Extremely expensive fees & terrible exchange rates- a total rip off, Far better to do all purchases on visa/ MasterCard or AMEX- exchange rates far better & no fees.

Do not use this card. They lost $10K of mine, I talked to many operators including supervisors Kimberly and Maryann. They consistently promised to find the money I deposited on the card and to call me back. I’ve never had a call back and to date they have not found my money. Each call I made took around 25 minutes which makes me wonder if this is a telco scam

Wallet with cash passport was stolen. Phoned number on app immediately but took an hour to speak to someone during whichtime the card was being fraudulently used. Calls disconnected twice by them. Considering this was an emergency situation we got no help whatsover. The balance was low by this time as they took so long to block it. They offered to send the balance to us (50 euros by this time) via Western Union but this was going to 24 -48 hours and they wanted us to find the exact address on Western Union Branch which was impossible whilst in a foreign country for the first time. Avoid using this card. Any other way of taking money would be better than this. Shame on Mastercard. A disgrace.

App down for maintenance again, then the website won’t work. Absolutely useless. Just causes major stress and not worth the hassle.

Do not get this card nothing but stress and never works!
Customer service never helps just gives pointless answers to questions not even asked!
We was left in countries unable to pay for anything or just top up absolutely useless card. We got this to save on fees and that has not happened I've had to use my normal card to purchases stuff and the cashcard never works.
Disappointed and should have read the reviews not to get the card in the first place!
Do not get this card save yourself the stress and extra fees! They are also keeping my money that was supposed to be refunded back to me!

Load of rubbish.

Would not let me reload the card on holiday. Kept saying top up error. Wouldn’t let me ring and wouldn’t let me send an email all saying an error- so that would indicate an error on their end!
I called when back off holiday to get told I can only reload my card once a day- no where does it say this! There is a money limit but no limit how many times per day under money limit.
They said they would look into it- sent me an email claiming they had called me several times to discuss and I’d missed the calls…..no missed calls on my phone…
And then I called back for them to say yes that’s an error On their front that it doesn’t say anything about it but they will not give any compensation or anything about the fact i had to use my bank card abroad and got charged and called them which charged me too. Load of crap. AVOID

This company makes false claims about cash load times and has terrible customer service. Do not use CAS Passport! They state that cash is loaded in two business days. This has not been my experience. They make it almost impossible to make an enquiry! Liars and thieves!

Google services and delivery apps do not accept this card. Nearly useless.

Terrible & wicked service.

Got the card today from the post office and tried to make a purchase on aliexpress which didn't go trough. Both are blaming each others. I'm confused as to what the hell i'm supposed to do lol

I already miss my Visa from Canada post. Sometime i had to call and make them approve my payments but this is a whole new level of bullshxt.

They took my money off my credit card but DECLINED the bill. Money no where 🤷‍♀️
Worst ever

Purchased the MasterCard Cash Passport at Canada Post after they phased out the Canada Post VISA card. Tried to make online payments for my Fax service and Web Server. In both instances, payment failed. Called Customer service at the back of the card from my landline, and after waiting to talk to an agent, the line got disconnected! Called a second time, this time I got through, but the quality of the audio was so bad I could hardly understand what they were telling me. Though echo, noise, heavy foreign accent of the rep speaking "English", choppy and garbled audio I understood that she was telling me that this card is not compatible to make recurrent online payments of services, just for one time purchases. Like really?!

Conclusion: This Cash Passport card is total garbage. Stay away. Useless at best.

Awful customer service and I haven't tried to use the card yet. The app won't work, money has disappeared from my account (yet it shows no transactions). When you call Customer Services (who must be based on the Moon or further away), you can't understand what they say, not because of their accent just the poor connection and garbled voices, if you struggle to understand, you get cut off.

I got mine from Sainsburys, going to withdraw all my money and use another way.

I also would give this a negative if I could. Very shady, they ask for all types of personal information that is not required.
This is after many phones calls and many emails. They keep asking for more and more personal information. I don't want to give away all this personal information, it could easily be forwarded onto others, I do not feel comfortable dealing with them.

Worst decision I ever made to try to use a card like this. First, the website makes it sound like you can use the card for purchases on websites outside of your own country. You can't. And you can't change your mailing address even if you have a mailing address in more than one country. But that's not the worst problem, nor is how much you get screwed on the exchange rate each time you transfer funds. The worst part is that I tried to use the card at a gas pump on Sept. 9. It didn't work. The pump kept rejecting it, so I went in to pay in cash. Later, when trying to use my card on Sept. 14, I checked the balance online, and it was $0! There was a pending charge from trying to use it at the gas pump. I called the customer service, and after about 10 minutes of having to type in a variety of numbers just to get to the point where I could request help from an actual person, that person told me that the funds were pending and would be released back to my card on Sept. 17. So all of my remaining money was tied up as pending for EIGHT DAYS. Now I will be back in my home country before the Sept. 17, so the card is essentially useless to me unless I want to get screwed on a currency transfer rate. Also, it's good to know that if the currency on your card is your home country's currency, you either pay 1.5 times the amount of any purchase in your home country with your home currency, or you can pay an exorbitant amount to transfer to a checking account, or pay several dollars in fees to withdraw it from an ATM. I could leave the foreign currency on the card for the next time I travel abroad, but oh, there is an inactivity fee charged every month after 12 months of no use. I think this is a scam and someone should be investigating this company for unfair and deceptive trade practices.

Don't buy it!!! The service is absolutely ridiculous. The website and the app don't work properly, the assistance is not at all thorough. The card itself works 30% of the time if you're lucky. They might also block your card for inexplicable reasons and that is a real hassle. My advice is: use other methods of currency exchange!

Bad customer service
They will freeze your funds and than ask for a ridiculous amount of personal information from you to access your money
They are 'People's Trust' which are under a class action lawsuit for not properly protecting customer info.

Don't use this card if you plan to travel!

Dodgy. Rip off. They don't tell you there is a cash out withdraw limit (only $ 200 per transaction) when overseas but at the same time you pay $ 2-5 surcharge per transaction each time. When closing account both online and on app as soon as I tried to do so it froze so that it won't let me take my balance out and they can keep taking the $ 4 non use penalty per month. They dont notify you they will start charging the penalty so by the time you realise you have some balance they have already stolen so much money from you.

1st time of using cash passports and never again!! Lost over £80 on the card in fees! DO NOT USE

Total garbage, does not allow to use your money and blame the other companies, never again
