I have a tiny company that manages a building freehold, coordinating three leaseholders into getting building repairs/insurance etc.
I did look into doing accounts myself (there aren't many transactions at all) but decided it looked more involved than I felt comfortable with.
I found Cheaper Accountant through a web search and the price was good as were the reviews.
Simon at Cheaper Accountant did our first years accounts with very little fuss and for a reasonable price.

Needed a one-off service to submit year end accounts for a limited company. Can't recommend Cheaper Accountant highly enough. Was being quoted four or five times the price from other accountancy providers - they also took weeks to reply with a quote, while Simon was very prompt. Very happy with the service provided and will definitely use again.
