We rent a car from airport for two days. They said that car is checked but they were trying to sell me the full insurance but I didn't want it.
Before we took the car I said my wife that we have to film the hole car and every little scar we will found. From rear bumper I found so little scratch that it was size of ball of the ballpoint pen. (I have worked on car repair shop when I was younger). So we check the car by ourselves.
When we returned the car for Trailway station there came three guys to check the car. And guess what, they instantly found that rear bumper scratch 😂 but we have that filmed and we didn't loose 800€ deductible.
I am pretty sure that they have charged that same scratch for several times. So be very careful if you don't have that full insurance.

I only wish I saw these reviews before I made the booking. I made the booking via Booking.com, another scam company. It has been over a week and no sign of my deposit refund. The Budget rental contract states that the holding deposit will be paid when the car is returned. I retired the car and never heard from them back. They’re holding over £700 of my money, shameless!! Never again!! I noticed that the company didn’t bother to response to any of the reviews, very clear message to customers that they don’t care.

After 15 days, they still didnt pay me back the deposit they took for the car renting. They replied only once to say "check with your bank". But after dozens of checking with my bank, they couldnt see any money from budget.cz. And budget stopped replying to emails and 15 days passed and still i didnt get my money back. Dont recommend anyone to rent from here.

I have been using this company for a number of years and the staff at the local branch I use at the Ostrava airport is fantastic but the company's cancellation policy is disgraceful. If you decide to cancel your booking at any time they will charge you 30% of the total price on their cancellation fee. Make sure you hire the car through your airline company because you can cancel your booking for free.

Similar to others on here I have suffered charges after drop off for the first time ever on hiring a car. These charges were made 4 months after drop off, when I had thrown out the documentation of no damage to the car (I keep these for 3 months). Most frustrating. In the process of writing complaints, but suspect they will fall on deaf ears.

I have rented a car with them at Prague Airport. They have emailed me 4 weeks after I returned the car and said that they took 200 GBP from my credit card to cover the damage on the car.

When I returned the car, there was an employee walking around the car with a flashlight looking for every little thing he could find. He discovered something (not a scratch) that could not be seen at first. Only when I looked the second time and from a difficult angle, I could barely identify a dent the size of a pea. Since this was so hard to see, how do i know if it wasn't there from the beginning? You don't normally inspect the car with a flashlight and from angles...

He said not to worry about it, that he does not work for Budget and has to report it, but the company will later decide what to do with it. Since this is so small they may ignore it. My flight was soon and I had no time to check with the company.

One month after I returned the car. I am getting an email with a charge. The problem here is that they don't even send me a photo of the damage. Hmm, let me guess why....

Avoid this outfit, they will rip you off and you will end up paying twice or more for your rental. Save yourself the hassle and go with more decent company.

Don't go here! We had a minor scratch on our hubcap and ended up paying another 200 euros. It turned out to be a really expensive hire just for one day. We went to an renowned rental to avoid these situations, but apparently is doesn't work that way at Budget.

I forgot my mobile inside the car when i returned it and budget employees stole it. Unacceptable. Shame

Hyrde bil av Budget Prague Airport 7-11 augusti 2018. Idag 19 september har jag fortfarande inte fått tillbaka min deposition 8241 SEK. De svarar inte på telefon och mail. Jag får nu göra en polisanmälan!

Bedragare ,har fortfarande en mer än en vecka inte släppt reservation belopp ,ingen hjälp från kundservice,går ej att nå via telefon,håller på att göra en polis anmälan för bedrägeri akte er för detta företag!!!!

Can't trust Budget in Czech Republic .
They take your credit card info , then they try invoice you for something u never done !
Had to deal with them , when they take money out of my card 10 days after returning to my home . Can't even call them , because no one answer !
Via email they say one thing and do another thing, still waiting for my money, which ( according to them ) were send back .
Prague office shouldn't represent budget company at all , because it's a shame for budget .
So I wouldn't recommend this car rental in Prague Czech Republic to anybody , not even to my worst enemy !
