It was easy to book with Berlin City Tours and their website is easy to navigate. I booked the City Circle Berlin Hop on/Hop off bus tour with them. The reason I have given three stars instead of five is because of lack of information (see below) that really should be mentioned on every booking so people are not left stranded.

The routes on the City Circle tour were well thought out, most of the bus drivers were pleasant and helpful and the regularity of the buses was very good. What tainted my experience was what happened towards the end of the day. It was 5.30 and I knew the buses would stop at 6pm. The bus stopped at the river cruise stop and the driver said he was not going any further and no more buses would be coming along. He didn't care that I was left stranded. If it had been explained to me when I first purchased the ticket that some buses finished earlier, I would have accepted that and made arrangements to be at a stop where it was easier for me to make my way back to the hotel. But that wasn't the case and the indifference from the bus driver made the end to a fabulous day only mediocre.

I have been on many hop on/hop off buses in various cities throughout Europe and have never been left stranded until Berlin.

The tour was great. A bit long though with 3,5 hours roundtrip and not the most convenient departure location. We booked online the lunch tour for a 10am monday departure and we had the huge river boat more or less for us selves the first part. And with the nice weather also it gave us a great and relaxing day on the Spree. The food was good also.

It was a wonderful experience. We visited a lot of places and got to know the history of the city as well.

A perfect tour to have a chance to learn a Little of a very intersting city!

The Sealife Aquarium was great for the kids, lots of things to see, feeding schedule wasn't 100% accurate, but you can find it there as well. Tickets received via e-mail. You do need to print them out, but that wasn't a problem luckily. Website was easy to use.

Site is easy to use, found some things to do quickly. Confirmation with tickets was pretty speedy. Would be nice if there was a remarks section on the booking screen though.

Don't buy ticket on mobile. They made us stand in multiple queues and gave wrong info before we got a printed ticket by emailing our receipt to a hotel desk. Lots of wasted time.

The total experience was perfect from beginning to end

The tour guide was so nice and knows alot about the city. Nice comfortable car provided.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Berlin Wall and Cold War tour that was conducted by Alastair. His detailed knowledge of the recent history of Berlin and anecdotes were imparted with a lovely sense of humour. The bikes were comfortable and the tour was conducted at an equally comfortable cycling pace.
Highly recommended.

We arranged a private day tour of Berlin from our cruise stop at Warnemunde. Both our driver and tour guide were knowledgeable and went out of their way to customize our tour.

We took a tour of Nazi Germany and were very impressed with the guide's knowledge about the different sites, the anecdotes he shared and the pace he set for the group. A great way to experience Berlin!

We did the Cold war tour,it was 4 hours and was brilliant,our thanks to Jan the tour leader we would recommend this tour as not only very informative but great value.

The guide was knowledgeable and the Driver outstanding.

Our guide was really great and welcoming. In depth knowledge about the city. Very punctual. No regrets!

Office staff was very helpful in changing our reservations when the cruise ship could not dock at Warnemunde.

All went as advertised. Bus was waiting as we exited our ship (Eurodam), and tour guide that met bus in Berlin was very good, and we were able to see all the sites noted in the tour description. It would have been nice if there was a video or even just audio introduction and history of the sites we were on our way to visit during the 2.5 hour bus ride into Berlin, and maybe some description of the beautiful countryside we drove thru on the way back to the ship. Long day but can't be beat for the $100. price.

We were on a cruise ship that docked at Warnemunde where we were met by the tour company and bused in to Berlin (journey took approximately 3.5 hrs). There we were met by Boris Corinado our tour guide for the day. Boris did an amazing job. He put the various sights into historical perspective and brought the city to life. He is an American living in Berlin and easy to relate to. After spending 4.5 hrs touring Berlin with a lunch break to enjoy German food, we headed back to Warnemunde in ample time to board our ship. While it was a long way back and forth (over 7hrs), this tour was well worth it.
