All the kit I needed was there
All the kit I needed was there and at a reasonable price. There was a glitch with the third party payment system but that got sorted out without any fuss.

Having a mower that wouldn't start, I drove a long way to Buxtons.
The Service Manager was friendly and helpful and spotted the problem with my mower in an instant. He told me how to fix it there and then.
He gave me the option of booking it in but explained how busy they were this being the height of the season. I decided to take it home and given his advice it was fixed in a few minutes.
He did'nt have to do this! He could have said nothing and I would have lost the use of my mower for two weeks and had a bill at the end.
Such Honesty has earned you a new customer, and I will travel some distance to have my mower seviced with you in the future. Thank you.

Will not be going back!
Buxtons wanted 14 days to service and repair my mower. That was Ok by me but I wanted reassurance that I could pick it up at the end of that period as I was going away. I overheard the manager telling the young lady that served me “charge him another £30 if he’s that desperate” When I asked what the charge was for he replied “your queue jumping”. I was gobsmacked. Needless to say, they didn’t have it ready on time.

I'm sorry we let you down this time, John. Ensuring each and every one of our customers walks away from Buxtons happy is our first priority. Like all lawnmower repair centres, we're currently very busy with repairs. We advise customers of our estimated waiting times, and we do our utmost to keep to this time frame. However overall repair times can be extended beyond this if repairs are complex, if the spares required for repairs are not in stock, or if the mower needs to be collected or delivered. For customers with a particularly urgent need for a repair we offer a priority service, however there is an extra cost for this service. We're sorry we didn't make this clear at the time, we understand that we handled this poorly. - Lewis Wickes
