They don't honour your guarantee
Sold me DeWalt work wear, it starting falling apart after a few times of use. Arco refused to exchange it or give me my money back. Should of bought cheaper work wear would of lasted longer.

Excellent Service & Friendly Staff
This is the first time I've dealt with Arco and they were very helpful in sending out a large order, having promptly arranged a pro-forma invoice so that the goods could be sent in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend Arco.

No delivery. No refund.
Took money for order. Advised can't deliver till 9th of March in 12 days from placing order. Called to cancel even though item not going to be dispatched for nearly 2 weeks and they are keeping my money stating order is complete as they have placed a purchase order with supplier. Have been advised I need to wait till item arrives then return it and be charged a restock fee. Absolute joke and surely breaching some regulations here.

There are occasions where we are unable to cancel orders, but this is usually linked to the product already being dispatched, or if it is being delivered by the manufacturer direct.

Worst Experience with Arco Head Office Sales
Having supporting Arco for several years the worst experience with head office sales team and paying over the phone and then cancelling my order as a 'Fraudulent transaction'. The Northampton branch stepped in confirming me as a 'genuine customer' and processed the order over the phone. I do not wish to deal with any sales person in Arco head office as they are just waste of time trying to secure orders for thier own target. Infact if it is not for the branch I do not wish to business with Arco Head Office as all previous business are just wasted effort as a business
I hope someone reads this as our business spend with Arco is significant.

Thieving from accounts
Very disappointingly poor. My business is in Hull, and I thought I'd help a (much bigger) Hull business. Sadly this is not a busniess but a thief outfit. My order for safety gear went in, but they proceeded to use my card details for 'mythicals' over the next two days, presumably hoping that I would not spot. I did. The bank have told me all the details of these mythical transactions. Customer service could not care less. I'll get them.

It sounds like these are ‘pending transactions’ which is a standard payment process. This is part of the authorisation check banks carry out to ensure funds are available and also provide visibility as to what payments are upcoming. Payment is not taken by Arco, until the items have been dispatched. We will then issue an invoice that outlines the full transaction.

I had searched online for an item and found exactly what I wanted at a more than very good price on the Arco website. I went to the Arco Branch at Blaydon only to learn that the item was not a 'stock' item but had to be ordered online for delivery. As I wanted the item as soon as possible the lady in the Branch directed me to another Retailer less than two minutes along the road. However, checking out that Retailer I found their prices were even more than the Arco price with delivery charges added. I returned to the Arco Branch and went ahead with ordering the item. This time there was two female assistants who entered the order, took payment and advised me delivery would be on 13 January 2023. I went home thinking the Service was good as I only had to wait from Wednesday till Friday. However, I was outside my home the next day when the item was delivered. I was over the moon and really appreciate the help given by the ladies in the Blaydon Branch. I've used Arco for many years when I have bought for Companies for whom I worked but this was a first experience in purchasing something I wanted for myself. Thank you again so much ladies, you can be sure that next time I require something that Arco retails I'll be there again!

You are still sending orders to a site that does not exist yet despite the order having a delivery date of 24 or 25/01/2023. Your customer service dept has agreed to try and recover 2 deliveries already made and yet I get 2 notifications today of delivery tomorrow.
