Awful, just gets declined everywhere. And customer service is horrendous when you try to call to resolve the issue.
Recommended by Tesco bureau de change, sadly I feel ripped off. It wasn't made clear that the card had a minimum top up and putting £50 on would cost £98. Suffice to say I won't be topping up and wil... Toon meer

Second time using the cashpassport card…
Second time using the cashpassport card and will not ever use again. Their security set up does not work which has resulted in our accounts being locked and we have had to phone up both times to get into our accounts where it has taken forever to get sorted.

Bloody useless !!
Bloody useless !!! Kept telling me my pin was wrong but it was revealed to be correct.Then i lost money every time i accessed my bank account in transfer fees, then they charged me $10 to close my card.Cashpassport SUCK.

Card works but shocking customer service
The card worked just fine overseas for both transactions and cash withdrawals.
The problem has been that since returning to the UK it has been impossible to get any kind of statement or transaction list. All that is available is a recording of the past five transactions as a verbal message giving the sterling total, not the currency amount or the payee. There are no record posted to the account online. I have tried to get a statement but they will not email one nor put the statement or transaction list online. My company requires a reconciliation but there is no way of doing this which will lead to problems for my team.
I have been shocked with how unhelpful the customer services are when telephoned. I am disappointed that they have not put the transaction record online as they are supposed to and feel they should be willing to give some kind of statement in lieu of this. They will not, allegedly for security reasons.

Terrible company, very very poor customer service after my card got cloned and the balance emptied. Please avoid, rogue traders!

Cheeky fees, confusing infrastructure and poor customer service
They cheekily build into the small print of cash passports an inactivity fee (12 months - not very long for a specific currency travel card) and also a cash out fee which they charge to recover your funds should you wish to! Upon questioning how much this would be, they say "Check with the store at the time of cash out to see if a fee will be applied."
Ridiculous to not be able to let a customer know what they will be charged for getting their own money back! Their 'customer service' refused to refund my inactivity fee. When calling, you never know whether to speak to Travelex or Cash Passport, neither do you know which you actually are speaking to. Their online infrastructure is far from clear with multiple websites for different products, very frustrating.

Avoid this rip-off!
I bought a "cash passport" with these people when i went to Australia a couple of years ago.
Buried in the small print is a statement saying they will deduct a monthly fee for non use of this card...........they have managed to pinch almost two years' worth of monthly fees at $4.50 a month which has really mounted up. When I found out I was really irritated but (being British) blamed myself for not reading the small print. I found something small on ebay and used it a couple of months ago.
Surprise, surprise they are STILL swallowing a monthly fee for non-use.
I have complained and await their comments.....
