Work in the best interest of lining their pockets only.

I would echo what everyone else has said a disaster from start to finish with my property purchase. So many errors with invoicing alone, so I can only imagine what they might have done with the conveyancing itself - god forbid that I only find out when I sell. Slow to reply and just all round a very stressfull experience. I was buying two investment properties at the same time and using another solicitors for that - zero problems with the other company but CRS = nightmare.

Everything thats bad about UK solicitors and none of the good things
Extremely good at billing the client but awful at achieving anything. Solicitor was quite junior but terribly arrogant but without the skill or knowledge to justify it.
Still living on a past reputation but simply not worth considering in 2024

Truly awful. We approached Sarah Anticoni for help in connection with our marital situation; she came highly recommended. I found her condescending and only rarely prepared for meetings, having consistently failed to read correspondence before arriving in meetings. She pushed us towards a divorce when other solutions could have worked (and would have been less damaging for our family); I cannot see how her approach to mediating a financial settlement could possibly have worked and in the end the process collapsed with nothing to show for it apart from her bills. Avoid.

This firm is the most expensive ever, the service slow beyond belief. The communication is worse than useless and to end it all they make you feel that you are beneath their consideration. The best thing you can do is complain and ask for a fee reduction!

CRS was on the seller's side of a real estate transaction (I was the buyer). They were RIDICULOUSLY TERRIBLE in their job. They got the residential address on the contract WRONG. There were so many errors in the lease document and they REFUSED to rectify any of those and refused to acknowledge any of those were actually errors. It took months for them to actually fix the mistakes on the contract, only to realize they introduced EVEN MORE MISTAKES. They were absolutely EGREGIOUS.

By far, the worst legal experience ever. We have waited nearly one year for a license to alter. Slow, poor communication and expensive rates. If you care about your time and property, stay away from this firm.

Useless. How long does it take to get 3 people to sign a piece of paper. 2 weeks and counting, apparently..... No sense of urgency. Can't even get hold of the case-handler to get them to chase ("Not available" apparently and no voicemail so can't even leave a message). Not like I'm paying hundreds of pounds for literally a template document to be signed by 3 people (external to Charles Russell)....!?!?!
