I originally met James Rossiter to discuss listing an apartment I am selling on behalf of a family member, but his deep market knowledge ended up leading me to my next investment. The service didn't stop at exchange. James and the team arranged access for me to get contractor quotes before completion, saving me weeks of downtime. A huge thank you also to Perm, who handled the deposit and financials with total efficiency. James even recommended a solicitor who turned out to be world-class. My property has now been put forward for 'Homes under the Hammer' with James involved—a testament to the quality of the deal. I couldn't be happier with my first auction purchase and look forward to many more with Bond Wolfe!

Unexpected additional costs
I was initially informed that the buyer’s premium would be £1,950. However, the total additional costs payable came to £5,995, which is over £4,000 more than I expected.
While I understand some of these costs were included within the legal pack and may have been set by the seller, the overall total was not clear to me at the point of bidding.
In a fast-paced auction environment, the difference between the headline price and the total cost can be significant. In my view, a clearer and more prominent breakdown of the full “all-in” cost would help buyers make more informed decisions.
This is based on my personal experience.

I had experience of selling as an executor through a different auction house in the past and it wasn’t good.
