty disappointed now because I got such a good feeling about the company when I went to the induction. I gave in my resignation yesterday and asked for my P45

First of all they put the most trained staff to do the rubbish Jobs…
First of all they put the most trained and experience trained waiter and bar man in the fish and chips at uttoxator, and most of the shift's are make your own way, one of the managers does not get back to you,so rude when they keep pestering you to say confirm all the time and saying when will you be at heneage street,you got a issue you would be lucky if you get a reply , clearly just a number,I'm looking for a proper job that I'll be treated right and not just a number which is clearly the case here,my friend had enough now here here looking for other work,l know how it works after 2 year's they always have bar jobs and waiter private boxes and the most experience staff gets a so called Porter job stroke doing about 4 other jobs on top of that just for 11 pound's an hour.and if you are early like Sunday had to wait 45 minutes to suit them before l got swiped in wasting my Time and not getting paid for it ,it's not a good solution to Try and make a Living this agency cancel all the time, Manager's don't get back to you even though its there job I'm only going to book once in a blue moon now work from now on shame because they are going to lose good training hard workers,who can speak full English shame

I have had an excellent experience with Theo and his team. I have been using their colleagues for the last six months to cover a challenging period for my operation. The team at Arc has always been available to receive my requests and responded to any feedback I have made on their colleagues with a positive can-do attitude. I would recommend the use of this Agency to anyone working in the hospitality industry.

Thrown in at the deep end and had to quickly get temporary labour for our hospital sites. I have to say working with Arc has been an absolute pleasure. Amazing Experience
My experience with the Manchester team has been nothing short of excellent!!

Underpay you
I worked for them the over Wimbledon event. Myself and many others I have been in contact with have been seriously underpaid by hundreds of pounds. Their contact is terrible, whenever I’ve messaged they send me on to someone else who then never replies. They have not been in touch as to my pay issues. Will never use again. Very unprofessional.

A high percentage of the staff were great but score reduced for the ones who were betting on duty and complained about having to walk anywhere!

This is the worst experience of my life possible. This is terrible.
They was great to me until I felt I like was taking too much work which lot but I apparently caused scene with Twickenham which I didn't work to as pourer. I had ago the rep I was incredibly rude back I was offered job I didn't want to do. Then I tried to explain next minute just before I got from the app removed from Wembley shift was cancelled , I wasnt offered more shifts after that. They no longer communicated further. I tried talk Arc London but manager got rude to me after I tried to explain what happened as I interrupt on phone by having ago them and shouting they blocked me my number as I was treated like criminal. That was dreadful experience for me very terrible although I didn't leave good impression on them. They got know bad side of me. Which I am great person anyone who knows me well enough that I am hardworking person no other agencies had done that way.

HUUUGE shout-out to Arc Manchester
I can't imagine how difficult it must be to manage and meet the demands of hundreds of students, part-timers or whatever your circumstances may be that demand flexible, short-notice work, but Aine, Emma, Amy and the rest of the team at Arc Manchester do an AMAZING job of doing just that.
These guys always go the extra mile to help make things work for you, if they at all can. You can tell they really care!
Having had a few health issues and a bumpy last year in general myself, the Manchester team have been very accommodating and I won't forget that.

Payroll marked my clock out short.
I am aware that pay slips can get mixed up however we have supervisors who sign us in and out and write specific clock in and clock out times.
Last weekend working at Wembley was horrendous. A lot of staff were rude and ill mannered. Job card said I’d finish at 23:30 and I have to ask to leave at 00:00 where the man kindly signed me out, wrote 00:00 clock out as I remember showing him the time and he kept the job cards. I got home at 3am the next morning due to missing the last train I was scheduled to get. I also got to work before 15:30 as asked an hour before (although my shift time was 15:45).
I am happy to be flexible and take the longer journey home for work but not when my job card will mark my clock out time any earlier than I actually did. The work demanded a lot of me and I want my job cards to be accurate. 23:40 instead of 00:00 is only 20 mins, I don’t know if it affects my pay, but it affected my cost of travel and time to get home. I hope this gets sorted fairly.

Amazing
Joined last summer as a student because I love the fact that Arc is so flexible and it worked perfectly for me. The staff are always helpful especially Rachel who is always there to answer questions and help us. There are a wide variety of shifts from concerts to hospitals and I have never struggled to find a shift. Absolutely love Arc!
