SCAM! USED CAR FINANCE
SCAM!! Please read if you're buying a USED CAR and using CA Auto finance for a PCP agreement. When you buy the car the company isn't interested in the condition of the car, just the miles and your intended miles per year. When you hand the car back after the agreement term, they get an expert to look over the car to find things wrong with it, then charge you for everything. When you dispute the defects and mention the car was in that state when you bought it they aren't interested, they use the company line of, you were responsible for the car. So what will happen is, you will pay for everything that is wrong with the car even if you can't notice it when you buy it, the expert will find it and charge you for it. Awful experience with this company. I understand when buying a new car, the defects will be down to the owner, but a used (5 year old) car is a different story. Garages do their best to present the car in a way to look it's best for you to buy it, so if you miss things or are not trained in what to look for you will be charged. Examples of this are, dull paint or dirt in paint. I asked why they didn't want to inspect the car once it was bought in order to carry out a before and after check but they didn't have an answer. My guess is so they can scam you into paying for defects which they wont even rectify as the car goes to auction anyway. TOTAL DISGRACE. Will not be using again and will be telling as many people as possible about this. Please be carful when using this awful awful company.

Headline: Avoid Like the Plague – Incompetent, Negligent, and Regulatory Failures
LOOK OUT FOR CA AUTO USUAL RESPONSE, THEY WILL DO NOTHING TO RESOLVE MATTERS!!!!!!!
I took out a 48-month agreement with CA Auto and made 41 consecutive payments on time. My experience was seamless until I attempted to exercise my legal right to Voluntary Terminate (VT) the contract. That is when the "clowns" took over.
The Coercion: Upon termination, I was hit with a demand for over £1,400.00 for "Value Added" insurance products that were completely unusable post-termination.
The Negligence: I followed the correct procedure and wrote a formal letter disputing this balance. Instead of investigating a genuine dispute, CA Auto immediately lodged a default on my credit file.
The Incompetence: It took three months of constant pressure for their management (Pedro) to finally "wake up" and admit the balance they were demanding was completely wrong.
The Lack of Care: Even after admitting their "system error," they have been sluggish in removing the toxic default they illegally placed on my file. This has caused me massive financial distress and potentially jeopardized a mortgage.
This company employs staff who pretend to be smart but possess zero customer care skills and a total lack of understanding regarding FCA regulations and the Data Protection Act. They use your credit file as a weapon to force payment for erroneous debts.
Save yourself the stress, the money, and your credit rating: DO NOT use CA Auto Finance.

I recently went through the process of handing back my car with CA Auto Finance and had a very positive experience. I was supported throughout by Naveen Dhir, who was extremely polite, helpful and understanding from start to finish.
