I am extremely disappointed with the service received from Berry Croydon BMW regarding a safety recall on my vehicle.
I first attempted to book the recall repair in late 2025 and was repeatedly told that parts were unavailable. Over a period of many months, my appointments were cancelled, and despite several follow-up emails, I was never provided with a clear timescale or proactive updates. Instead, I was simply told that the dealership would contact me when parts became available.
What concerns me most is that this was a manufacturer safety recall, yet I was left driving the vehicle for over eight months with no resolution. When I raised concerns about the safety implications and asked for an update, I was effectively directed to contact BMW UK myself.
The most frustrating part is that I was eventually able to have the issue resolved through another BMW dealership, which raises serious questions about Berry Croydon's handling of the matter and whether sufficient effort was made to support affected customers.
I appreciate that supply chain issues can occur, but the lack of communication, ownership and customer care throughout this process was unacceptable. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Berry Croydon BMW for aftersales service or recall management.

I would highly recommend steering completely clear of Berry’s BMW.

​My vehicle suffered a catastrophic failure of a critical component that Berry's BMW had literally just checked. The car went in for a safety recall; their team inspected the component, deemed it safe, and sent me on my way. It then completely failed.

​Instead of taking ownership of a dangerous manufacturer defect that they missed, the service department completely ignored me.

​The lack of communication is shocking. After launching an official complaint through BMW UK, I was assured multiple times that Berry’s management team would contact me directly. They never bothered. Even when BMW UK chased them internally on my behalf, Berry’s completely ignored the case and never reached out to resolve the situation. They clearly have zero regard for customer safety or retention once they've "done the work."

​In the end, I had to take my vehicle to Sytner BMW, who were absolutely brilliant. They actually care about vehicle safety, treated the matter with the urgency it deserved, and properly took care of the car.

​Save yourself the stress, the endless chasing, and the total lack of care—take your business to Sytner instead.

We collected a new bmw 1 series yesterday or as my daughter said collection day.
From picking the car to collection the experience was fantastic. I really have to thank Joe Cresswell for this.
I know it's his Job but the service and attention to detail was great. My daughter has not stopped smiling from the day she picked the car. Joe helped us every step of the way. We are super happy. I feel we got a great deal.

Went for an airbag recall. Left the car in the morning and late afternoon before closing was ready, unfortunately I could not collect it on that day.

AVOID AVOID THIS DEALERSH Berry Croydon BMW.

I left my vehicle with them for a brake disc and brake pad replacement. When I collected it, I found a long scratch running across both the front and rear passenger-side doors. I reported it immediately, but my concern was dismissed and I was told they would not accept responsibility. I was also informed that there were no photos or video taken when my car was handed over, despite the inspection sheet containing a generic note about scratches.

I also want to make it clear that I never signed any marked inspection sheet or damage report.

I dealt with Jack and Zohaib during this issue, but unfortunately my complaint was not resolved to my satisfaction.

My advice to anyone leaving their car with this dealership is to take a full video and photos of every panel before handing over your keys and check the vehicle carefully before driving away. It could save you a lot of stress if a dispute arises.

I hope Berry Croydon BMW investigates this matter properly and resolves it fairly.

Chris was the salesman that dealt with me when I went there to lease a BMW he was brilliant and even afterwards he called to check I was happy with the car. If you want a BMW ask for Chris he will go above and beyond. Thanks Chris you are an asset to BMW.

Great customer service, no complaints here.

Had a recall for the BMW. Local BMW garage was quick to offer an appointment.
Dropped the car early morning (745). Quick and easy. Picked it up at 3pm same day again quick process and smooth.
A video was sent for a small health check. Lovely touch. Clear update on the state of the tyres/suspension and brakes.

Both the check-in and check-out processes were very efficient. Mark was very customer-friendly and very informative. Oh, and the coffee is very good too!

Staff are very pleasant, and the work is always carried out quickly. You also get updates on your repairs. Compared to other branches, Berry BMW is the place to have your car repaired. Customer support is tops!

I had a very disappointing experience with Berry BMW. The service was extremely unprofessional, especially in the parts department where the waiting time was far too long. The quality of the work carried out was also below expectations and did not feel professional at all. Overall, communication, efficiency, and customer service all need significant improvement.

booked a service while you wait for 10am, at 11:45 could see my car had not moved, asked a service member of staff who said my car was on the ramp, pointed to my car in the carpark, told sorry we have not looked at the car yet, will try and do that soon could be upto 4pm, said no thanks. given wrong car key then given correct key to the car. very poor service. how can they book a car in then no one question why its not been done. told by the service manager human error. waisted half a day. come on BMW were is your customer service.

Had a great experience here picking up my new car yesterday. The epic 500+ mile journey to Berry Croydon BMW was well worth it. Our Sales Executive was James Beckenham-Hunter who was fantastic throughout the whole process answering all our queries thoroughly and promptly. He went above and beyond with his customer service and couldn't fault anything. Very happy with my new car!

Truly dreadful BMW dealers, collection day waited 3 hrs and then they closed the showroom so had to return the next day and wait again, then they promised “compensation” for all my wasted time only to then renege on this and no one would speak to me - seriously go elsewhere Jardine BMW bromley 10 x better.

From start to finish..garbage.. Do not buy a car from here. Was this voted the worse BMW dealership in uk? They failed to deliver a car that I was assured was serviced and fully checked. It was not serviced as agreed and the heater wasn't working as well as the drivers mirror indicator. This was picked up on workshop inspection but they "chose" not to mend it and deliver a car with no heating.....hoping that it could be claimed through warranty ...Their after-sales service is non existant and the show room is a dump... gaffer tape holding leather together on chairs and security guards on the doors. BMW uk can do nothing about this.... which leads me to advise you to buy from another deaership....
