We stayed at Absolute Heaven and had a great time. The cabin was clean, cozy, and was also close to town, which was great! The kids enjoyed making s’mores over the fire pit.

We stayed in turtle dovin’. They had a good photographer. The pictures looked like it was private in the woods. There is another cabin 20 yards away. We did not use the hot tub, it smells like a swamp... Toon meer

Worst cabin rental place ever!!

Worst cabin rental place ever!!! Booked cabin in Pigeon Forge 6 months before vacation. Got notice 3 months later my reservation was being canceled because the owner was no longer using Cabins USA. No cabins available for same price, only more expensive. Company offered me NO discount whatsoever for any of the more expensive ones that were available. Representatives acted like they didn’t care and it wasn’t their problem. I’ve checked with other companies and now we’re left with no options in our budget. A vacation scheduled 6 months ahead totally ruined now with no place to stay. BEWARE!!!!! Make sure you have a backup plan if you book with them.

I would give zero stars if I could

I would give zero stars if I could. Arrived on Wednesday evening with 11 people (2 teenagers and a toddler). We checked into The Woodsy Rest. The drive up was a nightmare and parking was non-existent! I’ve never had to put a minivan in low gear to climb a sheer cliff like that. Wifi didn’t work, TVs didn’t work, dishwasher didn’t work, hot tub went out after one use, strong copper smell from well water, soiled couch, soiled pool table, no tips on the pool cues, dirty carpet, electrical cords everywhere…we called every day and were promised a call back every time but never happened. We never received any help other than maintenance coming the second day and got 1 television working in the pool room. How are we supposed to set kids up for a movie around a pool table?! Made the trip to the office twice and still, nothing was done. This was an experience to say the least…a learning experience to never use this company again. It rained every day of our trip which is why we paid for the non-working amenities and still couldn’t get anyone to address the issues. Cabins USA doesn’t care AT ALL about their customers or what they pay for. I hope they shut down soon and a reputable management company takes over. They refunded $300 of a 2k stay so yeah, just don’t even bother!

Cabin USA Rentals/Amazing Views to Remember Cabin

The views from this cabin are beautiful but the cabin is a DISGUISTING place to stay and a huge WASTE of your money. We arrived on Saturday, January 8, 2022 and checked out on Wednesday, January 12, 2022.
We rented this cabin for us, our three adult children and grandchildren. A big part of renting was the ambience that was given in the description of this cabin. The views were said to be amazing, each room had a fireplace, with a fireplace in the living room, Jacuzzis in each bathroom and a hot tub located on the deck.
Upon our arrival we could only get 2 out of the 6 fireplaces to function. The hot tub had stagnant water with no chemicals, a film around the water line and would not reach a water temperature above 100 degrees. The refrigerator had not been cleaned, the oven had old food in the bottom and we had to run the oven cleaner before we could use it. There were bulbs burnt out in the bathrooms. I called the number provided late Saturday afternoon and was told they would send maintenance personnel out to take a look at these issues. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and did not expect them to respond on this day, it was already late being check in was at 4:00p.m.
Sunday came a went with still no response! As we began to settle in, we realized how disgusting and unhealthy this cabin was! None of the beds had mattress or pillow protectors. The pillows & mattresses were stained yellow from others body fluids. There was mold on all the shower curtains, in the washer, on the kitchen faucet and on the floor in front of the washer. The ceiling fans & bathroom vent were covered in dust, the stairs leading down to the game room had a sticky film on them. The main floor bathroom toilet leaked from behind and up the wall. There was candle wax that had dripped all down the shelving, sticky yellow stuff on the jacuzzi tub and this tub did not work. The tub in the downstairs bedroom spit out black sludge. We thought it was from not being used and ran it two more times in attempt to clean it to no avail. Off the game room where the washer is located was an exposed electrical box, a dirty plunger on the floor, mold on the floor, in the washer and used soap bar on top of some boxes. We received a text on Monday to leave the kitchen faucet dripping and the cabinets doors open due to a possible freeze. In doing so when we woke up in the morning, we found a nice large rat eating our food on the countertop! He apparently lives under the dishwasher, where there was nice hole! There is no way you could convince me that this place had even been cleaned or inspected! The headboard in the downstairs bedroom was not attached and had fallen on my son & his wife when they went to bed. They found under the bed where it had been secured by pushing bricks against it. The main floor deck railing was so unsecure we could not allow the kids on the deck without an adult. There was a propane Bar-B-Que grill on the deck, but the burner was so clogged that it could not be use. However, someone had placed a charcoal grill on the deck, but we felt it was not safe to use with all the wild fires!
I once again called the office on Monday. The lady on the phone said she had seen where I made the first call and a request for maintenance to respond was in the notes. She told me she would send it through again and notify the supervisors of the problem. She reassured me that someone would call me back within the hour! We went on with our planned events and no one ever showed up, nor called!
Upon checking out on Wednesday, I was very upset with the fact the cabin was so disgusting and the customer service was even worse, I called Cabin USA again to express my displeasure! I spoke with Shannon, who without hesitation offered to refund a portion of our cleaning fee. She offered a refund of $175.00; our cleaning fee was actually $209.00. I told her that was unacceptable and I had photos of how disgusting this cabin was, if she would like to see them. She requested that I forward the photos via email, so she and her management team could review them. We did not hear from Cabins USA until Thursday. The supervisor called and stated she was only willing to refund $250.00 dollars, we paid $2,056.12 for this stay and I felt that offer was a slap in the face for the unsanitary disgusting cabin rental we paid for. She did not budge and could care less that I told her I would just submit a review with my displeasure! I did not even want to address the fact that there was no COVID protocols in place. THIS PLACE IS A DISGUSTING HEALTH HAZARD!

A Hilltop Heaven

I stayed in A Hilltop heaven from 12/23-12/28/2021 and I was disappointed this year, bathroom downstairs toilet made alot of noise, spider webs everywhere, no heat downstairs had to go buy a electric heater. Not enough space in the kitchen to prepare your food, the driveway needs resurfacing. The directions to unlock the door wasn't on point, had to call the office. Roaches crawling in the kitchen around the sink. My cleaning person Genesis didn't do a good job cleaning.

Horrible, dirty experience

My family and I had a horrible experience with Cabins USA. We rented a cabin for over $13,000 for 5 nights over the 4th of July. The cabin was filthy, every single arcade game was broken (approx 10), both hot tubs didn't work and the pool was dirty. The oven was broken and duct taped shut, towel racks were broken, the couch was ripped, utensils had been put away dirty, there was a hole in the bathtub, numerous lights were out, TV remotes didn't have batteries and I could go on. Cabins USA was, in my opinion, the worst company I've had to deal with. I will never use this company again.

Family Getaway Cabin

Pics on Website are deceiving. Overall "terrible experience".. Front porch, steps, swing & rocking chair were unsafe. Living room rug & fireplace were dirty. Couch & loveseat were soiled, wet and had a bad odor. Not what anyone would sit on. Dishwasher didn't clean dishes. Blinds in all rooms, some damaged. Bathrooms had mold.
No view from balcony because trees were grown up past it and should be kept clear for viewing..
This cabin needs a deep cleaning as well as updating and maintenance..
Wish I had something better to say..

Terrible experience was totally preventable

What was your weekend like?

We rented a cabin for the weekend with cabinsusa.com. With COVID-19 in play we could not take My son to Great Wolf lodge like we usually do so we decided to rent a cabin with its own indoor pool in pigeon forge TN.

My son has been asking about Great Wolf for months and we kept telling him we were going to go to a place where he would get his own pool to himself. He was very excited.

The drive up was not fun. Waze brought us through numerous tight back roads that the rain made that much less appealing. When we got to the complex with the unit it was a trip up unbelievably steep hills with single lanes and blind curves. We were very happy to be at the cabin and decided we were not leaving for any reason.

So imagine our disappointment when we got there to find the pool was half full. There was a hose running from outside into the pool room propping the door open. The room was cold and the pool was half full of cloudy water.

We called maintenance and about 2 hours later they finally showed up. Guy was nice enough but not much he could do. He estimated the pool would be up to the filter by maybe midnight. The system would then run and then clean and heat the pool.

The pool was not up to the filter by midnight. It was not full after letting it run all night. So looking at a pool 3/4 full of cold cloudy water we called cabinsusa agian. I asked if they had another cabin with a pool we could shift to. He said he’d call me back in 15 minutes. An hour later he called back to say no they did not.

So we packed up and left. I told cabinsusa that I had no intention of paying for this trip and was met with talk of well maybe there could be a partial refund.

To their credit they did let me know later that evening that they would refund 100% of my reservation. But that doesn’t change that I spent 4 hours in a car only to have to turn around and head home the next day.

So I’m still pissed. My son was a champ. He did not fixate on the pool or that we couldn’t use it. If he had it would have been even more of a nightmare.

And all it would have taken was a phone call. If you told me ahead of time that the cabin was not ready I would have been upset but I would have understood. I might have even simply tried another week. Cabinsusa refunded my money but that is the very least they could have done and even that I had to make a stink about to make happen.

So that was my experience. The pictures below are the picture from the brochure and what we actually got. I’m glad to be home but what a miserable way to celebrate my sons 6th birthday.

Worst Place to Stay in the Smokies

Upon arriving to our cabin on 10/30 - the cabin was unclean, unsafe, and not as described. Customer serviced would not fix Upon arrival at A Mountain Escape on 10/30/2020 we immediately found the cabin which was advertised as being located in "tranquil wooded surroundings" was just steps away from a busy highway with 45mph traffic. The stairs to enter were uneven and unstable, the staircase inside had loose spindles and could not be enclosed accessibly with a safety gate, so we were unable to use half the cabin with small children as they could slip through the spindles.. When I called customer service they would not assist me but assured me a manager would call back, we left to grab dinner and await the call. When we went out to our car we discovered other vacationers staying in a different Cabins USA cabin loudly engaging in sex outside. We called the company to complain again, they again promised a manager call back, they did not provide an address or phone number to file a complaint with the police. The manager never called. That evening exhausted with no options we came back to our cabin to be harrassed and yelled at by the same vacationers as earlier from their cabin. We began to unpack only necessities in hopes we could get a refund and find acceptable arrangements the next day. We discovered the bathroom and bedrooms were in unclean condition and documented in photos. The sheets had clearly not been changed and the bathrooms had hair in the tub from the previous tenants. The upstairs bathroom had laundry lint and messes on the floor and was also obviously never cleaned. Absolutely despicable in the middle of COVID-19! We went by the office in Pigeon Forge on 11/1 again, to request help, again we were promised a manager that never called. After leaving on 11/7 I have reached out numerous times and been hung up on, and had no phone call returned ever. We are not picky travelers, the cabin was missadvertised, unacceptable, unsanitary and unsafe. We will now be reaching out to the Tennessee Attorney General to file a consumer complaint and calling the Sevier County Health Department with our documentation if we do not receive an immediate response and refund for our exhausting, miserable stay where we were never accommodated, and treated poorly. I hope that Cabins USA sees the importance of responding. We never would've requested a full refund but the complete lack of communication and unwillingness to resolve anything in any way has been disgusting and added insult to injury. Nothing less than a full refund, and assurance that sanitation issues will be addressed to be made acceptable and safe, and the advertisement corrected to no longer reflect "tranquil wooded surroundings." is acceptable at this point. This cabin should not be inhabited. If the maid - Genesis actually ever comes out to clean, she should be fired or given strictest training. It was filthy and especially unsafe during a pandemic when cleaning protocols are supposed to be at their most stringent.

DO NOT STAY HERE

DO NOT STAY HERE! The accommodations, amenities, location, comfort and process were not at all satisfactory. Lets begin with arrival, the address they gave us on all documentation is wrong and we are not the only ones this happened to. You had to drive a mile up further, take a random road uphill and then take a steep downhill into the property. The driveway looks NOTHING like this picture, it is STEEP and was difficult to get in and out of, if you have someone staying in the cabin RIGHT next to you its even worse. We were extremely disappointed with our stay, this cabin needs to have a better inspection before families come to stay. On day one we filled 3 work orders... 1) for the cable not working in the entire Cabin (3 rooms and Living Room) and no remote control working with the main TV. 2) The hot water heater was turned off, no hot water in the entire cabin and it was 10pm (someone should have checked that before we arrived). 3) The fireplace did not work. In addition to what we put a work order in for... the water valve in the main floors bathroom almost fell off, the sofa bed is unhinged from the actual sofa and you end up scratching the entire floor putting it back in and out... there was a loud noise coming from the vent in the basement bedroom to the left of the stairs that kept us awake 2 of the 3 nights (I have a video)... there are no closets to hang clothes in the main bedroom and no hangers in the rooms downstairs... there are no full length mirrors... the mirror in the bathroom downstairs is made for 6ft tall people, you cant see your whole face... the hot water runs out after one shower/bath... the driveway is a NIGHTMARE and not at all like your picture advertising the cabin. Overall, this was a pretty horrible experience, the ONLY thing that worked well was the WiFi. The owner needs to update this cabin ASAP. Not worth the money paid and there are multiple complaints on the Better Business Bureaus website. Shame on you!
