But stock item quantity not updated in the mail order list. A listed 3 meter long power cable said to be available was actually out of stock. I had to choose a 2 meter one instead.

False advertising on website, products not available even when advertised as in stock or 2-3days delivery.
Products still available on website nearly two weeks after being informed they are no longer available.
Taking full payment before you even know if product is available.
As soon as a problem occurs, you go all quiet. I had to email you after a week to ask about my purchase, literally one minute later I get the DPD details.
Taking more care every day (according to your website) to check the opposition rather than updating your own website.
As seems to be the case these days, you very quickly take the money, after that it's all up to the customer.

...A couple of points regarding the reply from Audio Affair. At this time no one from the company has been in touch with me regarding the issues raised.(28-8)

Firstly, good on you to big up your company's great service in the first line of a reply to bad customer service. Classy!?

Second - I note there is no reply about taking people's cash before checking that items are available. Yes Neill may have gotten back to me, but NOT before you had the money. Does your company not have responsibility to check this BEFORE any transaction?

Third - The unavailable item is still showing on the website as available, even though you reported to me on the 17th August that it wasn't. Someone is online every day check competitor's pricing, but can't remove inaccurate information from your own site?

So from what I can see, the reply is more to try and save your reputation from harm, that to actually address the issues in hand.

1. Working until 9pm Friday is not a testament to service. It means you are understaffed or not very good at writing the corporate drivel you pass as a reply.

2. Website linked to stock? Yet you can't/won't check your stock before taking peoples money.

3. My reading is - We are done now, we have your money now, can you go away and let us pump out boxes of stuff to other entities.

I've had 3 orders inside a month since discovering Audio Affair and will buy from them again.
Excellent website with a huge range of goodies from the mundane to mind boggling (for me anyway) and info. Competitive prices, fast service.
